My review may blend in with the hundreds of other 5 star reviews for Mike but I really hope you if you are wondering if you found the right DJ that you get the opportunity to read our review. We just had our wedding 5/26/19, we were blessed with such a perfect day start to finish with Mike. From day 1 of signing the paper work with Mike to over a year & a half later, Mike was there if we needed anything at all. He gave so much wedding advice unrelated to solely DJ material. He gave us so many great ideas and tips that we used on the big day. Mike is always readily available to talk, you can call you text his cell anytime of any day he always gets right back, that is if he doesn't happen to answer after a couple rings which he always does! I could go on and on about the quality of service he provides, he never has a bad day, at least you would never know it. Mike has the most important job of the day. Remember that when you are searching for your DJ, he keeps the guests entertained and happy, he keeps the songs flowing and transitions them so perfectly into the next, he has the most amazing speaking voice and gets the crowed pumped up and knows just how and when to make all the perfect introductions. Mike made everything so seamless, he would come up to Dave & I prior to the formalities & give us a quick update on the timeline, and always finished everything with "I've already let the Manny know" (Our day of coordinator) I had not one single worry...he ran my day so smoothly along with my day of planner. He is so much more than a DJ. I remember being in the bridal suite after the ceremony before my guests came back down from cocktail hour to see my beautiful reception space done up.. I found out there was an issue with my back drop (completely nothing to do with Mike) He must have been informed through conversation with my day of coordinator, Mike immediately rectified the situation which I had no idea what going on out there outside my bridal suite...When Dave my husband came in to tell me the news about the backdrop Mike was right there and said not to worry, he added his own up lighting to light up my backdrop and probably made it more beautiful then it even would have been had it worked out the other way. Let me tell you one last thing, if not the MOST impressive way that Mike saved our day...Dave & I can't stop talking about it, this really proves you need someone with years of experience to have handled what he did for us. We took forever to pick a first dance song, in fact we chose is less than 24 hours before the wedding, Mike didn't flinch. I texted Mike telling him the song, fast forward to the next day, minutes before we were to walk out to do introductions. Mike was with us in the hallway to firm up last second details about timing when we were walking out, we decided we wanted to practice our first dance in the hallway one last time before going out (thank god). Mike played the song that I told him we were dancing to, 20 seconds in I realized something was wrong, our timing was off, Dave & I started to panic, my whole dance was going to be ruined. I quickly pulled up the version we had been practicing to off YouTube, Mike immediately realized the version online was cut down and edited, it was not the full song nor did it even start at the beginning. I had no idea! With my guests waiting, Mike completely kept me calm, he played both versions several times and listened so closely even though it was so had to hear them with everyone cheering in the other room. I was in such a panic there was no way I would have been able to figure out where the problem was, especially under such pressure. He immediately listened for clues in the song (which had most no lyrics at the beginning, making it more difficult for him.) Mike found out where the edits where made and where they now needed to be made to his original version. He ran back to his laptop and in less than 5 min Mike made on the spot edits/cuts on his own software and played my exact song the way we knew it and practiced it to. Dave & I who had listened to that song 5 million times by now could not even handle how to fix the issue let alone under the pressure, but Mike so calmly listened and fixed it in 5 minutes. There is NO way another DJ could have done that without his level of experience. We are forever grateful to him and the wedding experience he provided us from day one until I do day!!!! I cannot say enough GREAT things about Mike & Music Man Entertainment! From the minute we reached out to see if he was available to DJ our wedding, he was ready to rock! Our first phone call made us so happy and excited. Mike is the most enthusiastic guy, is there for you for whatever you need or any questions you have through out the entire planning process! He is so easy to work with and really wants to ensure your day is exactly what you imagined. Before the wedding we had our final phone call to go over the run down of all music choices and timeline. Mike had it all laid out for us on a document and made it super easy to fill in. This also helped us not to forget anything! The wedding day was truly AMAZING! Mike nailed the ceremony music, cocktail hour music, and of course the entire reception! I even wanted two songs for certain things and Mike made sure he timed them PERFECTLY. He got the crowd going during our introductions and had everyone pumped up the whole time. He made sure he announced anything we needed, and any details the guests needed to know. Our guests seriously were on the dance floor ALL night! It was packed! Everyone kept coming up to us saying this was the best wedding, the music never stopped and every song was the best to dance to. We are ECSTATIC that we chose Mike as our DJ. Music is one of the most important parts of a wedding and he absolutely KILLED IT!!! My sister is getting married next week and she is also using Music Man Entertainment, so we are PUMPED to dance all night again. I HIGHLY recommended him! We will be using him for any future events we have coming up! We also had the mirror photo booth which was a big hit with all the guests! People would not stop saying how cool