And Cheryl-- OMG We absolutely LOVED Cheryl-- she was extremely knowledgeable and funny and just was overall pleasant to tour with. Black History has never been displayed and told as well as our tour guides, Mrs. Carol Goitia (our coordinator) and Ms. Cheryl, a remarkable, knowledgeable tour guide with exceptional charisma. Our ears were pressed to her lips as she guided us from Anacostia, pass the White House to the Martin Luther King Memorial. There was more history than we anticipated or could absorb. This was a tremendous event climaxing our observance of Black History Month. We finished realizing that it's not about a month, it's about life and our rich history. I was reminded about my phone but the bag had fallen to floor and I forgot it I called an hour later, they had it and delivered it the next day to my office--license, credit cards and cash all there, boxed up.
