Honestly, I think this property is uber cute. The vibes are great during the summer...but the rest of the year can be underwhelming. Definitely a hotspot for nightlife, so be prepared for that. If you're staying here for proximity to things in Dallas, I can't blame you. But there are other properties that put you in much better locations.

This place was very nice. I didn't stay overnight but I had lunch at the bar and went upstairs later for a pool party. I was told they have a Drag brunch here sometimes, sounds fun. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, very vibrant. Bar service was great. Baqr food was ok. We had Palmer assist us, she was very nice. The Gm checked in on us and he was very chill and accommodating. All the staff were on their game, while still seeming genuinely happy. That seemed nice. Upstairs by the pool was a restaurant and a bar on the other side. Nice views. I would recommend.

I love virgin as a company and knew that I had to stay at one of their hotels for my birthday before sailing off on my virgin cruise and I was highly impressed! I booked a suite and it was one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. Checking in was so easy and we got there in the middle of the night. The staff was so helpful taking our bags to our room for us and giving us all the info and rundown. There is plenty of street parking nearby. The elevator has this beautiful red light, perfect for taking pictures and setting that signature virgin mood. This hotel is so well decorated and photo worthy. Our suite was amazing, with fantastic views from our wrap around balcony, a literal shower room with multiple shower heads and benches, double vanity, the softest bed, and plenty of living space. We also ordered breakfast and enjoyed our eggs Benedict and Texas shaped waffle. There is a beautiful "rooftop" pool and outdoor area, as well as a gym, conference rooms, cafe, room service etc. The service here is excellent, the ambience and feng shui is worth the price and visit. Do not miss out on this beautiful opportunity to get away and treat yourself!

Even though I was an half an hour late from the time slot I purchased, I was seated with my group. This little pop up is very christmasy and cute. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lot photo opportunities. The drinks are all Mariah Carey Christmas themed and the food is delicious. The wait staff were also helpful and friendly, we were given great suggestions for food and drinks. We were there during our purchased time period, glad we opted for an 5:30p time slot we left around 7:30, as we were walking out we noticed how busy it was about to be.

Perfect place for a quick staycation and date night. The Virgin Hotel's central location makes it easy to enjoy all that Dallas has to offer. For us, it was the ideal spot for a staycation. Everything we needed was either on-site or just a short distance away. I would recommend The Crown Block for brunch or Drake's for Dinner (make a reservation). The staff made our stay very pleasant . From the check-in to the restaurant's room service. The food is a bit pricey but it's tasty! They also left a personalized card to wish us a Happy Anniversary! Nice !! If you're looking for a fantastic staycation spot or a memorable date night experience, Virgin Hotel Dallas should be at the top of your list. We have stayed here at least 3 times so far. The ultimate escape without having to leave town. We'll definitely be back for another staycation soon!

For the value, this hotel is AMAZING. It truly gives a "5 star experience" from the moment you pull up. I was greeted and the concierge immediately grabbed my suitcase for me and carried it up. They open the door for you every time and really make you feel valued. I booked through Amex and let me say, the benefits were AMAZING. The $100 credit could be used on anything (including alcohol and at the pool), and they gave $60 a day for breakfast to be used at the coffee shop, restaurant, or room service. One of the biggest things that stood out at this hotel vesus others is their car service. We could call anytime and get a ride to/from the hotel complimentary (make sure to tip the drivers though!). It was truly wonderful, they have beautiful cars to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius (we chose the black Escalade). That offering alone really made this hotel a luxurious experience. The pool was great as well. I will say, we went on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and were able to get 2 loungers with umbrella. I did notice that by Noon, all the loungers were full, so you might want to keep that in mind if you are hoping to grab a spot. Overall 10/10 experience, cannot recommend enough!! Also the hotel is very adult vibed and caters to couples, it was great.

Petey was our bartender at the Saint Nick's Suite Escape pop up and he made this experience phenomenal. He was so personable, listened well and ensured each drink was made to perfection! I don't think I'll make it back before the pop up is over this year, but I hope y'all bring it back next year as it was so fun to enjoy this view while sipping on some of the best cocktails!!

First time at the Virgin Hotel, and I attended for a Mariah Carey-themed experience being held there. The hotel entrance was beautiful, and the staff were welcoming. We were directed to the restaurant/café where the event was taking place. Upon arrival, we checked in with the host, and entry was only allowed with a ticket or reservation. The $20 prepaid fee granted access and included one free sample cocktail. The space was beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme and had a few Mariah Carey trinkets, but it didn't stand out much from a typical holiday setup. Parking, however, was a big issue--limited and inconvenient, especially if you're just attending the restaurant. This was frustrating and added unnecessary stress to the visit. Once seated, we ordered food, and our server, Janai, was exceptional! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided attentive service with excellent recommendations. Thank you, Janai, for making the dining experience enjoyable. I ordered the "Uncommon Burger with Truffle Fries" and the "Make My Wish Come True Martini." Both the burger and martini were outstanding--10/10 for flavor and presentation! The truffle fries, while decent, were a bit underwhelming--7/10. While I enjoyed the food and service, I was disappointed by the lack of a true "Mariah Carey experience." There wasn't much that made it feel unique or immersive beyond the decor. Additionally, the pricing felt excessive: the $20 entry fee, the cost of food, and an automatic service charge (gratuity) on top of two separate sales tax charges. Overall, while the dining and food experience was pleasant, the parking challenges and lack of a true themed experience make it unlikely I'd return for any future event. Thank you, Virgin Hotel, for the experience.

