He told me to come on in and he will stay a little later to help me out. When I tell you the office is beautiful, the paperwork was simple, but the TECHNIQUE was amazing. I have been to chiropractors in other cities and states over the years. I thought I knew what to expect, but Dr. Margo and Filer Chiropractic Center blew my expectations out of the water! Dr. Margo is very thorough and works to make sure her patients are taken care of holistically. Other chiropractors I've been to get patients in and out real quick like a factory. Dr. Margo takes her time, really listens to her patients, and makes sure that they are in a place to take care of themselves and just see her for tune ups. Dr. Amber Capra is a phenomenal chiropractor. As someone who works on computers for most of the day, I have neck pain that requires a tune up. I first visited Dr. Capra on the recommendation of a friend and I was not disappointed. I've visited several chiropractors in the past and she by far has the best bedside manor. She's personable and easy to talk to. Not only that but I feel a million times better every time I walk out of there. The receptionists are very friendly. I'm high strung. I believe in over working myself and keeping a schedule so busy that I don't always have time to sleep and eat. This leads to stress. Stress leads to tension. The receptionist was a nice older lady when I called in. She jammed me into the schedule, and I hopped on the 64 and got in just in time for my appointment. Heather is awesome. She made it as pain free...well... as pain free as a chiropractor can be. Honestly, it hurt so good. She also explained everything thoroughly, which is always appreciated. The front office staff is pretty cool too. I'm insured, but there were really fair rates for those uninsured. Also, Heather isn't a cult chiropractor, which was awesome. There were no forced x rays, plans for months of treatments (I'm 23 not 80.), etc. Just get in, get fixed, get done. If you are looking for a chiropractor, Dr. Ben is where it's at! I have been seeing him for a few months. Originally for some unexplained discomfort, but one week into seeing him I was in a nasty car accident. He was an imperative part of my recovery. He is easy to communicate with and is a great listener. Always checking in with me about how I felt about my recovery week to week. He's not just about the adjustment! He is trained in ART (active release technique) which is a technique that works out the scar tissue built up in your muscles and allows for the adjustment to really be effective. I am a student who moves around quite a lot but I can assure you I will never go to see a regular chiropractor who doesn't use this technique! It will change your life. And not that it makes or breaks a chiropractic experience, but he's a really funny guy with a lot of good stories to distract you from your pain :) Dr. Ben is the salt of the earth. I couldn't believe how kind and accommodating Dr. Simmons and his wife Meghan were to me. I called on a Saturday desperate to find a chiropractor open because of an emergency injury I had that morning. I was in excruciating pain, and was uncomfortable in every possible position. When I called Meghan answered and explained that Dr. Simmons was fully booked for the day, but even so she went out of her way to accommodate me and find a spot for me. I badly hurt my neck two years ago on a long bike trip from poor alignment on the bike over the course of 5 days. I had already been seen by one chiropractor, had under went PT and had standard medical treatment when I came to see Dr. Ben. I had immediate relief when I walked out, and over the course of several months complete healing. I no longer have neck pain at all. I like his demeanor which is knowledgeable, but very relaxed. I am a middle aged female experiencing knee pain, I've been told I have arthritis and I'm working my way to a joint replacement. I have been to several Chiropractors over the years because of a hereditary arthritic condition in my neck. I have a wonderful orthopedic surgeon who is very good at what he does, but after 4 months of steroids and pain meds for a sciatic problem that just would not be relieved, a friend suggested I try making an appointment with Dr. Filer. Maureen, the "assistant" and jack-of-all-trades for the practice is a fabulous, caring individual who made me feel comfortable from the beginning. I've had back problems for a number of years, and this most recent bout was very problematic. I couldn't walk without a walker or cane and was in almost constant pain.
