Let me tell you about Mutts. What a nice surprise. I drive by frequently and thought incorrectly that there was no dine in option. My husband and I were running errands and we both wanted a burger. My husband had been before but I hadn't and he suggested Mutts. I told him I wanted to dine in, and not drive through and he told me there was an indoor dining area. Well, we went inside to a small but good sized eating area with trivia questions on the table. Bonus! The trivia questions were fun to play while we waited. The order taker was very nice and so was the server. It was noticeable that a burger joint had service with a smile. That is rare now! A plus! The burgers were delicious. None of that smash burger business here, just hand made (open kitchen) burgers that were juicy, and delicious. We had onion rings and fries and they were delicious as well. We went for the trifecta and had milkshakes too-also fabulous! I really think that these burgers along with the friendly service are worth a drive if you don't live near St.Cloud. read more

Used to love this place I used to tell myself I don't understand how they're still in business when they're closed most of the time. Great food I love the greasy burgers, but I don't love the price if they had better operation times where they can make up for their pricing I think would benefit them. I've never spent so much on just a drink alone at a restaurant, but I will tell you, the owners are quite friendly and very lovable. I don't have a problem supporting a small town business, but it's not a place that I'm gonna go too often. I'm raking my stars off of pricing and for the last two times I've been there. First time ever at mutts and I've heard they're the best burgers in town so I had to check them out. I placed my order for pickup and a sweet young lady picked up the phone, insured all the things on my burger were okay and if I wanted to add any additional toppings. I also was greeted by the manager Alysa who was incredibly friendly, attentive, and kind. Upon arrival there is plenty of parking near the side and back of the building. It was pretty busy however by the time I arrived my order was fresh, hot and ready... haha. Very cute space inside, it gives me an old school burger joint. Popular local stop in what looks to be a refurbished gas station. It's not a bad burger. In fact it's probably a lot more food than you would get at most other burger places since the patty is pretty thick and generous. Fries were pretty standard fast food fries nothing to write home about. The burger taste was alright. I don't think it was particularly well seasoned but it was definitely filling. They had a good assortment of condiments and seasonings to fill the void. They also have several other options like a chicken sandwich or I think some sort of melt. Service is at the counter and they bring out the food to you. Super casual place but seems pretty popular amongst people working in Saint Cloud so be prepared for a wait if you're stopping by for lunch on a weekday. read more

Mutt's on 13th has a cool, old school, small-town type vibe. The food inside compliments that cool ambiance, while nothing groundbreaking, Mutt's on 13th brings back the concept of a burger joint that seems to have walked out of the 1950's and plopped itself here in the 21st century. I may have been only mutt inside this location. I did not see any dogs so do not know if they allow pets however with outside seating area you can probably bring your pet and keep them outside. The staff is very friendly, one of the girls even let us know but if we were to call ahead she can make us a batch of fresh cookies to go. They buy their ice cream from a company in South Florida that makes small batch Artisan ice cream. I was very happy with my burger. Nobody else with nor I had any complaints about anything. It's a very nice place to eat that's in an old gas station. I'm finding start up restaurants in old gas stations seem to be as good as food truck quality. When you're tired from working all week and the kids come home from school on a Halloween sugar high, ordering take out is the thing to do! We were able to place our order over the phone snd it was ready in as little as 15 minutes. Inside, staff were NOT wearing masks but they did have distancing disks on the floor to help with spacing. They were quick and courteous, though. I was disappointed to see that my tater tots were missing from the bag when I got home. WOW...I love the mom and pop shop "diner" feel of Mutts. We loved our experience and the food tasted great. Their fries remind us of the Fair Fries and their Onion Rings are incredible. So tasty and yummy. They had a special sauce for dipping onion rings in that was phenomenal. My wife and I went for a date night. I ordered the Patty Melt and onion rings (see pic) and my wife ordered the single cheeseburger with fixings and their fries. I got a soda and my wife got a milk shake. For that we were out $27 and some change. Atmosphere isn't anything to scream about. Seating inside is more plentiful than I expected AND they are practicing social distancing with their seating. They have outdoor picnic tables too for seating as well. We definitely will be back. I want to try some of their other "fried side options - sweet potato fries, tater tots, Cajun fries). I want to try one of their hot dogs too. Not a huge menu but everything looks good enough to try. Well worth it if you are not opposed to a little grease with your meal. Their phrase of "Love, Peace and Burger Grease" is truly a true statement. If you are driving by, it is well worth the stop. It is a "locals" place and don't let the outside scare you away. This place is the picture perfect idea of a mom & pop shop that opened 50 years ago and has never once been updated. Not in a frozen in time aestetic way, more of a run down and beat down way. With that said the food is exceptionally average, at a higher price. Burger,small fries, and small drink will run you over $13 before tip. I've never been wow'd by their burgers. They are extremely average, and greasy. I dont blame them for that, the local Saint Cloud resident isnt health-concious and likely prefers the grease slab, but personally, it makes me nauseous. Walking in here gives me divorced-father-has-his-daughter-on-the-weekends vibes. Impersonal and like not a lot of care is into the building, No attention to detail in quality or upkeep. So we found a new place closer to home that had great burgers so I had to return to Mutts to see if they were still better. YES THEY ARE! The burgers at Mutts are hands down the best. Always cooked to perfection. Fries are excellent and onion rings are fantastic. The burgers have the perfect amount of flavor and juice. The chipotle ketchup is amazing for a little zing.
