The rooms are nice. I like the fact that the shower is separate from the restroom. Customer service at check in was great. The pool area is really nice. They have cabanas that you can reserve. This hotel is a valet parking only so be prepared to pay for the parking. They do have a courtesy truck at valet where the attendant will take to wherever you need to go within a 3mile radius

I don't know about the rooms or the decor the rest of the year but, if you want some good Christmas photos, this is the place to go. It doesn't hurt that their signature color is red. Literally every space on the first floor offered a photo opportunity. We stopped and had a lovely chai tea; there was also a bar. It was clean and quiet and very inviting. I'm gonna do some research on the price of a stay.

Honestly, I think this property is uber cute. The vibes are great during the summer...but the rest of the year can be underwhelming. Definitely a hotspot for nightlife, so be prepared for that. If you're staying here for proximity to things in Dallas, I can't blame you. But there are other properties that put you in much better locations.

This place was very nice. I didn't stay overnight but I had lunch at the bar and went upstairs later for a pool party. I was told they have a Drag brunch here sometimes, sounds fun. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, very vibrant. Bar service was great. Baqr food was ok. We had Palmer assist us, she was very nice. The Gm checked in on us and he was very chill and accommodating. All the staff were on their game, while still seeming genuinely happy. That seemed nice. Upstairs by the pool was a restaurant and a bar on the other side. Nice views. I would recommend.

I love virgin as a company and knew that I had to stay at one of their hotels for my birthday before sailing off on my virgin cruise and I was highly impressed! I booked a suite and it was one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. Checking in was so easy and we got there in the middle of the night. The staff was so helpful taking our bags to our room for us and giving us all the info and rundown. There is plenty of street parking nearby. The elevator has this beautiful red light, perfect for taking pictures and setting that signature virgin mood. This hotel is so well decorated and photo worthy. Our suite was amazing, with fantastic views from our wrap around balcony, a literal shower room with multiple shower heads and benches, double vanity, the softest bed, and plenty of living space. We also ordered breakfast and enjoyed our eggs Benedict and Texas shaped waffle. There is a beautiful "rooftop" pool and outdoor area, as well as a gym, conference rooms, cafe, room service etc. The service here is excellent, the ambience and feng shui is worth the price and visit. Do not miss out on this beautiful opportunity to get away and treat yourself!

Even though I was an half an hour late from the time slot I purchased, I was seated with my group. This little pop up is very christmasy and cute. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lot photo opportunities. The drinks are all Mariah Carey Christmas themed and the food is delicious. The wait staff were also helpful and friendly, we were given great suggestions for food and drinks. We were there during our purchased time period, glad we opted for an 5:30p time slot we left around 7:30, as we were walking out we noticed how busy it was about to be.

Perfect place for a quick staycation and date night. The Virgin Hotel's central location makes it easy to enjoy all that Dallas has to offer. For us, it was the ideal spot for a staycation. Everything we needed was either on-site or just a short distance away. I would recommend The Crown Block for brunch or Drake's for Dinner (make a reservation). The staff made our stay very pleasant . From the check-in to the restaurant's room service. The food is a bit pricey but it's tasty! They also left a personalized card to wish us a Happy Anniversary! Nice !! If you're looking for a fantastic staycation spot or a memorable date night experience, Virgin Hotel Dallas should be at the top of your list. We have stayed here at least 3 times so far. The ultimate escape without having to leave town. We'll definitely be back for another staycation soon!

For the value, this hotel is AMAZING. It truly gives a "5 star experience" from the moment you pull up. I was greeted and the concierge immediately grabbed my suitcase for me and carried it up. They open the door for you every time and really make you feel valued. I booked through Amex and let me say, the benefits were AMAZING. The $100 credit could be used on anything (including alcohol and at the pool), and they gave $60 a day for breakfast to be used at the coffee shop, restaurant, or room service. One of the biggest things that stood out at this hotel vesus others is their car service. We could call anytime and get a ride to/from the hotel complimentary (make sure to tip the drivers though!). It was truly wonderful, they have beautiful cars to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius (we chose the black Escalade). That offering alone really made this hotel a luxurious experience. The pool was great as well. I will say, we went on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and were able to get 2 loungers with umbrella. I did notice that by Noon, all the loungers were full, so you might want to keep that in mind if you are hoping to grab a spot. Overall 10/10 experience, cannot recommend enough!! Also the hotel is very adult vibed and caters to couples, it was great.

Petey was our bartender at the Saint Nick's Suite Escape pop up and he made this experience phenomenal. He was so personable, listened well and ensured each drink was made to perfection! I don't think I'll make it back before the pop up is over this year, but I hope y'all bring it back next year as it was so fun to enjoy this view while sipping on some of the best cocktails!!

