My Dad and I were visiting my mom in a nearby hospital when hunger called. I got on Yelp and found this Giovanni's location was about 10 minutes away. It's on top of a hill with a small parking lot but we found a spot. We ordered and paid for a 12-inch pizza at the counter. We had some toppings on the entire pizza while other toppings were half and half. We were given our cups so we grabbed our Pepsi and found a booth. An employee came by our table and gave us silverware. When our pizza was brought to our table I could not believe all the toppings! No other Giovanni's location was so generous with pizza toppings. The pizza was hot and the ingredients were fresh! I ate one more piece than I needed to but it was worth it LOL;) The manager or owner, not sure which, came by everyone's table to ask if everything was okay and did we need anything. Now that was service you don't see much of these days. I would absolutely come back to this Giovanni's location!

For the meal, they have a Latte menu with all sort of flavors available (hot or cold). I had the delicious breakfast wrap with gravy with banana nut bread. My husband had biscuits & sausage gravy with a long donut chaser (dessert). I loved the quaint feel of this place. It felt warmer and more inviting than most cafes I've been in. I had ordered 1/2 pepperoni/sausage. the other half plain cheese. my grandson just likes cheese. The whole pizza was pepperoni and sausage. I know it sounds picky but it never fails. I've had it delivered they forget the drink or they'll forget the chips. it's always something. Everytime I order from them something is wrong. I love the pizza but they just can't seem to get it together. Ever since they changed ownership a few years ago. They continue to go downhill. I sure do miss when Mike Comptson and his sister Dawn.
