Their listing at Buya for a Makita radio said the battery and power cord was included. They sent a radio that seems to be stolen from a job site and is missing every accessory. In their listing they even wrote that they tested the radio,.. yet they have no battery or cord. This company is owned by a pathological liar. He/She lies when there is no reason to lie. read more

Today was a good day we went to pawn one searching for something and we found the exact item we needed. It was a little expensive and thank you to Crystal, who is always fair and warm towards us. she always makes us feel special by remembering us. Double Eagle works with you on loans would recommend them vs. Pawn 1. Not willing to work with you and double eagle was able to waive some small fees to help me get my Camera back. Pawn 1 is business only and wasn't willing to do even a store credit when I was just 1 day past my loan. Misread my due date and so they charge me another $13 on my loan. Only reason I went here is because they are conveniently closer then Double Eagle in the valley. Loan was a small $200 worth and they profited $65 so far doing nothing but a 2 month loan. Guess $13 is worth more to them then helping customers out. Also, if you don't have the ticket of the loan they charge you a extra $3 which is just extra profit for them. The staff there is incredibly helpful, and polite, knowledgeable, and and above all fair and honest. One of the first times that I went to pawn one, I was looking for a motorcycle helmet. I told the guy at the counter that is this was my first motorcycle, I didn't want to go riding it without proper protection knowing my daredevil habits. He recommended that I get a new one, due to the helmet they had in stock was more than 6 years past the date stamped on the helmet. I had no idea helmets have an expiration date, but it makes sense. The guy helping me out showed me the Ins and outs of helmets, and gave me a good idea of what I needed. Which wasn't in their store. Not many people will do that, usually they just make the sale. I have returned to both purchase items and sell them. I have had a pleasant experience each and every time. read more

Garbage. Absolute Garbage! Pawned my iPad here at the airway heights location. When it was time to renew I called the store and asked them when the due date was. They told me I had until Feb 13th. I went in on the 13th to renew the ipad, and it was already on the shelf for sale! And because it was put on the shelf for sale, they threw away the case I pawned it in! I asked them how they were going to resolve this issue, and I was met with a resounding "too bad". They literally did nothing to fix THEIR mistake. But it doesnt stop there. 2 weeks later I came in to redeem my ipad as I no longer wanted these top notch a-holes possessing it, and I once again inquired as to the missing case. The best option the so called "manager" could give me is giving me a "good deal" on some movies. Are you serious Pawn 1? YOU threw away MY collateral before my due date was up and now you want me to spend money at your derelict operation? I think not. And it still doesnt end there. After returning home with my ipad I come to find that they did some sort of reset on it, erasing everything I had on it, and leaving it in an unusable state. Thats right, they bricked my ipad. Completely useless. If I had known they had done that I would have let them keep it for the 100 bucks they gave me. (Side note, they had it on the shelf for $400.
