There were no X-rays performed or scanners to check my current health state. This chiropractor office somewhat reminds me of an assembly line. For the past few months, I would come into the office to sign in. After signing in, I would proceed to the machines they had. I was able to lay on the roller machine which helped loosen up my muscles, then hooked to neck stretching machine and then electrical STIM machine. Afterwards, I would go see the doctor to get adjusted. It seems like its the same process for everyone and there is little room for individualized care. I really wanted to give this place a chance but I am not really seeing any improvement in my health. The staff is cordial however, I really think it's only because they get my money. I am grateful to have had this experience because I now know what to look for when I am looking for a better chiropractor.

I found this chiropractor online after having lower back pain for the last 2 months. They were able…read moreto see me the same day which was great. 1st appt was normal xrays, paperwork, questions. Dr Graham adjusted me, and I did leave in less pain than when I went in so that was perfect. I thought this is great! Second appt was the following week. Went over xrays talked about the treatment plan. They wanted me to commit to 4 or 6 weeks can't remember which. I committed to 2 and then we could see where we were at. I was told they were working with insurance and that my deductible was met and that my copay would be $15 a visit. I agreed and signed all the paperwork. Was adjusted and went home again feeling better than when I went in so definitely a win. I went back 3 more times that week. Now here why I'm unhappy. The following week my first of the 3 appt for that week was on a wed but Monday morning when my pain was so bad I called and they were able to get me right in. My pain was at an 8 and I was definitely hurting. As I'm waiting to be adjusted the lady that deals with insurance comes to tell me that insurance didn't approve the first few visits and that I'll be responsible for the times I came in before it was approved. $55 a visit. I heard what she was saying but I was hurting so bad I couldn't think. I was adjusted and left. Again my pain was better after leaving. This is why I left the 3 stars. After coming home and talking it over with the hubby I had to call the 2 friends I had recommended him to, one of whom I had just given the coupon for free xrays, and explain that now I had an almost $200 bill! After having a deductible that was met. I called this morning and and was met with I'm sorry, and that the pre authorization hasn't gone through. I understand that these things happen but a conversation should have taken place explaining the pre authorization and that if it didn't go through before the visits I'd be responsible for the $55 office visits. (also other chiropractors I've been to in the area are $40) So I canceled the rest of the appointments and will be looking for a new chiropractor that doesn't hit me with a big bill after saying it would be $15 a visit.

The improvement is pretty remarkable considering I had been in pain for months. Dr. Doyle was incredibly friendly and professional - took time to listen and explain everything. After months of treatment this time and periodically over the years, I still ended up with issues, but then: I got a Deep, DEEP Tissue massage on Christmas Eve. It has helped my back immensely. After the massage and (not kidding) walking on my back, she stretched me out very similarly to a chiropractic adjustment. It adjusted and a day later, I wasn't hunched over in pain. They also said it would take 4 months to fix my back and neck (my neck of which I had simply slept on wrong) and that I needed foot orthotics and physical therapy equipment from them. At my first visit he told me with a flat affect and arrogantly that I had three options: do nothing, take meds for the pain for the rest of my life, or let him fix me. I was shocked by how prideful and degrading this statement was. Dr. Carr was very forceful when he adjusted my back, so much so, that I was lightheaded from the amount of pain my back was in a few hours after the adjustment. My neck, which was causing me the most pain, was never adjusted during the 3 "adjustments" I had there. He'll spend a max of 3 minutes on you and the rest you'll be doing exercises for 20 min before he'll see you. Additionally, I never felt any better after an adjustment. Do not go here. I had gone to him because of the reviews I'd read, but I'm honestly not sure where people are getting that he's "compassionate" and "genuine". This is the opposite of how I would describe him and the practice. Meanwhile, I went to another chiropractor up the road (Legacy Medical Center) who spent 20 minutes on me and was very gentle. I felt so much better after 3 adjustments that I haven't had to go back since. That is the way a legitimate chiropractor should operate.