it was! It takes 3 photos, provides so many props, and at the end of the night they put together a whole photo album of all the pictures taken for us! It was amazing! They also provided us with a personalized logo which was so cool, all the guests loved! And a slideshow of our pictures that was playing during dinner and speeches which was such a nice touch!!! If we had to review Mike Garrasi (Music Man Entertainment and who DJed our April wedding) in two words those two words would be "truly spectacular"! Mike, without question, has a natural talent when it comes to DJing. And, that natural talent comes beaming through in all aspects when working with Mike. When you have Mike as your DJ, you just know you have Mike in your corner and things are going to go as you hoped and as you planned because he just gets it and he's on it! Mike makes sure there is excellent communication before and during the wedding. Mike makes sure he is always there to answer any questions and address any pre-wedding concerns such as music and timing with bridal processional and recessional, etc. This not only keeps your mind at ease, but it definitely keeps things running smoothly on your big day. Not-to-mention, his confidence, positive attitude and upbeat personality is such a pleasure to be around. We were so incredibly happy with Mike and so were our guests! He kept everyone on the dance floor until the very end! The DJ is SUCH an important part of a wedding (or any big celebration) and I felt like Mike was our knight in shining armor when it came to keeping our guests happy and dancing. It was sheer luck that we ended up with Mike as our DJ and I would never use or recommend anyone but Mike Garrasi moving forward. On a side note, we decided to include the Photo Booth/Mirror, which was another excellent choice!! Mike and his crew (who were also wonderful!) literally handed us a photo album at the end of the night that genuinely captured so much fun and so many of our guests! Mike is amazing! He is professional in all aspects and extremely relatable. From the first moment I spoke on the phone with him I knew I wanted to hire him for our wedding. He took his time to get to know us, feel out our style as far as wedding and musical taste, and answered all questions (no matter how many times I asked). The weeks leading up to the wedding he ensured we understood how the flow of the wedding would go and that we had all music requests that we wanted. We had a pretty unusual request for seating music, but he totally came through we were so happy with the outcome! He also took the time to combine songs for the mother/son dance. He ensures he pronounces names of the bridal party correctly too. My maid of honor has a terribly hard last name to pronounce & she was so impressed he pronounced it correctly first time. Mike also took the time to check in with us throughout the wedding! He wanted to make sure we were feeling the music and that our night was going well. That was the icing on top of the cake for us. We also booked the photo booth and I cannot rave enough about that as well. The backdrop was gorgeous (lots of options to select), the props were also extremely fun, and the attendant was top notch. He didn't just ensure that the booth was running smoothly. He was interactive with ALL guests. He ensured that guests knew where to look for a great photo, how much time they had between poses, prop swap outs, and instructed how to sign a special message on the photos. I honestly can't say enough about Mike and his photo booth attendant. Seriously, don't waste any more time and book these guys. Mike was our DJ and photobooth vendor for our July 2021 wedding. To say he was incredible to work with was an understatement. We had to move our date because of COVID and Mike was extremely flexible, understanding, and easy to work with. Leading up to our wedding, Mike made sure to take two hours to have a consultation with us to make sure everything was perfect, down to the phonetic spelling of names and special requests. One of which was to play my late grandmothers favorite song and give her a shout out. It was a great way to do something happy to remember her life and legacy at our wedding. On the wedding day Mike arrived super early to set up- all of the music was FANTASTIC for the ceremony. After we mingled in cocktail hour Mike lined us up and dealt with our crazy family and friends like a pro! The flow of the intros, first dance, parent dances, speeches, into dinner and cake cutting was seamless. I didn't ever have to ask Mike to do anything. In fact he found us a couple times to remind us of important things coming next. Our amazing day wouldn't have been complete without him. The magic mirror photobooth was a huge hit! I love our photo book and guests loved the multiple print and texting option it had. The photobooth attendant was kind, patient, and was always there to guide people through signing pictures or retaking them if they didn't like how it turned out. Music Man Entertainment would get 10 stars from my husband and I if that was an option. We were so lucky to have Mike as our DJ at our wedding. He was so helpful to us all the days leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day. He helped to make sure everything went smoothly. We needed music at two locations (on top of a mountain and down in the lodge) and Mike was more than willing to set up at both locations. He had people on the dance floor before anybody even ate food!!! He went with the flow when we were running late and continued to play music for an extra half hour when we asked to extend, without a problem. He checked in occasionally throughout the night to make sure we had everything we needed and to see if he needed to be doing something. Our guests could have easily partied through the night and I am confidant Mike would have stayed as well. His photo booth mirror is so awesome and it pulled people in the entire night because of how fun and interactive it was. We are so grateful to have an awesome album from the photo booth and access to all of the photos as well. The gentlemen (I forget their names) from the mirror