They're alterations are fierce . My encounters with them were always professional and they were very helpful. From recommending different panties to purchase during the fitting to steaming the dress before pick up. I hated my maid of honor dress when I first purchased and walked away loving it. I would definitely recommend them for anyone needing alterations. read more

I usually don't leave reviews but the amount of business I have given this place over the last 6 months with 3 weddings, I could only laugh to keep from doing the unthinkable. These shoes were rented to me for my sons participation in a wedding. I returned them showing the owner and requesting a refund for the shoes. He claimed that it wasn't his fault it was the "company's". My son had to wear sneakers during the wedding because the sole fell completely off. He fumbled through receipts making excuses. I just couldn't argue over 20 dollars anymore but I won't be back and I don't recommend anybody else to either. read more

This shop is horrible. I made an appointment for 1pm- we arrived and went upstairs to the bridesmaid dress section - they need to do a SERIOUS remodel. It felt like every dress since 1990 were smushed onto the racks. No one greeted us, so my girls just started thumbing through the racks. I found someone and told them I had a 1pm appointment and they said a room would open soon but to start pulling dresses. So we did. And we waited. Finally the dressing room opened but it looked like something out of a horror movie and you had to swim through a sea of wedding gowns, prom gowns and flower girl dresses to get there. My girls and I were so uncomfortable that we just left after 20 minutes and no one said a thing... very sad and disappointing. read more

My Daughter's Wedding Shop is a good option when looking for attire for a bridal party. This includes tuxedo rental for the groom and groomsmen. They also sell formal attire. There is an incredibly large selection and the staff is very efficient. I came here to assist my nephew with renting a tux for a wedding and began browsing some of the bridal and formal gowns in the upstairs area before we left. Looking at some of those gowns made me want to get married all over again! read more

I went with a friend to help find a bridesmaid gown. There was a surprisingly large and very reasonable selection. The young woman who assisted us was extremely helpful---offering up ideas and solutions (we were in a time crunch, so my friend had to consider buying off the rack rather than pre-ordering). The atmosphere is extremely no-frills. In the end we bought elsewhere, but if you are looking for bridal wear and happen to be in the Olney area, it is worth the trip. My wedding is Sunday and My daughters Wedding made this the worse experience ever for me with my wedding dress and also my bridesmaids dresses. They tried to over charge me for a used dress, and wanted me to pay $500 for it, they have changed the price from $300-$500 talking about they are giving me a deal. The material is very cheap and can rip at any moment. I left My daughters Wedding and went to davids Bridal and received a brand new wedding gown for $99. I decided to still get my bridesmaid dresses there since they were locked into a $50 downpayment contract. After 5 of my girls bought the dresses in full, 2 of my girls were unable to pay the remaining $150, so I called to see if they could work with them with just renting the dresses and they agreed to allow them to rent the dresses for $50 and give them $20 back once the wedding was over. When it was time for the girls to pick up the dresses they changed the prices and the agreement and would not honor what we discussED, One of the dresses were so wrinkled they had to steam it before we could get it. THIS HAS BEEN THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER NOW 2 OF MY GIRLS CANNOT BE IN THE WEDDING BECAUSE OF THIS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL FAMILY COMPANY THAT DOESNT PUT THEIR CUSTOMERS FIRST. This shop is horrible. The sales reps are all over the place and help is only available if you sit there for awhile looking through catalogs. I ordered my dress had two fittings and the wedding i am in is this Saturday and my dress was not only not complete but then they wanted to add extra fees for something I paid for mths in advance. This was the worst experience I ever had buying from a retail store. First the store looks ran down and the clothes looks dirty and cost a lot. Then I ordered a bridal gown, and two bridesmaid dresses out of a book, and I don't think the order was ever placed. I tried to cancel it and was told it was too late cause it was 12 days I placed order (only up to10 days) was acceptable. Next, I tried to go to my bank to get the money back and it was stopped. MAKE SURE YOU ASK TO READ THEIR POLICY BEFORE YOU PLACE AN ORDER, BECAUSE THEY DON'T SHOW IT TO YOU UP FRONT! I asked can the (bridesmaid) dresses be kept and be back for the prom in May? They said will be back the beginning of April. I called and they weren't ordered and back yet and it is April 12th. They just said oh well, we'll have 3 dresses we have to try to sell. I hope they don't try to charge my account for the other dresses. THEIR SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!!! I DON'T RECCOMMEND ANYBODY GOING THERE. read more

I called the store to make an appointment and spoke to someone named "Bruce." I explained that I was looking to purchase a dress that very day and I was told that I didn't need an appointment. I arrived at the store and asked for Bruce and was told to go upstairs. When I went up there was no male employee in sight. There were signs posted that "fittings were by appointment only" and "no trying on dresses." Event if I was able to try on dresses I was immediately turned off by the atmosphere. The dresses on display were dirty. There were customers being fitted for dresses out in the open. If you could call a five feet wide area open. It was tough to distinguish employees from customers because no one had a name tag. Wanting to speak to Bruce, I went back downstairs and asked again for "Bruce" and was then told they had no employee there named Bruce. I wasted my time and money paying for parking. read more
