For years, my wife expressed unhappiness with the thinness and irregularity of her eyebrows. She would spend a lot of time every morning filling them in with an eyebrow pencil. She did a good job, but it took up too much time. When she first mentioned wanting to have her eyebrows tattooed on, I was not supportive. To me, it seemed ridiculous to have something so permanent done. What if one of the tattoos was crooked, too thin, too fat, off-center, or who knows what? Ultimately, it was her decision to make. When she finally decided to commit to visiting BrowBeat, I was blown away by the final result. I also learned that the process is called microblading, and it is not the same as traditional tattooing. Microblading does require touchups over time, as fading occurs. This is actually a good thing, since it enables the shape of the eyebrow to be slowly modified if desired as the years progress. My wife's eyebrows look so natural that it's hard to believe she had anything done. There is nothing unnatural about the final result. She has gone for touchups the past two years, and this year (2023) was her third visit. It's really quite remarkable. My wife is so happy with the results, and I am relieved and happy too. I will say it was the smallest waiting I ever been into. when i saw Dr. Turner... all I can say... "I am not so sure...." feeling. Would you hire an overweight personal trainer?? Would you hire crappy dressed person to be your wardrope makeover person? Would you go see a plastic surgery doctor who looks like had an awful face job?? You definately won't see a dentist who has all messed teeth, right? You know where I am going... But I was already there so I showed her my Keloid scar & asked for a steriod shot to calm my scar down. She gave me a shot and also suggested a scar cream. I asked her "my other dermatology doctor told me there is no cream that can get rid of my scar." Her respond was "I disagree!". So she gve me a perscribtion & said this compound pharmacy won't charge me if I don't want it or if my insurance won't cover it. Well, all I can say that compound pharmacy charged my yearly spending account $50 then sent me the cream I didn't even authorize it. I returned the cream & they say they will reimburse it but never got the money back. When I called them, they said they refunded but my perscribtion company couldn't find the record. So, I don't know who to ask $50 back. Why is it soooo hard to find a good dermatologist & dentist in Irving????

A staff member, who I strongly suspect had little to no experience, administered tear trough filler after talking me into it. The results were immediately wrong. I asked for it to be dissolved right away. What followed was weeks of runaround. They had me return every two weeks, and with each visit their attitude worsened, especially once I declined their repeated pressure to purchase additional services. I came in wanting a small, natural result. They saw a revenue opportunity. After multiple attempts, they were unable to fully dissolve the filler. I am now seeking treatment from a licensed dermatologist to fix what they could not. The practice is run by someone with no medical credentials, not a physician, not a nurse practitioner, not an aesthetician with any verifiable expertise. The medical authority here appears to be a nurse who seemed undertrained for the procedures being performed. A medical spa performing injectables should be overseen by a licensed physician on site. This one is not. If something goes wrong, and it did for me, there is no qualified person there to fix it. Avoid this place. The consequences can be permanent.
