My Chihuahua mix, Chico, has been going to Muttlee for virtually all of his 16 years. The groomers take exceptional care of him. He has always been apprehensive about grooming, but the staff at Muttlee go out of their way to ensure he is feeling comfortable and safe. After his last grooming, the receptionist saw he was nervous and held him in her arms until I came to get him. I can't recommend them highly enough. Let me preface this by saying I have used Muttlee Crew for YEARS with my previous dogs who passed several years ago as well as my current dog. I used to always be happy with the quality of the work and the reasonable pricing. I'm not sure what's changed but both have changed dramatically. The last two grooms have been less than great and $70 for a 12 lb dog?!? Really? And who cuts a Yorkie's head short? She looks ridiculous. To make matters worse, they charged me a late fee because the computer showed me as "late" because I had to wait for the customer before me before I could check in. The girl at the front desk said she could waive it but my receipt still showed the charge. I'm going to have to shop for a new groomer as this place has gotten worse over the years. I received a response to my review on Google from the owner, who said I should have addressed the late fee when I was there - I DID and was still charged the late fee. They also seemed surprised that my dog was a mixed breed despite her having been groomed there many times. And the most laughable part was them saying my 12 lb Yorkie/Jack Russell is a medium dog. My dog is banned because the groomer was yelling at the receptionist about how she tired to bite her but from the sound of how she was yelling from the back it seemed like she was a mean person. My Rot Venus is a bigger more "AgGrEsSiVe" breed but she was nice to the receptionist and the people who were in the waiting area/lobby. Even let them pet her. I give the benefit of the doubt to the groomer because this was Venus' first time going to a groomers ever. She is a bit older as well, she's 4 turning 5 in December. Her nails just became way too sharp and kept cutting me so that's why I took her to this shop. This was her first and last time. It sucks because they did a good job and even got to do her nails too but I guess she was too scary for them. They did a great job if you have a very well trained small dog i'd recommend this place. read more

I have to change my rating because the last few times we went the service was awful. Whoever was manning the desk was super rude and could care less. Luckily the girl who used to be at the desk was grooming -- and she was sweet and took good care of my babies. My dogs have gone here for years and not had a problem until recently my dog went in for a grooming, was cut, and resulted in a hefty vet bill and the groomer took absolutely no responsibility for the injury. I've been coming here for a little over 2 years, maybe even more. This is the second time were I asked them to give my schnauzer the schnauzer cut and they decided to cut all the hair. I even told them over the phone when I made an appointment to put in their notes not to cut all her hair off, but to do the specific cut and the lady had said she'll take care of it. My dad even mentioned it when he went to drop off the dogs to do the schnauzer cut and they said okay. When he went to pick them up he kindly asked if he could see the dog before paying and they declined him so he went ahead and paid for the cut, he then saw that they decided to cut all her hair. When he started complaining about the cut the lady said he never mentioned it, and that there were no notes whatsoever about wanting the schnauzer cut. Do not come here clearly they don't care about what you want for your dog or providing great customer service. This sucks because my family loves supporting small businesses but they lost a loyal customer. read more

Im so disappointed in this place. Ive been coming here for years. Recently they changed owners, and for the 2nd time since they had changed owners, I went to get my chihuahua a groom. He smelled great, looked great, but then I noticed blood on his nose!! When I told the girl at the desk about it she said they dont know how it happened and that perhaps my dog did it to himself?!?! What the heck, hes a 6 pound chihuahua for christ sake!! This is the 2nd time ive written this review because the 1st one i left on the other website "intuit," and looks like muttlee deleted it, and you can only review on there if youve gotten an email asking for a reviiew. Beware!!!! Our dog is a loving friendly dog who since we picked him up from his groomer at Mutlee Crew has been so depressed! When we picked him up he was scalped on his nose by a razor blade cut on his nose! My mom was in tears when she asked what happened they made every excuse instead of giving us an explanation as to what happened to our dog! We are confused as to what they were thinking, charging us first then showing us our dog. You would think if they know they hurt or messed up your dogs haircut they would show you first then give you an option of a discount or free service. It will not make a difference but don't charge for something unexceptable! I just hope our fur baby will be back to his normal self soon! God knows why he is so scared & depressed! read more

This was my first visit and I just picked up my four legged "nephew" who was in much need of grooming. He was a hot mess with severe matting. He's a 15 years old Shih Tzu with one eye at about 20% vision and completely deaf. The staff was so incredibly sweet and accommodating and went the extra mile for his care. Several months ago, I took one of my dogs to Muttlee Crew and didn't like the way Dennis groomed the paws; messy compared to what I was used to from a prior groomer. For all I knew, it could have just been a bad day. I then tried another groomer for both of my dogs and was happier with Kim. A few days ago I booked an appointment for both of my dogs and it was confirmed this morning by text. They informed me it would be Dennis and I said no problem, I'm sure it'll be better this time. An hour before my appointment I got a call from them saying the groomer "refused to groom my dogs." Mind you, I never had any personal contact with this groomer, just wrote about it in a review (sadly, no manager was available). If we all refused to work with people that challenge us...If they don't want my business, fine with me (there are about 3 other grooming locations in my area). read more

I took my dog here for a groom a few weeks ago and had an appointment. I brought my dog in early they took him and I left. Now usually they take about an hour to groom my 50 pound dog. I came to check on the progress since it had been 2 and a half hours later and they had just started on my dog. I was beyond upset. The front desk lady told me " He's a big dog it takes a while to dry him". UHHH HELLO first you haven't bathed him yet so how could it take a while to dry him if he hasn't been wet yet. Then they tell me to wait another 40 minutes. I wait pick my dog up to find that he's scared with his tail between his legs. His hair line at the back of his head was crooked and he had a chunk of skin ripped from under his eye. It looked like they had cut him with the shaver. When I confronted the front desk lady she was extremely un professional and had no idea what was going on. To top it all off my dog was stressed the rest of the day and would not eat or drink. If you truly care about your pet please do not take them here. read more
