First of all, Dr Richards is a wonderful physician but as a business this practice is a disgrace. A year ago, they sold me very expensive hearing aids with three years of annual visits for maintenance. A year later when it was time for the first annual followup visit they just couldn't be bothered. They gave me an appointment and just before the visit they called and cancelled and rescheduled for a month later. After they did this three times I realized they had no intention of providing the service and I went elsewhere. I will dearly miss Dr Richards but no way will I go back there. read more

Christopher Slack has the worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. I can't help but feel it's because we're Hispanic or because my daughter is a Medicaid patient. Regardless- I certainly felt discriminated against. It seems the oath he took as a doctor means nothing to him unless you're of the same ethnicity or meet a certain financial status--something that became very evident during our visit. Unfortunately, he seems to assume either Hispanics or Medicaid patients are uneducated. Which is most definitely not the case here. My husband and I are both college graduates. He's also in the military, and we're usually covered by Tricare; however, he's not active duty. He's a reservist on leave to further his education. We have four kids and one income, but that is beside the point and the reason we're on Medicaid shouldn't matter. What should matter is his attitude toward his patients and his willingness to listen to their concerns--as well as the opinions of other medical professionals. He treated us poorly our first visit and I let it go because I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt and I wanted to trust him. However, two other medical professionals have raised concerns about my daughter's sleeping patterns. They've observed that she stops breathing during the night and have recommended intervention. In this case it would be having her adenoids removed. Despite this, Christopher Slack blatantly ignored their recommendations, dismissively stating that "she just wants to be in bed with mom and dad." This is completely untrue; she never sleeps in our bed. She wakes us up crying sometimes scared and sometimes in pain. Once she feels better, she goes to sleep on the couch. Facts I made clear to him. When I respectfully pointed out that he wasn't listening to the concerns raised by my husband and myself, my daughter's pediatrician, or her sleep specialist--who has conducted two sleep studies--he very pompously responded, "I gave you my opinion, you didn't like it. You're free to seek someone else's opinion." He then condescendingly started leading me out to the exit door while discussing my daughter's medical information outside of the privacy of the patient room. Commenting across the hall and in the common area that I can go somewhere else. Escorting us, my 9, 4, and 2 year old as if he were nonchalantly taking out the trash. I can deal with the humiliation he caused if the appointment were for me, but we're talking about a 4 year old child. Which he didn't even bother to examine until I gave a little push back on things her pediatrician and sleep specialist advised me to mention. In summary, I do not and cannot in good conscience recommend Christopher Slack to anyone, especially those of a different race or with Medicaid, as his dismissive and discriminatory attitude is both unprofessional, unethical, and evident. A doctor's responsibility is to prioritize the health and well-being of their patients, regardless of financial or insurance status, and he failed to do so today. I highly recommend seeking care from a more compassionate and qualified professional who values patient concerns and listens to the recommendations of other medical experts. read more

I was in Fort Pierce for a month ( mid Feb 2025- mid March 2025) and continued to have ear issues from an upper respiratory infection which started just before Christmas . My husband insisted I try finding an ENT in the area and I had the best experience seeing Dr Jesse Phillips. He was professional, kind, and thorough. I went back for an audiogram and was pleased with that experience ( maybe not with the results) and then back to the doctor to discuss the results. The entire staff made me feel welcome. I live in the Outer Banks in NC where medical facilities and doctors are lacking. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Phillips to anyone experiencing ear issues. read more

After having my ear surgery and paying all the payments requested they came up with a $600.00 bill 2 months later, to this day 1 year later they refuse to tell me which doctor the charges were for, what services it was for and they refused my offer to make a payment plan, I had explained in detail that I was on a small fixed budget and did not want any services performed unless it was covered by my Medicare and Medicaid, they ensured me they would not! I have to be in pain every day because they refused to do any follow-up, I'm totally deaf in that ear and to make things worse they turned these fraud charges over to a collection agency so that they could ruin what little credit I had. If you plan on getting any service done with this company be sure to have them write down and explain the charges in advance or they will go out of their way to ruin your life! BEWARE! read more

I made an appointment to see Dr. Slack. I filled out the paperwork online and came in. He talk to me for approximately 15 minutes. I was getting a price for some eye surgery and I am a cash patient. NO ONE SAID ANYTHING ABOUT AN UPFRONT $200 CHARGE TO TALK WITH THE DOCTOR AND GET A PRICE. I talked to a woman on the phone and told her I was coming in and I spoke to a woman at the front desk when I came in, and no one mentioned a $200 upfront price for a consultation. After I was finished talking to the doctor, he asked me "did they mention a $200 fee For a consultation" "if you make the appointment for the surgery, they will take it off of the bottom line of the surgery". Had I had known it was going to be a $200 fee to come in and talk to the doctor and get a price I would not have done it . Come to find out I found a place that would do my upper and lower eyes for the same price as he is charging for my lower eyes.This morning. I got a bill in the mail for $200. These are the type of people that take advantage of peoples insurance. I can't believe this super rich ENT is trying to rip me off. I am a server. I can't afford to pay $200 just to talk to a doctor for a few minutes and get a price. However, I am getting the surgery done somewhere else because I got a way better deal at a different place. So they're overcharging me for the surgery charging me double and because I'm going somewhere else they're sending me a $200 bill. Elizabeth Anne Blasberg doesn't even follow the Hippocratic Oath and should lose her medical license TODAY. She controls 2 clinics without having knowledge OR care. She even doesn't know how to handle patients, answer our questions or even manage her workers. I saw patients asking if they needed a 2nd appt to get their questions answered. These appts last 10 mins so she can make the most money. Worst experience ever. Saw Dr Michelle for a double ear infection and sinus infection. I was referred by urgent care AND my primary for the above. She quickly looks in my ears and said no infection you nee surgery AND you have a cancer mass. Wtf? How about testing and solving my infection? No thx surgery before real examination? We took our 1 month old daughter to see Dr Allen. The office was very nice and clean. Dr Allen and the staff were very friendly. The wait wasn't long. Dr Allen did a thorough exam and gave us advice based on what he would do if it was his daughter. He didn't push any unnecessary procedures on us and we left confident in his advice. Hopefully we don't have to go back but if we ever need an ENT again, they will be who I call. read more
