Found them in a local mailer magazine and scheduled them to do a tune up on my unit. They were in the attic for maybe 2 minutes total and spent about 5 minutes on the outside unit. After having my A/C leak through my ceiling I called another company and they discovered the float switch was not connected. If this was connected my ac would have shut down until the clog in the drain line was cleared. Also the tech called me up into the attic to show me how filthy the inside of the unit was. As I suspected the My AC hook up tech didn't remove the panel or apparently touch the attic unit. Edit to respond to the owner. I have attached my payments to your company for a full AC tune up and some duct work. So now you can see that I am in fact an unhappy former customer. Also any reputable HVAC company includes a detailed cleaning in a tune up. So buyer beware, unless you're willing to babysit these clowns and make sure they're doing what you're paying them too they will do shoddy work or half the job. read more

After many no shows from other companies to have a HVAC/ AC company come out to service our AC units at one of our rental properties we came across my AC hook up and we definitely were not disappointed!! They were punctual and reliable! We definitely will be using them again especially for our rental properties. Do not trust My A/C Hook Up.com. I was having a A/C issue. I found MY A/C Hook Up.com through an ad they had in the neighborhood flyer magazine. Their tech came and suggested that i fix the a/c instead of replacing the unit and said the fix would cost 1500.00. I asked how much to replace the unit. He stated not to replace the unit and he didn't want to entertain the idea of having the unit nor give me a price. He said by me fixing it, I should get a good 2 years and then decide to replace the unit. So I agreed. however, less then 3 months later I again had the same A/C issue. I called them back and told them what had taken place. They told me they let that tech go and they would take care of the issue. They sent a new tech out who said that i do need a new unit and he quoted me 9500.00 to replace the unit if I used their credit or 8000 cash which would include a credit for my previous cost. I then asked about the ad that stated NEW A/C UNITS AS LOW AS 2995.00 . He stated I don't know why they put that in their ad because its not true. He also stated that the quote price is very competitive with other company' and that I'm not going to get much better then that price. I did reach out to another company through Angies list that came out the next day on a Saturday and quoted me 6200.00 cash or credit . Technicians are skilled but management is atrocious. They missed three scheduled appointments for AC tune up, with customer care telling me "they are on their way", "the truck didn't start", or "I'll call you back in 30 minutes" (never called). What a waste of our time. We only pursued this because we had already pre-paid for a so-called "maintenance agreement". Sincerely, if you want to run a small business, please do it correctly. AC-Handler replacement. I had used this company in the past and was very happy with that service. But for the estimate process for the AC Split unit request didn't stack up, was set up with a time frame of 3 hours. I do understand issues come up and cause delays, but I was never called to be updated that he was running late. I only found out cause I called and then it was going to be another 45 minutes. I cancelled told them I had another company, they gave me an over the phone estimate and was $60 cheaper. I stood with the other company and very happy I did. read more

I put in a call on Friday 3/1 for them to come out and look at my A. C they told me they would be here monday, from 11 - 2pm. At two fifteen I called and asked, is anybody gonna show up. Was told the tech was wrapping up at his last job and would be there shortly. Now it's 3:40 and I see the Van pull up the guy gets out walks to my outside unit looks at it gets back in his Van and takes off, never came to my door never knocked, didn't come inside. I am impressed with the speed of the response (and getting appointment for later today) and the pleasant professionalism Mike extended! I will update after the services requested are performed. The tech did call us to let us know he was 30 minutes out, arrived on the time he stated. Well, let me say now that the services are completed I am extremely satisfied with the duct cleaning and the ac maintenance both with specials that the company is offering. We did have an additional charge for an unexpected cleaning requirement for the blower but the price was very good and they offer a senior discount. The Service Tech that came out was professional, knowledgeable and respectful of the property. This company is amazing, I am so happy I found them! Thank you for a great experience. I rarely leave reviews but My AC Hook Up has very unprofessional staff and bad customer service. I called Connie and requested for my AC maintenance. She said that a technician will call me 30 minutes prior to the arrival. The technician not only showed in front of my house unannounced but also had an attitude problem. I told the guy that I was expecting a 30 minute call from him but instead of apologizing he said "I'm just 5 minutes away from your house. Do you want to re-schedule this? We can reschedule this!" This guy clearly doesn't know what a "courtesy call" is. This technician was very RUDE and should attend a customer service training! On the other hand, Connie (who answers the phone) was also very unreliable. She will promise the customer that she will call them back but she wouldn't. Also, she clearly doesn't know the value of time! Customer/s will be waiting for a call back from her forever. My AC Hook Up management should consider reviewing their staff performance as it can affect your business. read more