I had a great relaxing stay here. I like the whole ambiance at a virgin hotel. I like the deep red elevators. I like the red doors. I love the big windows that also black out for sleep. The shower was quality. Everything is nice and clean. Service every day was nice. The lobby is themed and classy. Relaxing.

Saw some photos on the website and thought. Hmm this is interesting and decided not to stay here because it felt like too much of an adventure and after weeks of traveling for work, I wanted something a little bit more plain and simple. So I stayed down the street but came here for three days for a conference. The hotel is a different vibe. It's very red and pink and full of floral arrangements and is about a celebration of intimacy I'd say. Perfect for a romantic getaway probably not idea for a conference. Either way, the facilities are pretty great and well maintained. Staff are hustling to make the experience a great one. I saw the inside of some of one of the rooms and it's certainly set up for intimacy. You can tell a lot of thought went into this business from the rooms to the cafe to the restaurant which had lovely desserts and drinks. Chilled by the 4th floor pool and outside terrace. Wasn't very lively but the ambiance was relaxing. The room we did our conference was okay at best. Nothing to write home about. The two screens were far apart which left the people in the middle of the room to strain to see. And the sound system kept going in and out. Had desserts and drinks in the onsite restaurant and that was a joy. The wait staff were top notch, perhaps because it wasn't a lot of people there and they had the capacity to chat and be friendly. Cleaning crew also gets two thumbs up from me. Still only a 3 star because of prices and the vibe you get when you walk in plus the conference room was barely okay.

We were thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this hotel. From entering the front lobby and all the gorgeous decorations, to the unique details in the room. It is all perfect. Our room was really spacious and extremely clean. It also had a great view! I love the aesthetics throughout the entire hotel. They also have a coffee shop and a bar/restaurant connected to it. We enjoyed the close proximity of those. They also offer a valet service for parking. That is the only option for parking other than street and the back lot if you find a spot. It is $46/night for valet however, it is important to note they offered to drive you to anywhere within a 3 mile radius on their car should you choose to use their valet option.

This hotel is a trendy boutique-style property with a distinctive design and an intimate setting. I love the use of red throughout; it adds a charming touch. It's quaint in many ways, which I really appreciate--it's not overly large or crowded. The rooms are clean and quite spacious. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.

Ask the Community - Virgin Hotels - Dallas

Parking? Is it all valet, nightly charge? Other parking options?

There is valet and there is an over night self pay parking lot right next door. There is limited street parking that might get you towed.

Do the rooms have a fridge?

    Yes they do

We are considering staying next weekend...are the pools super crowded? Is social distancing compromised if we are planning on hanging out by the pool? Anything to know if the pool is the focus of our stay? :)

We stayed here for 4 nights and they always had "private events" so we were denied access to the pool and rooftop. So disappointing. We couldn't use the amenities after paying $1700!! Lower your expectations!!

I must personally acknowledge Charisma, Jakory, Jenny, Michael, and the ENTIRE Valet Team for taking exceptional care of my guests and me. These new friends have become new family now! One of the reasons I chose Sky Blu is because they do not sell food. This allowed me to hire my own caterer to personalize my birthday menu. The MAIN reason I chose Sky Blu was because of the amazing views of the Dallas Skyline. It simple does not get any better than the rooftop views! The room was excellent. It was the perfect size for the tons of stuff I had to bring with me for the celebration. The greatest benefit was staying at the same place the party was happening at. Did I mention we got a great rate too!!! Other reviews mentioned issues with paying the valet fees. The valet fees are cheaper than NOLA, so it wasn't an issue. As I mentioned, the valet team took really good care of our vehicles and helped with luggage. Tru and Sky Blu Rooftop Bar are now the #1 spot on my go-to list when I'm in DFW. There is a cute garden area with large waterfall, astroturf grass and trendy furniture. The events I have attended were given by private individuals and church functions. While the church functions seemed to go off without a hitch, the parties by private individuals have had their share of problems...specifically with the venue deciding to unexpectedly shut the party off at midnight and declining to serve more drinks because they "ran out of cups." I've read other reviews of other "surprises" the night of the event...and I'm not sure if its because of poor planning by the staff or the unrealistic expectations of the one who booked the venue. This perfectly modern, chic space is nestled in the heart of the design district central to many restaurants, bars and hotels. (We rented a room at the Double Tree Hotel - Market Center which was literally 4 mins from the venue). Perimeter Zen can comfortably accommodate 70 people, there's a projector to display images during events, adjustable lights depending on the mood, a sound system for phone connection or DJ set up, a kitchen/ bar area, chairs, tables, and lots of parking! I was initially concerned that with everything it comes with, the cost would be astronomical; however after more than a few changes to the quote and about 50 emails on my end, Daymond got me to the right price and reserved! I rented the space from 10:00pm-1:30AM on a Saturday night and when I arrived Daymond and Sean were already there with the light preference I requested on display and the slideshow rolling, all my friends and I had to do was put up balloons and get the DJ and bartender acclimated before guest arrived. Daymond and Sean were extremely hands on, continuously asking if there was anything they could assist us with! It was very apparent they care about their guest, and I was reminded of that even more as the night went on when there were a few times they had to remind people that they could not leave the building with any open alcohol containers (cups or bottles) for safety and liability purposes and I truly appreciated that. Most places will just allow any and everything to go on, but not with them, their desire is for everyone to have a great time in their space, safely. I could not have asked for a better team to work with, it was a magical night. The owners are true gems and I would recommend this space to ANYONE looking to host an event with a touch of elegance.
