It was and still is the perfect place to "WINE"-down and grab an delicious appetizer. Perfect to visit if solo, on a date, or with friends or colleagues after work. This quaint lounge setting offers bar seating, high top tables, lounge and booth seating, as well as patio seating overlooking a the beautiful tree-lined street. They also offer a separate room to host meetings or parties. Appetizers are delicious - I ordered their fried pickles and spinach dip. Just enough to hit the spot. For my cocktail, I selected the a classic apple martini (I know, "who still drinks those still?" Lol...I do...nothing wrong with a classic dahling). Great times and worth the check out. Right "upstairs" from Hungry's, this place is a great spot to chill. Self parking is limited, however they do offer valet. No street parking. Enjoy!

The service stood out right away, very welcoming and friendly, and the food came out extremely fast, which was a plus. As for the food, it was decent overall. The wings had good flavor, but the ranch was a bit watery and could definitely use more seasoning. The onion rings were also good, just needed a little extra seasoning to really bring them up a notch. Overall, it's a solid spot for happy hour with good prices, generous portions, and great service.

My friends and I had a small table on the patio in temperant weather out front. Sunshine, lightly chilly and enough wind to carry a conversation. Cody was our server and he was phenomenal. Very attentive and anticipatory. I wasn't sure what I'd like to drink or eat, but Cody led me to glory. My glass was never empty! Cody's Recommendations: Given that I elected to eat light, I thought I'd drink in fashion, despite my confusion. Cody introduced me to the Pair of Aces. A pear-forward cocktail, starring tequila, Pear and the little utilized Honeysuckle. It was the perfect weight to complement my meal. The Kung Pao Cauliflower Bites are and will remain a staple any time I dine here. The Ahi Tuna Tacos are more than perfectly balanced with gochujang, avocado, sesame and cilantro - and can we talk about those Rosemary Fries? Blasphemy. For the coup de grace, finish with the Hearsay Bread Pudding. A warm symphony of ooey gooey custard, crispyity crunchity flake and rich, dark caramel. Chef's kiss. Do I recommend Hearsay at Levy Park? Does a Bear **** in the woods?

The food was really good. I had the Waygu Burger, a variety of their pizza, shrimp wrapped in bacon, chicken nuggets and their beef empandas. Food came out hot, and I particularly loved the shrimp wrapped in bacon. It had a kick to it, which made it delish. For the drinks, I tried the Cucumber Mocktail and really enjoyed it and got 2! Service was friendly, attentive and I felt like the room was a great size for a party! It was also kid friendly which is a plus, and they have changing tables in the bathroom! Definitely check them out! Only complaint, which has nothing to do with the restaurant.. but we parked across from hearsay and paid for parking using the Parking # signs. The valet attendant yelled at us from across the street to tell us that we'd be towed.. we were super confused considering we paid for it, and there wasn't a sign indicating we couldn't park there. Our friend was skeptical, but ended up moving his car to the parking garage.. and had to pay again for parking. My husband asked an employee at Hearsay and they stated as long as we paid, it was fine. Not sure what the intent of their valet attendant was, but we did not appreciate that!

As an art head and aesthetic enthusiast I've always wanted a Claes Oldenburg installation or architectural wonder open to the public in my city. Around 2012 my wish was granted! Located on the Rice campus, this spot has provided many a memory. Highlighting art, space and nature, this beautifully constructed, sparsely attended, and (imo) under appreciated spot is truly a standout in the community. I understand how this spot may feel ordinary to some, but between this, Rothko chapel, and Menil, all my aesthetic dreams are answered. Pro tip: This installation requires parking at the Rice Campus, and a short walk so be prepared! If you're visiting someone at Rice, St.Thomas TIRR, or the nearby hospital, it's def worth the stop in.

These works of immersive art are meant to have the viewer experience the sky and the surroundings. Twilight Epiphany Skyscape is located on a pyramid mound of earth. It is interesting to see the light sequence projected on the concrete "roof." The 40 minute light sequence starts 40 minutes before sunrise and 10 minutes before sunset. Climb the stairs to the second level seats or sit inside the pyramid. Or view the show from outside the pyramid. I think that is the better view.
