I don't think I would have contacted them with how terrible these other reviews are. Anyway, here is what happened. Chris came to give us a quote for cabinets and shelving in our livingroom. Each time after the initial meeting, he seemed to forget what we had discussed. I mentioned to Cabinet Discounters that he was giving me bad vibes but they said they had worked with the owner multiple times and never had a problem so I booked them. Around the 2nd-3rd day, I realized the team was installing MDF instead of plywood as discussed. I had my husband tell them that we can't do MDF because we'll need to be able to sand and fix any damages in the future, as I had already explained. Chris rage quit the job and I sat in my car until he left because I didn't feel comfortable in my house during the cursing rage quit. The other person, Bryan, said he'd like to stay on the job if we wanted. Bryan was very chill and laid back and we agreed. The owner, Will, came out to chat and figure out a plan. We switched counters to quartz as finding a mill to make a large enough top for the cabinets was going to be difficult. Counter people come out to measure and it turns out Chris hadn't installed the cabinets centered. Bryan and Robert came out to fix that. Bryan did an excellent job on the shelves. We love the look and quality. After caulking, I asked when the hardware for the cabinets would be installed and Bryan said our quote didn't include that. The cabinet doors and drawer fronts were not installed. So, I reached out to the owner, Will, to clarify. Will never responded. Maybe he's on vacation, sick, hates us....? After 5 days of ghosting, I hired Cabinet Discounters to finish the job. They discovered that when the Verizon box was moved, wires were left exposed. My husband works from home and the internet keeps going out. So, not great. The whole job from cabinet arrival to now is around 7-8 weeks so far but now I have to have someone come out to fix that. I would describe the project as stressful and chaotic.
