I come here every 2 weeks Today i showed up later then usual because it said they closed until 8 . When I showed up the lady turn off the open sign on me and lock the door as soonest she saw me getting off my car. This was Friday 2-7 they suppose to close at 8pm read more

I got here at 7:15 and the open sign was still on. As soon as I pulled into the parking spot, one of the workers locked the door and cut the open sign off. I called and she said that they closed at 7pm. if you closed at 7pm the door would've already been locked and the light would've been off. I'm so glad I didn't spend my money here. Avoid this place at all cost because they obviously have horrible customer service and can't tell time. read more

Currently my favorite threading spot in the Metroplex! I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to be seen and they always do an impeccable job on my brows. They are following Covid precautions by requiring masks and they are wiping down seats between customers with cleaning solution. They have gone up from $6 (pre-Covid) to $7 but I still feel the service is worth it. I've had different Ladies work on me and they've all been great, can't recommend this place highly enough! read more

Now I ask for Yasda a the lady to thread my eyebrow. She is fast, precise and knows what she's doing. I went yesterday and I only got cut once on my eyebrow. I know that still sucks but she is better than the old lady. Taking away a star since I still got cut from the threading. read more

Really glad to find a threading place nearby! I got in on a quiet Saturday afternoon, and was able to be seen in within a couple minutes. I moved to the area about a month ago and needed a new threading spot close to home or another SOI salon. My first time coming to Bollywood (on a weekend) there was only 1 lady that appeared to be working and no one greeting or giving instructions. I think she may have been doing hair or some kind of service that isn't as fast as eyebrow threading. After a while of observing this with others ahead of me and no idea on timing/availability, I just left. I could've asked but it was a Sunday and there are other places. I found a SOI in Las Colinas in the Hightower Salon building off LBJ which worked out. I gave Bollywood a 2nd try on a Monday, and it was a better experience. A lady told me to sign in, and within a few minutes I was seen. I feel like there was an area where she may have taken off more hair than necessary and could've combed over the hair to hide it but it could've been how she trimmed... other than that, the brows look good. The esthetician was pleasant and not rushing. Great location, no bells or whistles, just affordable threading off MacArthur. The only reason I didn't give a solid 4 is because of the first impression experience. Guess we'll see what my 3rd impression holds.. Tip: Pay cash to pay a little bit less - $5 instead of $6 with cc. Thanks for the tip fellow yelpers! read more

Worst experience ever!!!! One of the girls, named Shabnam, did a full face waxing for me and managed to peel a chunk of my skin around my cheekbone. When I nicely asked about this, she, with a full-on attitude, replied, "It must be your skin," and just stood there staring, doing nothing when I was in pain. Shabnam was so horrible that some other lady working there named Yasodha had to intervene and ask her to get me some ice. My god! I have been waxing for ages without such issues. It was the first time I encountered a service provider who blamed it on the skin. She never apologized once. Rather than offering apologies and waiver of the service fees, she made me pay the cost and dared to ask for a "TIP." She looked down on me when I did not add a tip while paying. The AUDACITY!!!. The girl was rude and unprofessional. She had zero accountability for what she did, as she did not even apologize once. However, the other girl, Yasodha, was kind and compassionate. I have visited this salon multiple times, and most of the girls are nice. However, Shabnam was horrible. @Shabnam, you could go look at my payment history. I Tip service providers well. You not getting the tip had to do with the fact that you were awful at your job and horrible at how you treated me. read more

Found this salon by accident as I was on my way to another salon. I saw it as I was going towards the 114 and made a u-turn. I pulled into the parking lot and went inside and was warmly greeted. I looked at their prices and I was amazed by their prices. It was just $5 for eyebrow threading! That is such an awesome deal as most salons are $8 or more. I told them that I was there just for my eyebrows and I waited less than five minutes. The lady who did my eyebrows was very professional and kind, but it did hurt a little bit. Some of that may be on my part as I hadn't had my eyebrows done in over a month. I think that I need to have them done every couple of weeks and it would not hurt as much. She left my eyebrows looking so nice! They had a great and even shape. To finish and help with any redness she added some aloe vera to my eyebrow and eye area. All of the ladies in there were so kind and welcomed me to return to do a full threading of my face. She mentioned that it was good for cleansing purposes and helped with acne. I will definitely think about getting this done, but may need someone to hold my hand! As a note bring cash as the prices are a $1 more if you use your card. Otherwise this salon has a lot available--not just threading, but hair treatments, facials, and so much more. read more