First time at the Virgin Hotel, and I attended for a Mariah Carey-themed experience being held there. The hotel entrance was beautiful, and the staff were welcoming. We were directed to the restaurant/café where the event was taking place. Upon arrival, we checked in with the host, and entry was only allowed with a ticket or reservation. The $20 prepaid fee granted access and included one free sample cocktail. The space was beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme and had a few Mariah Carey trinkets, but it didn't stand out much from a typical holiday setup. Parking, however, was a big issue--limited and inconvenient, especially if you're just attending the restaurant. This was frustrating and added unnecessary stress to the visit. Once seated, we ordered food, and our server, Janai, was exceptional! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided attentive service with excellent recommendations. Thank you, Janai, for making the dining experience enjoyable. I ordered the "Uncommon Burger with Truffle Fries" and the "Make My Wish Come True Martini." Both the burger and martini were outstanding--10/10 for flavor and presentation! The truffle fries, while decent, were a bit underwhelming--7/10. While I enjoyed the food and service, I was disappointed by the lack of a true "Mariah Carey experience." There wasn't much that made it feel unique or immersive beyond the decor. Additionally, the pricing felt excessive: the $20 entry fee, the cost of food, and an automatic service charge (gratuity) on top of two separate sales tax charges. Overall, while the dining and food experience was pleasant, the parking challenges and lack of a true themed experience make it unlikely I'd return for any future event. Thank you, Virgin Hotel, for the experience.

I had a great relaxing stay here. I like the whole ambiance at a virgin hotel. I like the deep red elevators. I like the red doors. I love the big windows that also black out for sleep. The shower was quality. Everything is nice and clean. Service every day was nice. The lobby is themed and classy. Relaxing.

Parking? Is it all valet, nightly charge? Other parking options?

There is valet and there is an over night self pay parking lot right next door. There is limited street parking that might get you towed.

Do the rooms have a fridge?

    Yes they do

We are considering staying next weekend...are the pools super crowded? Is social distancing compromised if we are planning on hanging out by the pool? Anything to know if the pool is the focus of our stay? :)

We stayed here for 4 nights and they always had "private events" so we were denied access to the pool and rooftop. So disappointing. We couldn't use the amenities after paying $1700!! Lower your expectations!!

There's lots of homeless people outside and not safe in my opinion. Just beware when booking. There wasn't many highly rated restaurants near Omni hotel, had to drive to places. They also host lots of events outside the hotel on their lawn. Hotel is nice. Staffs are super polite and trained. Everything is clean and super decorative. Hotel has restaurants on the first floor, they have small pool, small gym, and spa which you have to pay for. I stayed for two weeks and needed my clothes washed. The hotel does have a service where they send it out to get it washed. But it was insanely expensive. To wash a shirt was around $10. It would have cost me like $150-$200 for a week worth of clothes. I drove 20 min to the nearest coin laundry and spent couple dollars. Would love to see coin laundry in the hotel. Gym: The gym has dumbbells that only go up to 75lb. No barbells. The machine to do back, arms, etc were uncomfortable to use. Pool: Pool is on the same floor as the gym. Can see downtown Dallas. I think it's infinity pool(?) but it's pointing to the hotel building rather than facing downtown Dallas. Room: Room was super nice. The A/C is amazing, works very well. As soon as I got back to room, I set room to 62F. Then to 68F when i got cold. I stayed for 14 days and found out on my last day that there's a fridge hidden in the cabinet. I was super upset about that. The soaps, shampoo, etc are nice. The staff gives you new set even if you are using them and not empty. Price: My rate was $170 through business portal. So probably cheaper. For 14 days (13 nights), I paid little over $3000 due to various taxes and parking your rental car is like $30(?) a day. Really nice hotel, fast elevators, has gym/spa, near freeway and in Downtown Dallas. I just didn't like the environment as soon as you leave the hotel, feels unsafe.

