1st picture my dog was bit at Must Love Dogs, November 10th, needed stitches because another dog's tooth went through her head. Second and third pictures, April 26th, 6 mo later, my dog was attacked again at the same place! The owner assured me the 1st time that they were just playing and things got out of control because they are animals so I brought her back. Now he is blaming my dog, taking absolutely no responsibility at all, financial or even an apology!!!! The first time we had a $220 vet bill, which he refused to pay but of course gave me a credit of that amount to keep my business. Big mistake! The fact that they didn't even know it happened until hours later tells me they are extremely neglectful and basically just don't care. He actually told me this happens a lot, stitches here and there are common during open play. WOW

Must love Dogs is a place where your pup will have fun & make lots of cute friends. Nathan (The Owner) is very knowledgeable on dogs & puppies. Nathan also cares not just about his customers happiness but his employees happiness as well. Before Nathan bought Must love Dogs about a year ago he's completely changed the place around by cleaning it up & opening it up as well. I was just hired here just last week and from an insiders point of view that has worked at two animal hospitals prior Must love Dogs is a place I would feel very confident in leaving my two beloved pups at for DDC or Sleepover. Must love Dogs is very clean and very well put together since it became under new ownership. I have seen pictures of what it used to look like before Nathan took it over and really made the place more open, cleaner, and brighter! Must love Dogs is very deserving of all 5 stars that I am rating and you won't be displeased trusting us at Must love Dogs with your pup!

Daycare fun at Must Love Dogs!

Must Love Dogs is the best doggie daycare place! My little girl dog has been going there for almost four years now. She's known the staff and other doggie regulars since she was a tiny pup and they gave all become a second family to her. There are actually about three daycare places closer to my home, but I would never consider them. I have visited them for dog food at times (MLD doesn't sell Origen, my dog's food, though now I simply order online) and I wasn't impressed. At Must Love Dogs, everything is just spectacular. The staff are wonderful people who genuinely care. They're a lot of fun too! They all love dogs and do everything possible to make sure your dog is well-cared for and having a great time. It's really great to be able to pick up your pooch and know she'll be sleepy and super low-maintenance the rest of the night and often the following day as well! My dog is very high energy, so this is a must! You won't be disappointed if you bring your dog here. Quite the opposite. It is very nice to find a place whom you trust to care for your dog the want and to know that your dog is having a blast all day! P.S. Birthday Parties: Have them do a birthday party when your dog's birthday rolls around. It's a no brainier. It only costs a few dollars for the lick-a-lot frozen yogurt treats and it's well worth it. More than the additional photos they take of your pooch and the yummy snack, your dog will be treated like a king/queen for the day, ensuring an extra good day! And, if you like, be as silly as you want and dress up your dog in a birthday outfit!

