I was seated and received a menu. I usually have the 2 meat player with smoked sausage and hot link. I noticed the price was up to 19.99 and Thts without a drink, tax or a tip. First off this is crazy for 2 sausages with a couple sides and secondly 20 bucks for lunch is a little high. Don't get me wrong their food is good and has great smoky flavor but just not worth it to me. The server was very nice when i told her I was going to pass because of the price increases. It's too bad as they are local and the food is decent. Just too expensive IMO. read more

Our second time coming. We got the pulled pork chips, so so good! Homemade chips were so crisp, very tasty smoky pulled pork & a house made sauce. Also got the bacon burger with fries. (My all time favorite bbq sauce is Troy Riedel's, but this is my 2nd favorite!!!!) The sausages tasted wonderful too!!! I had a baked potato with all the fixins' & it was yumiloso!!!! Also I had their baked beans!!! You could make a meal out of those too! Fabulous!!!! The banana pudding is something you gotta take to other people's cook outs and pretend it's yours!!! Just dropped by and we both ordered brisket sandwiches that came with homemade chips to go. We got in the car and started eating the chips. They were stale like they had been sitting around. We ended up throwing them away. The sandwich bread was full of oil it was bizarre. I asked about the sauce and they said the sauce was mixed in the meat. Sorry, but there wasn't any sense of sauce in the meat. We didn't get any utensils and we had to eat the meat with our hands since the oil filled bread crumpled and all the meat fell out and was in the container. Sadly disappointed in a spontaneous stop there to eat. read more

Great BBQ place right here in Choctaw! The sauce is made in house, is unique, and has a depth of flavor that's hard to find. We've been here a few times and it's consistently great! Start with a friendly greeting when you walk in the door. Service is friendly, knowledgeable and fast, and if you're hungry, the wait for your food to arrive is very short! Tonight I had the pulled pork sandwich with very tasty southern green beans. Kevin had the brisket sandwich with chips that are also made in house. Both were so big we didn't quite finish them even though our taste buds were saying "More! More!" Give this place a try! Oh! Understaffed! Service was slow and mediocre. Tables are too close together! Hillbilly atmosphere. Prices way too high. Ribs and okra were ok, but Swadley's is better. Catfish and shrimp were mediocre and tartar sauce was weird and runny. Potato chips were bad. Very noisy restaurant. Cheap napkins. Food served in baskets, so you have to eat with your hands. Lots of parking , quick service, good music, we had the pulled pork poppers,my husband had the three meat plate with two sides, it was so much he'd to take half of it home. I had the catfish and jumbo shrimp. He was pleased with his choice I enjoyed the jumbo shrimp the catfish was good but I'm not a fan of the tartar sauce I'm very picky about my tartar sauce so I brought it home to have it with my tartar sauce. We had a chance to try out a new local bbq place, and we were very pleased. I love what they have done with the space, and there is a lot of room to accommodate larger parties. I was actually hungry for fried catfish, and this hit the spot. It was an ample serving, plenty to share if you wanted to. I chose fried okra for the side dish, and it was good as well. Hubs had a brisket sandwich with potato wedges, and he enjoyed it. The staff was attentive and kind. We will be back! read more

One of our friends gave us a gift card and it I was extremely pleased. The service was wonderful! The food was delicious! They had a fellow singing tonight and he had a beautiful voice and it's was enjoyable and not too loud. My husband got the fried Catfish and fries. I got the bacon cheeseburger in a lettuce wrap. The lettuce was so fresh and didn't have the chemical taste that some restaurants have. It was so good! I wish I had taken a picture. read more

MY BBQ AND GRILL (14359 NE 23rd, in Choctaw Plaza) - Open 11am to 8pm (closed Monday) I finally made it in recently and my pulled pork sammie was delicious! (and I'm from Memphis so I know good Q!) I enjoyed the slaw & caramelized onions on it and the bun was tasty too. I upgraded to fried okra on the side and it came out hot & crispy. They make their sauces homemade - the spicy one isn't very hot, but definitely more flavorful than the mild. Looking forward to trying more of the meats @ dinnertime. This is one I'm in the fence about. First service was fantastic. Our waiter was friendly and on top of his game. Atmosphere was local bbq joint and very clean. Food was mediocre. Ate there this weekend was a great experience. Started with the fried mushrooms and loaded buffalo chicken fries. The fries are more like small wedges taste great. Then had the one meat with salad and baked beans. All taste amazing. Son had the chopped brisket with Mac and cheese a salad with ranch. Pretty decent small town restaurant. Hamburgers are great! Ribs can be hot or miss but are usually pretty good.

These are some of the nicest people on the planet and the food is always excellent. I recommend the jalapeño poppers for your appetizer. I love the meatloaf entree (really love everything) and pick a dessert, you'll love them all! read more

We waited well over a hour once seated to get our food. They were clearly under staffed, but rude & forgetful. We waited for far too long to even have our order taken (at least 30 minutes), then we had a missing appetizer (ended up coming out with the entrees) & a missing order. Restaurant was a little cold, clean, but a little noisy with 3 televisions going with volume up. Person I was with stated potato salad was a bit bland. It needed more mayo and a bit of mustard.