Great place for a quick and super cheap eyebrow threading! Been here a few times for emergencies and there is never much of a wait and the girls are super efficient and know what they are doing. $5 for an eyebrow threading! Tip: definitely bring cash for tip, although they do take card--cash is strongly preferred! My first time I didn't have cash and felt bad. read more

This is a one stop shop for all of your waxing and threading needs! All of the folks in there are skilled at what they do. There is no better feeling than going into a spa and/or salon and being confident in the fact that anyone in the place could work on you and do a stellar job. I am in and out of there in minutes when I go to get my brows done. Lately I've been getting all of my beauty stuff done closer to home so I'm happy I just kind of discovered this place at random. Right now I much prefer threading as the way to shape my brows, the look comes out clean and beautiful every time. I never have to worry if a brow looks out of place (which is the WORST) they are consistently done to perfection. It seems like I also don't have to go as often as with waxing. Bring a tip and 5 bucks cash and you are set. So far I am pleased and will continue going here. read more

Great for eyebrows threading. Usually quick and painless compare to other places. Because of Covid-19 they've increased prices on few of the services, but $7 for eyebrows threading is still reasonable price. Staff are also nice. read more

I just noticed this place recently so I thought I'd give it a try. This was my second brow threading and, like at Everest Threading a few weeks ago, I apologized for my personal plucking hack job I have subjected myself to for my entire adult life. They were a little busy but I only had to wait about 5 minutes. The person doing the threading (hmm, are they called "threader"?) was super friendly and fast. She definitely knew what she was doing. After the threading, she applied a calming cream to my eyebrows while massaging my forehead! Nice! I was very pleased with the service & didn't receive the scolding like at the previous salon! And to top it all off, since I live in Las Colinas, it is closer and they only charge $5! I'm a fan!! read more

I've been to this place four times now and I recommend asking for Jasmine! She takes her time and does a nice job. I normally ask for a clean up since I have a shape to my eyebrows already. I couldn't remember the other two girls that did my brows but took them maybe 5-7 mins and Jasmine always takes about 15 mins and I think it helps with the burns. She's not rushing through pulling a bunch of hair at once. $5 cash $6 credit card read more

Had eyelash extensions done-I was sold on price. They are not the individual lashes. About 5 hours after I had them done they were already falling off. Had to go to the store and buy some glue to buy me time until the next day when I could go in and get fixed. They fixed them for me at no charge. Let's hope they last a week while I'm on vacation They Decided to charge an extra dollar for eyebrow threading if you use a card...I've been coming here for over 3 years...never been charged for using my card and there is no sign posted anywhere...if it was posted-fine but not written anywhere. Woman checking me out just said $6 card...didn't answer if it was a new policy at all. read more

I've been here a few times and I like the service I've received. But this was my first time getting my face waxed at this salon and I have a terrible burn :( I'm really disappointed, especially becauee I told the person doing my face a number of times the hot wax was way too hot! I'm not someone who keeps grudges, so I will return to get my eyebrows threaded, but no waxing here. read more

They are cheap that's the only good things I can say. The staff however are rude and the lady who was doing my eyebrows would just wipe my eyebrows with a tissue and just throw it on me like I was trash....I would move it from my body and she would do it again. For some reason I really can't stand that so I just don't go there anymore. Also, they don't do a good job, I used to come here for emergencies but last time I went they made my eyebrows way too far apart that even my guy friends noticed...never again. read more

