I've seen several shows here. The flow of traffic and parking is easy enough to figure out. Everyone working will direct you on where to go and they are quick to keep traffic moving. I prefer to eat there so I make it to my show on time. The dining hall usually has something for everyone, but you should get reservations. The sound or acoustics are okay. I hope they continue to make small improvements as the places ages to keep it maintained especially since it's a heavily carpeted building. It is a different experience than other theaters in the area such as Bass Hall, but I appreciate how many good shows flow through here.

View of the stage from my seat. We snagged seats in the back and still had a nice view.

Went to see The Wiz on Broadway and the show was awesome! I am not handicap but I'd be upset if I was. It didn't look wheelchair friendly after parking and it doesn't look like there are enough handicap parking spaces but I could be wrong but they should be closer to the entrance points and the sidewalks need to be able to be used. Staff was friendly and it was clean inside and the lines for refreshments moved quickly.

Opened in 1925, this beautiful Spanish Baroque venue was the place to be seen in its hey day. Once the home to the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and Dallas Opera,it now primarily serves the Broadway Dallas scene . Unfortunately over the years it has been remodeled and updated with little to no thought to preservation of the original. I came here as an elementary student on Dallas Symphony field trips and remember the Grand Dame opulence of the place before the " bad face lift". Still,it functions well for modern entertainment, like the play I saw tonight or the countless rock concerts I've attended here . Even with other venues in the area having functions, the parking is measured and separated,so you're assured convenient parking. If you have a reason, don't hesitate. Be sure to walk around to see the fantastic front elevation and original fountain. Not to be missed . Go!

I absolutely love Music Hall and am so happy to have such a special place here in Dallas. We love coming to catch a show as we have yet to make it to Broadway but gives us the opportunity to see the shows that have graced the stage of Broadway. I know that everyone has a price point for tickets - I made the mistake of just buying a seat for a show I wasn't sure about and I can say, never again. My attention was drawn to the lights projecting from behind me that I wasn't focused on the show but besides that, always a great time at Music Hall!

Location Southeast Dallas-Dart station just outside Parking Valet and nearby street. We ride shared. Atmosphere 70's building, theater Service Outstanding Menu Crystal dining room offers a buffet for @$37. Many bars. We like to go to the far end snack bar-they combined the cheese and charcuterie plate to one-YEAH! The red wine pour is larger than the prosecco. Candy snacks, soft pretzels, salads, sandwiches. You can pre-order intermission alcohol. Shows A wide variety of show offered. We saw Corn and Lion King. Really good! Summary Local Dallas theater with great buffet, snacks, outstanding service, and excellent shows.

We got to see The Outsiders tour while they were in town. It was so good! My family's first time at this venue and they loved it. The food and drinks were 10/10!

My daughter & I went to see The Lion King, and it was a great show. It was my first time inside. We sat in the balcony area, and the seats were good and fairly comfortable. There's not a lot of leg room, but I get it! They had several areas for drinks and snacks, which was cool. Nice venue, and the parking is close to the venue as well. I was nervous we'd have to walk far but we didn't.

It was spectacular show . Actors and Actresses were great. The venue was amazing all the seats will be great views. I went to the 1:30 matinee thinking it wouldn't be packed wrong . lol lots of people. Concessions are on both floors selling drinks and real drinks . 2 merch Floors as well. This is an absolute amazing event. Thank You To Music Hall For Bringing This Show To DFW.

the outside of this theater is gorgeous. lots of parking available on the premise. seats are decently comfortable. not sure about the other sections but the balcony doesnt have a lot of legroom. i'm pretty short so it was okay but for someone tall i would definitely go for aisle seats.

The music hall at fair park is an amazing venue without a bad seat in the house. For years, we have been coming into productions here usually with the Dallas summer musicals but true. A few concerts here in there as well. No matter where our seats are on the floor or in the balcony. There's never been a bad experience for us. The staff that works here is amazing too, and they usually have some good food options available in the building as well.

