Shops like this are rare nowadays, so it's fun to shop and support a small shop like this to keep it going strong. Items such as posters, records, CDs, stickers, and other items. I purchased numerous movie posters, which I had framed and will hang in our home office. The owner is very friendly, outgoing, and enjoys chatting with customers. Prices are very affordable, and the selection of items is both fun to browse and satisfying to purchase. Note: pictures and videos are not allowed inside the shop for several reasons, which is totally understandable.

This place is HUGE, but really crowded vendor booths, selling lots of different art, collectibles and memorabilia. Hubs found a couple of booths with well stocked, easy to search comic books, so he was happy. I found lots of beautiful pieces of MCM glass, but still not THE piece that I know will make my heart happy. A Fiesta dinnerware collectors dream! Many pieces here at prices similar to what I've seen elsewhere. A LOT of cool lamps, chandeliers and other types of lighting fixtures, including some 50s Moss lamps that feature a spinning element on the base. In all my years of "antiquing" this is the first I've seen in a booth. Very interesting. Some booths had sales posted, but it seems one booth in particular had items we collect priced MUUUUCH higher than they're worth, maybe to still get the price they want after "discount." Hmmm.... This store really insists you look EVERYWHERE! So many items hanging from the ceiling or stacked up high. Some booths looked like they came straight outta someone's home from an estate sale. We managed to make it through the whole shop in about an hour, but not without a few dizzying turns. This may not be the best place for very young shoppers that like to touch everything. Reminds me of my mom telling us 'Lead arms, glued to your sides!' when we would have to pass through the fine China and crystal department at Bullock's. I think they should expand hours but they don't want to and that's fine. I never insulted you but you insulted me. Closed when I came twice. I echo reviewers, Steve is the nicest guy you could ask for. He knows "his" books. He knows vintage books, and as said he knows where to find the author/book, record, jersey or other collectible. Just a fun place to visit, relax and talk. All good even if you are not a Los Angeles sports fan. Steve loves and listens to the games on the radio, a true old-fashioned fan. A+++ book experience. I highly recommend, we visit Bubbas Books every time we're in Idyllwild.
