We are staying at the penthouse suite and it's one of the nicer suits we've been to in a long time. 1400sf of beautiful decor, amazing views, great shower (I love good water pressure) great bed, beautiful living room, 2 bathrooms, everything is so nicely put together, the service is amazing right from the start, the front desk receptionist was so nice and accommodating, so was the bell captain, and everyone else that we have interacted with, everything all around w just fantastic. Very highly recommend! We did not eat at the hotel restaurant as there are top tier restaurants all around this district and everything is walking distance. The hotel also offers free car service which we did not use as we preferred to walk in this beautiful sunny weather. read more

Amazing hotel Really hip. Live music at bar and outside by pool. Really fun for a weekend staycation. A little warm downstairs in the lobby bar and restaurant area. Not sure why The room is lovely with a full bar and stocked fridge along with other coffee and teas Robes and toiletries are in the dressing area that can be closed off from sleeping area as needed. The shower is pretty and clean with a powerful shower. There is also a vanity table with its own lit mirror that was perfect for getting ready The gym and its equipment was fantastic. The only thing I would request from management is that they can get some machines for legs. Honestly, I think this property is uber cute. The vibes are great during the summer...but the rest of the year can be underwhelming. Definitely a hotspot for nightlife, so be prepared for that. This place was very nice. I didn't stay overnight but I had lunch at the bar and went upstairs later for a pool party. I was told they have a Drag brunch here sometimes, sounds fun. The hotel is aesthetically pleasing, very vibrant. Bar service was great. Baqr food was ok. We had Palmer assist us, she was very nice. The Gm checked in on us and he was very chill and accommodating. All the staff were on their game, while still seeming genuinely happy. That seemed nice. I love virgin as a company and knew that I had to stay at one of their hotels for my birthday before sailing off on my virgin cruise and I was highly impressed! I booked a suite and it was one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in. Checking in was so easy and we got there in the middle of the night. The staff was so helpful taking our bags to our room for us and giving us all the info and rundown. There is plenty of street parking nearby. The elevator has this beautiful red light, perfect for taking pictures and setting that signature virgin mood. This hotel is so well decorated and photo worthy. Our suite was amazing, with fantastic views from our wrap around balcony, a literal shower room with multiple shower heads and benches, double vanity, the softest bed, and plenty of living space. We also ordered breakfast and enjoyed our eggs Benedict and Texas shaped waffle. There is a beautiful "rooftop" pool and outdoor area, as well as a gym, conference rooms, cafe, room service etc. The service here is excellent, the ambience and feng shui is worth the price and visit. To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to formally express my extreme dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Virgin Hotels Dallas from April 12-13. Upon arrival and throughout my stay, the hotel did not have functioning air conditioning. This is completely unacceptable, especially given the standard and pricing your establishment claims to uphold. At no point prior to my stay was I properly informed of this issue, nor was there any adequate solution offered once I arrived. Because of this, I was forced to find alternative accommodations at my own expense. This resulted in me paying additional money out-of-pocket after already being charged for what was supposed to be a full week's stay with your hotel. I should not have to incur extra costs due to a failure on your end to provide basic, essential amenities. Beyond my own experience, I can only imagine how your employees who are working long, demanding shifts are being expected to operate in these conditions without proper air conditioning. It raises serious concerns about both customer care and employee welfare. This entire situation reflects a significant lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. I trusted your brand to provide a certain level of comfort and service, and that trust was clearly misplaced. I have no choice but to escalate this further and share my experience publicly. Even though I was an half an hour late from the time slot I purchased, I was seated with my group. This little pop up is very christmasy and cute. All the staff are very helpful and friendly. There are lot photo opportunities. The drinks are all Mariah Carey Christmas themed and the food is delicious. The wait staff were also helpful and friendly, we were given great suggestions for food and drinks. Perfect place for a quick staycation and date night. The Virgin Hotel's central location makes it easy to enjoy all that Dallas has to offer. For us, it was the ideal spot for a staycation. Everything we needed was either on-site or just a short distance away. I would recommend The Crown Block for brunch or Drake's for Dinner (make a reservation). The staff made our stay very pleasant . From the check-in to the restaurant's room service. The food is