This was my first time working with Yourim at My Amazing Looks. Staff & environment: Yourim was friendly and her studio was clean. She wore a mask and gloves during the appointment, which I greatly appreciated. I was confused on the booking website and booked the wrong service type, but we were able to correct this the day of the appointment after she texted me with no issues. Service: The appointment was for a microdermabrasion facial - $130 for 45 mins. For what it costs, I was a bit disappointed that the appointment, aside from the actual microdermabrasion (~5 mins), consisted more of a 4-5 step skincare routine - applying cleanser, applying mask, applying lotion. Application of the mask and sitting in the mask took up most of the appointment time. Extractions, hot facial steam, face/neck massages were not included. Overall: Reading some of the reviews now, it seems that Yourim is more commonly booked for eyelash extensions, rather than skin facials. If I'm ever in the market for an eyelash tech, I'd be happy to check her out again. For facials, I may have to check elsewhere. read more

I got my eyelashes extensions done here and Yourim was so gentle! My lashes feel and look great. I can tell the difference in quality with the lashes she uses compared to other places and they're so much softer. She was able to frame my eyes well and gave me a natural-glam look. read more

This was the worst facials I've ever gotten. She criticized everything that was wrong with my skin instead of talking through what she could do to help like all my other esthetician's I've had. When she applied a mask she left it on there for about 15 minutes while it was sitting she got up and left the room! Not supposed to happen. Yourim told me my eyelashes were going to be $79 for two to three weeks refill. When she finished she charged me $200. I felt lied to because she should have disclosed to me that it was going to be $200 and not $79. After I tried to negotiate the rate to $130, because I could not afford $200, she wouldn't let me leave until I paid her the full amount. After an hour of going back and fourth, and after she chased me down to my car I paid her the full amount. She is a horrible person who finds the opportunity to scam people. I cant rave enough about the quality of work. You get what you pay for! I had tried other chain places and they ruined my natural lashes, now my lashes are getting stronger and lashes are still amazing at 2 weeks. The glue she uses is like magic. My Amazing Looks with Yourim was amazing. She is truly one of the best esthetician I have ever been to. She understands exactly what your skin needs with just one look at your skin. She took the time to assess my skin and came up with a treatment plan that blew my skin trouble out the park.