Formal Complaint - Barking Hound Village Marietta…read more I am writing to formally express my disappointment with my recent experience at Barking Hound Village Marietta. I have been a loyal customer for years, and the level of service has declined significantly under the new management. When Jeremy managed the facility, he consistently demonstrated professionalism, excellent customer service, and genuine care for both the dogs and their owners. Unfortunately, my experience with the new manager, Austin, was the complete opposite. I scheduled my dogs' temperament evaluation approximately one month in advance. After loading my three dogs into the car and arriving in the rain for our appointment, I was informed that my dog, Gus, would not be accepted by the facility. This information should have been communicated well in advance, not after I arrived for a scheduled appointment. That lack of communication showed a complete disregard for my time and created unnecessary stress, especially since I had only one week before my planned travel to find alternative boarding. Fortunately, I was able to secure care elsewhere, but no long-term customer should be treated this way. The facility itself has also become disappointing. In my experience, it has often appeared unclean, is frequently under renovation, and the condition of the driveway has made visits inconvenient. Combined with the poor communication and lack of professionalism, it no longer reflects the quality of service I once expected. During my conversation with the manager, I expressed concerns about my dog's safety around larger dogs. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or explaining the facility's safety protocols in a reassuring manner, I felt my concerns were dismissed. As a pet owner, I expect my concerns about my dog's safety to be taken seriously. Instead, I left feeling that customer concerns were not valued. Perhaps the most disappointing part of this experience was the attitude toward loyal customers. Rather than attempting to resolve the situation, I was left with the impression that because the business is busy, customer service is no longer a priority. That is an unfortunate message to send to customers who have supported this business for years. Because of this experience, I will no longer be bringing my dogs to Barking Hound Village Marietta. I cannot recommend the facility based on the customer service, communication, and overall experience I received. I hope ownership takes these concerns seriously and works to restore the professionalism and customer-focused culture that once made this location a place I trusted with my pets. This was one of the worst recruitment and customer experiences I've ever had. There appears to be no cleaning schedule, no basic standards of professionalism, and no sense of decorum. The facility felt poorly managed, and I genuinely worry that dogs could become sick after spending time here. What was even more concerning was the presence of aggressive pit bulls. As a customer, I should never have to worry about my dog's safety while boarding or visiting a facility. Instead of taking customer concerns seriously, the manager seemed to have an obvious affinity for the pit bulls rather than prioritizing the safety and well-being of every dog in their care. Overall, the lack of cleanliness, professionalism, and accountability made this an experience I cannot recommend. If you're looking for a safe, well-managed place that treats all customers and pets with care and respect, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Also they now require 50% upfront for boarding (new policy, probably new management) also unheard of. And the new manager has an UGLY BIG mouth and talks back to customers defending pitbulls. They welcome litigation should there be a dog fight and in response Austen said "we don't get more lawsuits than any other place, its the cost of doing business" he's a really inappropriate, too junior to be in this position. He doesn't have the requisite experience.

He is a kid and is…read moretoo junior to deal with the customers, has no customer service or appreciation for the customers as well as our dogs. There's no greeting our dogs let alone the customers when they enter the facility. As I dropped iff two of my daughter's dogs. He told me that Gus was not going to be boarding, even with him taking or after the temperament test. That they are too busy to dedicate or even separate Gus from other dogs. He didn't offer any apology for their last minute decision after having secured the boarding weeks ago. Not even saying I'm sorry for wasting your time to drop off our dogs early Friday morning and in the rain. No consideration for me the life long customer. Im a senior citizen and never have been talked so condescending too. As a long time customer we now have to scramble to find another boarding facility at the last minute. I won't be doing business with the barking hound because of Austin, his lack of management and verbal skills. No experience and rudeness. After all this I now have red flags about this establishment; 1. Safety concerns, about what breeds are my dogs interacting with especially since come to find out Austin is a pitbull owner and enthusiast. He doesn't concede that my dogs are in harms way of these pathological breeds. I've heard horror stories only of pitballs biting, killing and mauling people and other breeds, 2. Dirty and smelly stalls no protocol for cleanliness, it smells like a farmhouse. There are no tours offered to see the facility like other places and is still being "renovated", 3. the worst part is that they now require a deposit of Half the cost for boarding your dogs upfront, unheard of these days especially in these times where people are struggling to make ends meet. Very punitive policy. They'vevlost my business for ever.

Their webcams are great and I have often obsessed over watching my dogs via webcam for longer than I care to admit. Now grooming services has always been top notch. Our groomer was Laura and we loved her. She has since left the company and we're devastated. She knew exactly how to grrom our baby every time we brought her in. The replacement groomer was great too. I have no issue with him but since Laura left, it seems to be harder and harder to get a grooming appt. I don't know if they just aren't staffing up enough to support grooming services. As I write this review, the next available grooming appt is not until 2 months in the future. I've been coming her for years but now I will have to find a new spot and am sad to say it. Thanks Pet Paradise for years of good service. Perhaps I will return when grooming timelines aren't months out.

The staff is so friendly and took such good care of our two boxes, they made sure that if they weren't eating because of anxiety that they would add chicken broth in the meals, small things like that mean so much, it shows how much they care about the pets they are watching! I highly recommend this place to anyone that is looking for boarding! Thank you to the staff for making my vacation a bit more comfortable knowing that Roxy and lily were in such loving care