Betelguese, Betelgeuse, Betel ... Ahhh what a charming and delightful musical! I have always loved Music Hall at Fair Park! Lots of parking and lots of memories as a child coming here. Once I heard Betelgeuse was showing, HAD to go! This establishment seems to remain timeless! It's almost 100 years old. The acoustics are phenomenal (with some recent improvements, it is considered one of the best for musicals)! It is of Spanish Baroque style with Moorish architectural influences. It containing six stair towers capped with cast domes and arcade porches overlooking Fair Park. It has always looked down its nose at Fair Park but adds a lot of class. It has housed the Dallas Symphony, Dallas Opera, Dallas Summer Musicals plus more than a few Broadway travelling shows! My 2nd cousin's husband, a historic Oscar winning musician/director/producer in his own right, took me to a couple of symphony performances here as a child. He loved this place. While I loved watching and immersing into the sounds as the DSO played Rachmaninov's Isle Of The Dead and Saint-Saens' Danse Macabre one Halloween's eve (1968 or 1969?), it was Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker a couple of months later I've fondly recalled. Of course, seeing ZZ Top play was also a favorite. While I love the buffet when going, overall, I find this place quite cool to have a date night. All in one package deal (A tip: make reservations for the buffet once you get your tickets as they do sell out.)

    We had a blast!

Oh my god, my family and I went to see The Nutcracker at Music Hall at Fair Park. It was a wonderful experience and I loved every minute of it. The show was spectacular. The talent was outstanding. My 9 y/o had so much fun. She was smiling, dancing and could not stop looking at the show. I have been at the music hall several times now and I like the amount of staff and organization they always have, especially with the bathroom situation. I do feel like they need a bit of improvement with the place perse. It's an old building and it would definitely benefit of some nice/modern updates. Other than that the regular parking seemed ok and it was only $10 so that was pretty affordable. We did valet because we were almost late and for $25 we didn't need to park far and walk in the freezing cold. We were at the 2nd balcony on row J so I thought they were pretty decent seats. The show was a total of 2hrs which was perfect for the amount of little kids in the audience. We went to the 6pm show and it was full but not insanely packed. I was so happy I decided to get us tickets to see the Nutcracker and create a beautiful memory with my family. It is something I would love to do every year if possible.

I've been here a few times now for shows, the most recent of which was last night for Beetlejuice the Musical. I've primarily sat in the rear of the floor and have had good experiences there. Of course, the rear sides can have somewhat obstructed view depending how far to the side you are, but that's standard of all performance theaters. Last night I saw in the balcony in Section QQ Row M Seat 1. I will never forget it as I had COMPLETE leg room!!!!! It was glorious! I have long legs and have never had free space for legs in a theater outside of sitting in the front row on the floor. This was a welcome and unexpected treat! There were no obstructions in that seat, however you are high up so to see details of faces and make up, costumes, etc. you will need binoculars. The only issue I had with that seat/section/balcony was that the sound quality was not very good up there. I felt like it was hard to hear the words in certain songs and dialog in the performance because of bad acoustics or the sound system. I've experienced better in balconies of other theaters so that was disappointing, and I never had that issue when sitting on the floor at other performances at Music Hall FP. I like that there are bars throughout the theater and that they have a restaurant (Crystal Terrace) and concession stands throughout the theater. I ate at Crystal Terrace last night without a reservation and was very pleased with the service and food options. It's $35 per person for a full buffet. The food was good! I really like the parking options at Music Hall also as you don't have to pay to park there. If you want a close spot, that's $35 but if you don't mind walking a bit further or taking the extended golf-cart for a ride, the free options are perfect. Expect traffic of course. If the sound had been better in the balcony last night, this would be a 5-star rating. If anything can be done to improve the sound system/acoustics, the folks in the nosebleeds would appreciate it.