If you want to commemorate Tina Turner, nothing beats it. Lorenzo Hotel, let's stay together. The creative, quirky, and poetic 237-room boutique is known for being an eclectic and vibrant art gallery with a different theme for each floor. Floor 1 is a mix-up with Shakespeare, Alice in Wonderland, Poe, and Einstein. Floor 3 is Literature & Journalism (if you like old printing presses this may be your type). Floor 9 is Pop Art (bold and graphic). Floor 10 is Cinematic History (Hollywood glamour). Floor 11 is The Tina Turner Tribute. Floor 12: Skyline / Skye Ballroom event level with massive floor-to-ceiling windows. We stayed in Floor 7, which is "Literary Noir" (drama and mystery). We had a broken, blinking Neon sign, a wobbly ceiling fan, broken blinds, matchbooks full of phone numbers, an unfinished manuscript, an ashtray full of cigarettes, and a dead body in the tub. Not really. But we did have a giant seven foot "desk lamp", a paintbrush and frame above our bed, and and a carpet made from Hamlet quotes in Room 704. Dining: Hamilton's is the main on-site restaurant and bar, with a host or hostess in the lobby smiling at us when we walked in. Taco Enzo and Kolache Korner are in the refurbished shipping containers in the massive parking lot. The lobby store is small and not cheap but it beats a vending machine, especially if you want an ice cream sandwich or fingernail clippers. The "South Beach" pool is saltwater, so it's softer on the skin, eyes, and hair and avoids red eyes, green hair, and pool smell. Location: Though the Cedars district is the industrial historic heart of the Dallas arts scene, it's a bit gritty and has *freeway noise*, with gentrification friction, being a patchwork of high-end luxury lofts sitting right next to dilapidated industrial warehouses, making it feel half vibrant but half abandoned. The Walkability Score is 73, thanks to massive railroad tracks, the I-30, current construction, and inconsistent sidewalks. Be warned this isn't a tree-lined, window-shopping destination like Uptown or Bishop. Finding food, a drink, and even a movie will be much easier than groceries or a pharmacy (though drugs is a different story). Service: Everyone was awesome, especially Precious, who was, like her name Precious. That explains why they don't hire Dicks.

About the Hotel I don't know the history of the hotel but I can tell it's a well kept older hotel. I like how they kept some elements of its legacy. The lighting, the mail chute and more, add to the charm of this place. The lobby is a modern twist with an emphasis on audio entertainment. There are a lot of record albums on display as art. There's a small walk up cafe for quick bites and drinks and you can take a comfy seat in the lobby to enjoy your snack. From the lobby, you can peer down into and access the Toussaint restaurant and bar. About our Room Our room (603) was spacious and functional. It included a king bed, 2 large side tables, a round bistro table with one chair, a large flat screen TV above a long counter to drop some of your stuff onto. It had a large wardrobe for hanging clothing plus a valuable safe. It had a bar with glassware and coffee service (Keurig). The bathroom was spacious and functional, though the sliding entry door did leave a large gap, taking a bit of privacy away from the commode area. If there was a con for this room, I'd say it was lighting and lack of outlets on one side of the bed. The room did have lighting, but it was very dim. Convenience We really loved the location of the Saint Elm. It was nearly next door to the Majestic Theater where we were going for a concert. Its time for "Story-time with Adam Cole Baby" (don't sue me TK, I'm working class and can't afford the lawyers) The TLDR: This is a serviceable hotel with great front desk and that's about it. I wouldn't feel comfortable with any single female friends/family to stay there by themselves. The very first interaction I had in Dallas, the VERY FIRST was a *ahem* "lady of the night as I was getting out of my Lyft and approaching the front doors of the hotel. She walked directly in my path, looked me in the eye, and with no warning said: "For $50 you can do whatever you want to my asshole" Do you know how hard it is to make me speechless? I muttered and stuttered my way past the woman to check in. Homeless people and working girl are a REAL problem here. In my eight days there every time I left the hotel I ran into one group or the other, some times both. I check in, go to my room, do a quick inspection and in the shower I find.....black mold!!!! An easy enough fix I think, I go downstairs report it to the front desk, go off to the market for supplies, and come back. The front desk guy tells me that he's made a concoction of sorts that gets rid of mold and he's left it in my room for me to apply it in the shower. A VERY WTF moment!! Bro I don't work here, and don't know enough about this chemistry experiment you've cooked up. I go back downstairs and they finally give me a new room. I'm not much of a complainer and I have a clean new room so let's just sleep and see what the next day bring. I wake up and decide to hit the breakfast. I grab some undercooked bacon and potatoes, as I'm grabbing juice I notice the employees were closing everything down (five minutes early but I get it) the really weird/annoying thing was that they were turning the lights off on all the people still eating. It felt like last call at a seedy dive bar. Like I said, I understand wanting to go home but turning the lights out on your guests was a complete and utter FAIL. My last notch in the complain column is that the building itself could really use some attention. When it was raining the ceiling by the front door was flooding like a TLC song. The elevators never seemed clean either. So if I'm going all Final Justice on my review why did I give it a three star and not a one? All the positives come from the front desk agents. Jasmine was the best agent I've had the pleasure to deal with in almost a decade. She was warm, welcoming, and quick as a whip. Every day that I came downstairs she had a different suggestion on where I should go and what I should eat. Honestly if I was building a management team from the ground up, I would poach Jasmine in a heartbeat. So yes on the strength of one employee a hotel gained two stars. Otherwise I can't really recommend stay here until they make some major changes
