Oh. My. Goodness. Mutti's German Restaurant in Lawton is an absolute treasure. I just ate there and I'm still dreaming about the food! First of all--the beer with the Schwarzwälder Kirschtorte (yes, Black Forest cake!) was unexpectedly PERFECT. Sweet, rich, and just the right kind of indulgent. We ordered the combo platter, and let me tell you--it was like a tour of Germany on a plate. The Wiener schnitzel, the bratwurst, knackwurst, leberkäse, and wienerle... every bite was better than the last. The potatoes (SO crispy), the sauerkraut, and that tangy red cabbage--seriously, every single side brought something special. My boyfriend is of German descent and explained everything to me, which made it all even more fun. He loved the curry ketchup (I wasn't a fan, but hey--more for him!), and the mustard? Bold, spicy, and totally addictive. And that homey, welcoming vibe? It felt like walking into someone's Oma's kitchen. The staff was so kind, and you can just tell everything is made with love and pride. "Delicious" honestly doesn't even begin to cover it. If you're anywhere near Lawton, run to Mutti's. Don't walk. You'll thank yourself after the first bite.

What a gem Mutti's is! My first time here during my visit to Lawton. I've heard great things about the place, so I was excited to try it out myself. Upon entering, the vibes and aesthetic were very German! There were many knick knacks and trinkets along with German music playing to complete the ambiance. Our servers were sweet and quick. We ordered the pretzel with cheese to start, and though it was pretty good, it was nothing special. I then received a light pickled salad that made for a nice palette cleanser. For my meal, I ordered the Jaeger Schnitzel with fries, and it was delicious. The schnitzel was fresh, crispy, and yummy! The mushroom gravy paired well with it. The fries were battered which are my favorite kind of fries, and I had them with curry ketchup and mayo. My partner ordered the bratwurst with spaetzle and a side of sauerkraut. The bratwurst was flavorful and had a nice snap. I was personally a fan of the spaetzle-- though I've never had it before. For dessert we ordered the almond bread pudding, and it was warmed and served with vanilla ice cream. It was the best dessert to end our meal!

Great food, atmosphere was genuine and service was excellent! Food came prompt and hot, if you want authentic German food, this is the place!

We may have already torn into this, but this is the sampler for two. It had more sausages on it, but hunger got the best of us.

Fast. Delicious. Perfect. I've missed German food, so we stopped here during a family trip. We were immediately greeted by a friendly waitress. We ordered the sampler, a pretzel, and spaetzle. The sampler was MASSIVE. We could've just split that. The pretzel was perfect - crispy outside, soft on the inside. The spaetzle was pretty yummy too. And their German beer selection is awesome. This is a gem in the middle of nowhere. Give it a shot! You'll thank me.

Super yummy food and very kind servers! We got the Schnitzel and it was so delicious and tasted freshly made! We had the Black Forest cake as well and it was moist and so good! Will definitely come again soon!

Hubby and I arrived for an early dinner. No one greeted us, but a local sitting at the table next to the door told us to grab a table. All of the tables were large community tables, but we were able to find a four top. The loaf of bread was not homemade. I got the jager schnitzel and Hubby the grill teller plate. The food was ok, but it did not feel homemade. My schnitzel gravy was thick and lumpy. I got a piece of cake, which was dry and stale. Hubby got the bread pudding, which was ok. The ladies' service ended up being friendly, but the food was not great.

While visiting our son at Ft Sil- he told us that there was an authentic German restaurant in town. We've been dying to try it out. Came in on a Friday afternoon for dinner and it was already getting busy. We were seated right away and our waitress took our orders quickly too. The menu is somewhat limited but the food was delish! Was not too keen on the desserts but the meals more than made up that. When we return in December Mutto's is definitely on our list of go to's.

Very good selection and quality of German staples like schnitzels, wursts, and spatzle. They also have a broad variety of German Beers and yummy desserts. We went in for lunch, and service was prompt, friendly and attentive. The place is FILLED with German (mostly Bavarian) knickknacks, steins, and nutcrackers. Traditional German music completes the vibe. We will DEFINITELY eat here again!

After ordering my drink, I thought there was a chance she had completely forgotten. This was the second time I considered just leaving. I ordered the buffalo fried chicken wrap with no tomatoes with fries and a side of ranch. The buffalo sauce is served on the side, not on the actual wrap. The chicken was cold, which isn't how its prepared (in my experience) Tomatoes came anyway. The fries were cold and mushy. After getting food, server didn't come to check in until it was time for the bill. Once I paid, their system wouldn't print a receipt. The server on 3 different times pushed a button to try and get it to print but it wouldn't. Thought she was going to get it to print. Nope. I had to find her to ask for my receipt. Would not come back if I lived in the area.

I ordered a cheese steak which comes with au jus sauce. When the meal FINALLY arrives, the side of sauce had dumped in the basket and saturated the sandwich.......five strikes now. The Ruben my wife ordered had very little meat and frys were cold. We sat next to another couple who's Irish stew was cold. Our first waitress had an attitude and pushed us off to another waitress. This was our First and LAST visit to Mike's. Good Luck to anyone who dares to visit.

My husband went in and ordered it until to make sure to put extra lettuce in it because most places when you order a taco salad it's all toppings and no lettuce. This was one of the best taco salads I've had he got chicken on top. The chicken was very tasty. The lettuce was good and all of the toppings were really tasty as well and I forgot how good their salsa and cheese dips are. But my main complaint before was simply that they did not do Carrie out very well at all, but evidently that's changed which I was very pleased with. Of course this is totally different from what I've ordered in the past still though the service was great. Steve had no problems with it and if you've never been there, it's got a really nice ambience. It's a nice place to go and sit down. Frankly, I'm disabled with multiple sclerosis and the heat kills me. It's nice in there but right now our cars air-conditioning is broken so we're doing bring home and I'm not leaving the house! And it's good to know that we can order from here when we want something to take home and that it's much better than it used to be so I give them kudos for that.