a bit pricey but it's tasty! They also left a personalized card to wish us a Happy Anniversary! Nice !! If you're looking for a fantastic staycation spot or a memorable date night experience, Virgin Hotel Dallas should be at the top of your list. We have stayed here at least 3 times so far. I stayed at this location over the weekend for a nice staycation, and went to dine at the restaurant and enjoy some coffee and there was no AC. For the price I paid for my room and expecting a luxury experience, this definitely fell short. I have stayed at the Vegas location and thoroughly enjoyed myself. It's sad that there is not the same effort at the Dallas location and I will not be booking again. Thankfully the staff was sweet or this would be a complete wash. For the value, this hotel is AMAZING. It truly gives a "5 star experience" from the moment you pull up. I was greeted and the concierge immediately grabbed my suitcase for me and carried it up. They open the door for you every time and really make you feel valued. I booked through Amex and let me say, the benefits were AMAZING. The $100 credit could be used on anything (including alcohol and at the pool), and they gave $60 a day for breakfast to be used at the coffee shop, restaurant, or room service. One of the biggest things that stood out at this hotel vesus others is their car service. We could call anytime and get a ride to/from the hotel complimentary (make sure to tip the drivers though!). It was truly wonderful, they have beautiful cars to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius (we chose the black Escalade). That offering alone really made this hotel a luxurious experience. The pool was great as well. I will say, we went on a Saturday morning around 10:30am and were able to get 2 loungers with umbrella. I did notice that by Noon, all the loungers were full, so you might want to keep that in mind if you are hoping to grab a spot. Overall 10/10 experience, cannot recommend enough!! Petey was our bartender at the Saint Nick's Suite Escape pop up and he made this experience phenomenal. He was so personable, listened well and ensured each drink was made to perfection! First time at the Virgin Hotel, and I attended for a Mariah Carey-themed experience being held there. The hotel entrance was beautiful, and the staff were welcoming. We were directed to the restaurant/café where the event was taking place. Upon arrival, we checked in with the host, and entry was only allowed with a ticket or reservation. The $20 prepaid fee granted access and included one free sample cocktail. The space was beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme and had a few Mariah Carey trinkets, but it didn't stand out much from a typical holiday setup. Parking, however, was a big issue--limited and inconvenient, especially if you're just attending the restaurant. This was frustrating and added unnecessary stress to the visit. Once seated, we ordered food, and our server, Janai, was exceptional! She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided attentive service with excellent recommendations. Thank you, Janai, for making the dining experience enjoyable. I ordered the "Uncommon Burger with Truffle Fries" and the "Make My Wish Come True Martini." Both the burger and martini were outstanding--10/10 for flavor and presentation! The truffle fries, while decent, were a bit underwhelming--7/10. While I enjoyed the food and service, I was disappointed by the lack of a true "Mariah Carey experience." There wasn't much that made it feel unique or immersive beyond the decor. Additionally, the pricing felt excessive: the $20 entry fee, the cost of food, and an automatic service charge (gratuity) on top of two separate sales tax charges. Overall, while the dining and food experience was pleasant, the parking challenges and lack of a true themed experience make it unlikely I'd return for any future event. Hmm this is interesting and decided not to stay here because it felt like too much of an adventure and after weeks of traveling for work, I wanted something a little bit more plain and simple. So I stayed down the street but came here for three days for a conference. The hotel is a different vibe. It's very red and pink and full of floral arrangements and is about a celebration of intimacy I'd say. Perfect for a romantic getaway probably not idea for a conference. Either way, the facilities are pretty great and well maintained. Staff are hustling to make the experience a great one. I saw the inside of some of one of the rooms and it's certainly set up for intimacy. You can tell a lot of thought went into this business from the rooms to the cafe to the restaurant which had lovely desserts and drinks. Chilled by the 4th floor pool and outside terrace. Wasn't very lively but the ambiance was relaxing. The room we did our conference was okay at best. Nothing to write home about. The two screens were far apart which left the people in the middle of the room to strain to see. And the sound system kept going in and out. Had desserts and drinks in the onsite restaurant and that was a joy. The wait staff were top notch, perhaps because it wasn't a lot of people there and they had the capacity to chat and be friendly. Cleaning crew also gets two thumbs up from me. Still only a 3 star because of prices and the vibe you get when you walk in plus the conference room was barely okay. read more

