I recently traveled from California to Florida to visit my sister. She gave me a set of hearing aids that belonged to her late husband. I called one local office late on a Thursday afternoon to ask if they could adjust them for me right away since I was leaving town in a couple of days. They said I'd have to make an appointment for the next week. Then I called Mutter's. Even though it was just up against closing time, Joe Mutter agreed to see me at 4:30pm. He spent a fair amount of time to determine if my hearing aids had been lost or stolen, which I appreciated as a sign of his integrity. He then spent about 1 1/2 hours with me fine tuning the hearing aids so that they work well for me. He is a very experienced and professional audiologist, and is also kind and has a sense of humor. He was able to replace the "gain" receivers to make them work better. Excellent service by a kind and very knowledgeable professional. He made time for me and stayed late to get me set up correctly. I finally conceded to my family's request that I have my hearing checked out, and my son recommended Mutter's Precision Hearing in St Lucie West. Mr. Mutter gave me a thorough exam to test my hearing and then we had an extensive consultation to go over his findings. Turns out I had quite a substantial hearing loss! After sampling a pair of hearing aids I was amazed at what I could actually hear! It's almost unbelievable after not hearing well for so long and putting off getting evaluated. I was fitted for Livio 2400 Hearing aids with the receiver in the ear, and they are Bluetooth capable! Mr Mutter scheduled three follow up appointments for instruction and any other issues, and I have to say he is so thorough, personable, and really helps you understand your hearing issues. I would recommend his practice to anyone experiencing difficulty with their hearing. I suffer from tinnitus and these hearing aides pretty much cancel the noise out when I'm wearing them! I just replaced my Halo i110 hearing aids of six years with Evolv AI 2400.  I've been going to Joe twice a year over the past year six years keeping up the maintenance on my Halo i110's.  I also, after the standard manufacturers 3 year warranty ran out I continued with the extended annual maintenance warranty which has come in handy over the additional 3 years.  I have hearing exams annually to make sure of any changes in my hearing.  This year  my hearing exam we noticed a change in my hearing and with the halos being six years old still working properly I asked about new hearing aids.  Joe mentioned that the Evolv AI 2400s had just come out in March of this year 2021.  Joe suggested that I try a pair of the Evolv AI 2400 for a week  to see if it would be worth it to upgrade. This is the main reason I go to Joe.  It's very hard to find people like Joe, who truly cares about what is best for his patients! Joe is quite knowledgeable and takes his time to make sure you are comfortable with all the information provided.  There is absolutely no pressuring you or pushing you to buy hearing aids that are not the best ones for your hearing loss.    Joe exemplifies compassion, consideration and kindness.  I personally would recommend Mutter's Hearing Center Joe is the Best of the Best!!!!