Please pay in caEach time I've gone, it's never really a wait for service. The ladies who have done my brows do an amazing job. I only wish they had name tags or something so I could ask for the specific girl by name. They have a log in system at the register, write your name down type of deal. They should move the log in system away from the register so people can check in and out and not have wait for the people checking out and vice versa. I got stuck behind a lady that had a million questions one time as I was trying to check in. But over all, it's a good brow place and they are super affordable. $5 for threading, I'm able to leave a good tip, I'm used to paying $10 without the tip at my old place. read more

I've been coming here with the recommendation of my coworker. I would recommend Sapna, she doesn't overdue the plucking/threading. I did go recently when Sapna wasn't there and the ends of my brows are really thin. It's a hit or miss with whoever you get as with any place. read more

Bollywood hooked up my eyebrows and my eyelashes and it was only $20 bucks! I didn't know they offered eyelashes, so I was surprised to find they did, and a fill was only $15. They used bundles instead of individuals as I had previously but after they finished, it blended just fine. They also do hair and facials and I'm coming back later this week for eyebrow tinting. So excited o found this place. Great prices, no appointment necessary and the girls are cool. read more

All the other five stars reviews are dead on!!!! they do take their time on you and not rush you in and out. I like that there was no wait! They manage to get you in and out without waiting but still really take care of you! I didn't see them clean the chairs in between clients but I don't think there was anybody in the chair I sat on before me. Prices are cheaper than at other places and I definitely feel like I got more after! Brows threading for $5 or brows and upper lip for $8. Full face is $20. Those prices cannot be beat and they are very affordable! read more

This has become my new Aisha's (for those of you from Houston) without the crowds. My first experience was a bit painful as the threader was very slow but today's threader was quick and good! They even give you a mini massage when they put lotion on your brows at the end. Great service, Great prices - $5 eyebrows! and convenient location right off the highway! read more

I know accidents happen, and I wasn't upset about the mistake itself, but it did make the experience uncomfortable. Slowing down a bit could help make the service feel smoother and more relaxing. That said, I want to give credit where it's due. Rani was very detail-oriented when it came to shaping my eyebrows. She took the time to make sure they were even, well-groomed, and nicely trimmed. Right after my appointment, I wasn't sure how I felt about the final result. Now that a couple of days have passed, I've actually grown to really like them. Looking back, I appreciate how clean and polished my eyebrows look. Overall, I'd describe my experience as mixed. The actual quality of the eyebrow shaping was very good, but the threading experience itself left me a little uneasy. They then sent a text on the day of my appt two hours before to say the tech had the flu and they would have to reschedule me and gave me 5 or so random appt choices during the morning hours as if I don't work. So very unprofessional. If you value your time do not waste it on this establishment. I overlooked the contract, the high prices and the long timeframe for the service but I will not compromise on how I am treated. I called to schedule an appointment Saturday December 27th at noon. I was greeted by a man outside that held the door open and welcomed me to the spa. He was very nice and my review does not reflect the service I received from him. However, the lady doing my pedicure Katy is unlicensed and has zero experience doing nails and shouldn't be allowed to work. I came in with Gel polish that required removal she proceeded to drill my nails down very thin and apply a knock off gel removal product that immediately started to burn my skin. I told her my feet were burning and I need to put them in the water and she proceeded to apply another layer of gel polish remover and drill and filed my toenail more the entire removal process took more than the actual pedicure service. She drilled and filled my toe nails down some more and then put a mix of acetone and alcohol on my feet which caused them to burning more. Then scrubbed my burning feet with salt scrub and limes. She also was cross contaminating from the brush she used on my back on to the acetone pump. The owner @igoftaytay refused to accommodate my horrible experience by giving me a full refund or even apologize she was only concerned with her staff getting paid and only offered me $20 off for the gel. My toe nails and thin, rough and half polished as well as burnt from a nail tech working in her establishment that has no idea how to do a simple gel pedicure. I would not recommend the Irving location Her Nail Bar or LUXX in Richardson due to the lack of empathy and compassion the owner refused me. She is unfamiliar with the rules and regulations of providing and safe service or quality customer service.