photo booth were also great to meet, interact and work with. They were super friendly and helpful to our guests. They went above and beyond to make sure the guests felt great. He provided uplighting for us too which was a great add-on! I couldn't imagine having anybody else as our DJ. We cannot rave about Mike and his team enough! From the very start, we loved every ounce of his service. Mike provides a very concise planning form that we were actually able to use as a guideline for our entire wedding planning process which may have been the greatest perk. He was very responsive to our ideas and music suggestions and helped us to coordinate these suggestions in a way to make our day PERFECT. The ease and helpfulness of the planning process alone were enough to give Mike 5 stars, but the service provided the day of really pushed it to the top. Mike was so attentive to us the entire night, checking in occasionally to make sure that the music fit our expectations and asking if we had any requests. He also orchestrated the movement of events seamlessly, keeping us updated along the way. He was a top-notch MC, helping to keep our guests engaged without being overbearing. We just loved his attitude and excitement and cannot rave about it enough. And to tie it all together, his music selection was out of this world. He kept our guests on the dance floor all night, with the venue practically having to pull us out of there at the end of the night. Our guests have been raving about the dance floor ever since. I wish I had some criticism, but I we really can't say anything bad about his service. Everything was PERFECT from start to finish. We booked Mike for our wedding in October and couldn't be happier with that decision. I had seen Mike DJ a bunch of parties before, be it school functions, friends and families weddings, or anniversary parties, and he always does such a great job. It was a no-brainer that he would be our first choice, and he lived up to all expectations and beyond. Throughout the whole process of planning, day of, and after, Mike was a genuinely caring guy who wanted us to have the best time we could. We asked what probably were pretty dumb, amateur questions, but he never made us feel bad and had a positive spin on everything. He was always happy to take a call from us to help us work out some details, or offer suggestions, or just to say "hey no worries, everyone's going to have a blast and that's what they'll all remember". During the reception itself, Mike had the music perfect for our tastes and the type of atmosphere we were looking for. He had the whole room in the palm of his hand, but never interjected himself in a way that felt like the spotlight was on him. We also signed up to use his "magic mirror" instead of a traditional photo booth. The number of people we had come up to us during the party as well as after talking about how fun it was, was amazing. If you have the chance, definitely get it, you won't regret it. You need look no further because Mike is "simply the best". Mike DJ'd our wedding 2 months ago, and he graded out with an A++++. Everthing not only went as it was planned....it went BETTER than planned. From our first meeting with Mike until the very end of the wedding reception, he literally took care of everything in professional detail. And I have to say, we had some unusual and unique requests for the music, the timing of when the music was to be played, some special announcements, and some unusual musical surprises for our guests. Mike hit a HOMERUN with everything we asked for. He truly goes above and beyond what you expect and ask for. Mike was an absolutely AMAZING DJ for my wedding and my husband and I cannot recommend him enough!!! From the moment we had our initial inquiry call with Mike we knew we had to book him. I think within the first 5 minutes of the call I was nudging my now husband that we had to book him! It has been almost two months since our wedding and we STILL have guests contacting us and talking about how rockin' our dance floor was. We knew from the moment that we spoke with Mike that we needed him for our wedding! Mike is the best of the best if you are looking for a DJ for your wedding or event. He was so helpful and attentive during the planning process and offered really great advice & recommendations to us. He absolutely blew away our expectations the day of the wedding, all we wanted was a dance party and that's exactly what we got! He continuously checked in with us throughout the night to make sure everything was flowing as it should and that we were happy with everything. My husband and I had a last dance at the end of the night, just the two of us and Mike was helpful to get people out so we could have a minute alone to soak it all in. We also had the mirror photo booth at our wedding, Cody was incredible as well. He put up with everyone's shenanigans and at the end of the night gave us a full photo album with all of our guests 4x6 photos that were printed out for them during the night as well as a USB drive with all of the photos on it. Mike is simply the best. There is so much to say about him that a review cannot hold- he is a true professional who very clearly LOVES his couples and his craft. Mike has amazing energy, and every time we spoke to him he got us so excited for our big day. We felt like no matter what happened, Mike would make it a fun day no matter what (and he did). Our dance floor was PACKED throughout the entire night, straight up until the last dance. No one left early, even the grandmas stayed until the very end because Mike made it a true day-long celebration. I don't know that I could ever articulate how incredibly happy we were with Mike, both leading up to and then on our wedding day. After our very first call, I was absolutely positive that he was the vendor for us and we had absolutely no doubts leading up to the day that he would set the tone to be exactly what we wanted - a big party. We often joked that he was more excited for our wedding than even we were - because he really just exudes the most positive energy. Mike had our dance floor filled the ENTIRE night.
