I had in mind nasal Imitrex as pill form is useless if you get nauseous & vomit. Student physician says pill form will save me money. I have private health insurance with drug coverage. Student physician needs authorization from MD, who says Imitrex in a pill is useless for those with nausea & vomiting & gives me the nasal spray I want. On another occasion a MD who consulted with my 10 year old recommended a decongestant. Again was offered help for my pocketbook which was not only not requested but didn't work. Also physician's directions for medication didn't match Pharmacist's. Half a century on the planet & any other practice has student physicians they ask, "Would you mind being seen by Student Doctor X today?" and I always give consent. Would it be too much to ask UMass to do the same? At this rate UMass may be losing me as a patient.

She takes time with her patients and has always been able to squeeze me in for a sick visit same day. (I don't mind waiting on these days- remember if they take the time to squeeze you in you should be able to wait if necessary) I have seen another doc in the practice when she was away and she too was great. They also have a lab in office for bloodwork which is fantastic.