Overall I really did like the Virgin! The layout of the hotel room was really nice and I like that there's a sliding door to separate the bathroom area from the sleeping area. It was a good size and didn't feel cramped. The fridge in the room was nice touch. The whole hotel had very eccentric style which I appreciated! The bell boys were really on top of it, grabbing your luggage, opening car doors, opening the hotel doors, etc. They were really nice and accommodating and I felt they deserve a shout out! The reason I'm docking 2 stars is because hotel staff seem not to understand how the do not disturb button works. I'm very low maintenance and don't require my room to be cleaned everyday. I had the do not disturb turned on. I was taking a nap on my first day in when I got a phone call from the front desk asking if we needed house-keeping. This seriously makes no sense to me. I was a tad enraged that my nap was interrupted. Then on the morning of check-out, I was still sleeping (this was 9a) when house-keeping started knocking on the door. When I said I wasn't checked out yet, housekeeping asked when I was planning to. Again my do not disturb is on. House-keeping single handed ruined my stay at the Virgin and has left a horrible taste in my mouth. I'd rather stay somewhere else that gets that fact that I do not want to be disturbed when the sign is on. read more

I had no idea there was a Virgin Hotel in Dallas. Well, I had no idea there was one in Texas... thought it was just a "Vegas thing." But I found a great rate for a work trip, and it was a great stay! First, you can't beat the location in the "fashion district." And there's a lot of street parking. The hotel offers a fun and "boutiquey" vibe and decor... and they offered me a $25 F&B credit for any of their restaurants. My room was perfect: a comfy bed, good spa products, nice hotel amenities. Our room was really spacious and extremely clean. It also had a great view! I love the aesthetics throughout the entire hotel. They also have a coffee shop and a bar/restaurant connected to it. We enjoyed the close proximity of those. They also offer a valet service for parking. That is the only option for parking other than street and the back lot if you find a spot. It is $46/night for valet however, it is important to note they offered to drive you to anywhere within a 3 mile radius on their car should you choose to use their valet option. read more

Not a bad place, and would probably stay here again. I will say that for the price, there are a few things that need attention. -First, the ice and water machines are broken on most floors. I had to go down two flights to get ice and water -The hallways and elevators could use a little TLC. Fairly dirty. -The bar staff... hit or miss. Empty bar and a couple times I sat there for up to 10min without even a hello, while other people walked right up and got served. The room was great. Loved the vibe, like the separation between the bedroom and bathroom. Very modern lighting, extremely comfortable bed, and very clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and kind, and the door service and valet was incredible. They offer free rides within a certain radius and that was very cool. The lobby, restaurant, and bar are also very nice. The food portions at the bar are insanely huge (get the fries, it can feed 5 people I swear). Paid quite a bit per night for this hotel. The first night the TV did not work at all. Then I had to ask the front desk to work on it and go into my room. Thank goodness it did work the next day. I forgot to remove the do not disturb from my door in my room did not get cleaned after the first night. This last night it did get clean, but they left dirty dishes on the counter and did not empty the trash. We had dinner at the hotel bar. The last night in the bartender was horrible. Took quite a while to get any service and then it took a while to get our food and the bill I like the hotel, however, my bed was also lopsided. It needed to be turned. I've stayed at this location twice and two other Virgins and always have a great time. I'm glad they finally have a loyalty program. Even if you're a local, you can still enjoy some of the amenities without paying for a room. The Commons Club is a great place for a meal. You can purchase a day pass for the swimming pool. The Funny Library has a coffee shop where you can just hang out and look through the various coffee table books on subjects such as modern Texas home architecture, Los Angeles, Andy Warhol, and Queen Elizabeth. We hung out here for a couple of hours after brunch while waiting to travel back home. My only complaint is that each Virgin Hotel the staff would place a Snoozy sheep squeeze toy in each room and I had started collecting them since each hotel has one in a different color. Both times Dallas has not had one in the room both times. Last year I asked at the front desk about it and they happened to have one but it was slightly damaged. I kept it anyway. read more

I recently went to the hotel to enjoy the amenities using a Resort Pass with a friend. We had an amazing time. It was a little windy and the food and beverage manager was very accommodating because the umbrella was not being very cooperative on our reserved daybed. He upgraded us to a cabana! The food was great. What made our stay even more pleasant was our waitress Cecily.She made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we enjoyed our pool time right down to the spicy margaritas. I came in here to attend a conference and stayed for two nights. This must have been a great hotel in its prime but now it needs some TLC. The room that I stayed in was smaller than usual and thus cramped, but had good technology set up especially with the way they manage the room lights - very modern and sophisticated. However, the bathroom and the shower stalls were a bit dirty. The food served during the conference was pretty decent and the service was very good. The check-in into the hotel was rather quick although the checkout took a long time and since they don't have a separate concierge section - if you store your luggage with them, then you have to stand in the same line where the people that are checking in and checking out are standing, adding to delays. Net net not a bad experience but definitely there is potential for improvement. read more

