I appreciate that he gently encourages me but is also patient and understanding. Almost every lesson he finds some subtle adjustment to my posture or technique that would have hampered my development left unchecked. I feel Tim genuinely enjoys teaching and thrills in my success when I'm able to finally play something I've worked hard at improving. Playing duets with him has been really fun, and helps me hear the tune while playing and work on my timing, cadence and listening while playing. I was pleasantly surprised, after our initial email exchange, that not only was he affordable, but he was also friendly, and polite. After our initial consult, I felt at ease with him, and knew that with his help, I could once again enjoy playing the piano!