While driving cross country I booked a room to take a break and looked on Hotel tonight where this room was only $200. The virgin hotel is located in the design district of Dallas and it is very cute. They have valet but you can also park on the street. The woman at the front desk was really friendly and just started working there but she handled everything like a pro and even upgrade us, thank you! The amenities were amazing (coffee shop, pool, gym) just the jacuzzi was a bummer because it wasn't very hot at all... I think something was broken. Our hotel room was clean, spacious and the shower was so nice (it was hard to get out). We didn't have enough time to check out the restaurant inside but we had rodeo goat and it was yummy! I've always wanted to do a staycation at the Virgin Hotel. It is very close to downtown and near a lot of great restaurants. So, I was excited when we got a chance to stay there. We were able to upgrade our room once we checked in. Let me say it did not disappoint. We had a King Suite with a view of Reunion Tower. The room had a huge window in the living room area and the bedroom. We got to see the sun set and rise from our room. The bathroom was HUGE, especially the shower. The bathroom had two sinks, a separate sink and door for the toilet and a round shaped tub. I absolute love tubs so I had some nice bubble bathes each night. The closet has a vanity area with a great vanity mirror to do your makeup. So, ladies your foundation will be on point! The lights in the closet are motion detected so you are never in the dark. Let's talk about the bed....It was the most comfortable bed I've slept in at a hotel. It feels like a warm hug. The pillows were high quality, people that enjoy a good night sleep understands what I mean. I worked out at the gym while I was there. The gym had high quality equipment and the cardio machines have a view of the pool. The gym was spacious and had great weight equipment as well. So, if you like to workout check out the gym while you are there. We did happy hour the first night in the Common Club. The bartender was excellent, he made great drinks and suggested great appetizers. The only thing I would pass on is the Margarita Flatbread. It was not memorable. We also had room service for dinner one night and breakfast one morning. All the food was great and the service was quick. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and we will be back. read more

Oh Virgin Hotel, where do I even start?! As a designer I appreciate a good aesthetic probably more than the average bear. This hotel goes so beyond just a hotel and goes to straight visual Haven of absolute awesomeness. I literally could not stop taking pictures the entire time that I was there. Every place that I turned it was something interesting and visually diverse. I've got to know who designed this place! The entry to the hotel was its own awesome statement with bold lighting and bold funky wallpaper, interesting light features and cool carpet and desk. It really starts the whole conversation. Next you have this really cool quirky coffee shop that has its own cool moments with feather light fixtures, bizarre seating and quirky accent walls. Then you step into the cool sleek bar that has these really Chic moments all over the place. There was a space tucked away the had a really cool '50s vibe going on, mod lighting and steel metal work around the bar, pink velvet chairs blue velvet sofas, oh my! And the walk to the bathroom, takes you through the beautiful mod dining room and into the Hall of awesome. Each toilet room had its own Rockstar on the wall (inquiring minds required I checked them all out) super funky red walls and bold flooring. So COOL! The bartender was very friendly and recommended I check out the 4th floor and boy am I glad I did! The pool deck was so beautifully laid out and so many cool moments! The artwork was unique, the bar was wrapped in greenery and the open bar walks out into a beautiful landscape of downtown Dallas. There is a cool bar that is flanked with cozy cabanas, conversation seating throughout with colorful and unique seating. Could this place be any cooler?! I can absolutely not wait to come back and enjoy this hotel with friends! I wish I had more time to sit and relax and enjoy it all. I most certainly will be back! read more

We were going around Dallas checking out holiday pop-ups and stopped at The Virgin Hotel first. I can't tell you how their pop-up is since we did not go inside because they were charging a $20 admission fee just to look at some decorations. We wouldn't have minded paying the admission if it was being donated to a charity and not just because they're greedy. Since we were already there, we decided to have a couple of their holiday drinks in their library bar. The drinks came at a hefty price, but they were tasty. But, the gist of my review is regarding our waitress Janai. The service we received is a prime example of why a gratuity should not automatically be charged to a check. The service goes out the door when they've already gotten their money. When she serviced the drinks, she spilled the drinks all over the tray. And proceeded to go ahead and set the spilled sticky drinks on the table for us. When she returned to collect the empty glasses, there was a twig that was in one of the drinks and when she picked it up, she shook it and got the drink all over my sweater and the table. She returned with some napkins and handed them to me expecting me to clean up the mess. She didn't bother to wipe down the table and just left it the way it was. I should've called for a manager and demanded they remove the tip but at that point we just wanted to get out of there. Managers take note: retrain your severs to still give good service, even after they've received their tip. read more

I will say that there are areas for improvement, but overall this was a very nice hotel in a nice area and the staff, for the most part is courteous; the best of the crew is chase at the bar. $550/night for a hotel with zero wifi, zero tv, and no ability to cast/mirror from device to the tv. AC won't allow you to run the fan on, just to generate some static noise. Even the cheapest hotels allow guests to turn fan "on"/"off"/"auto", but not this place. Ordered drinks as room service, never delivered. Requested maintenance for wifi, never arrived. I can't say the service was bad because there simply isn't any service. 1-2 employees socializing but absolutely not acknowledging or engaging guests.
