Dr. Jakob squeezed me into his busy schedule after I suffered over a four-day holiday weekend with lightning-bolt pain radiating across the entire right side of my mouth. Seeing my obvious distress, he immediately gave me four shots to get the pain under control--a wonderful start. My case was complicated. I had a single tooth with four calcified, narrowed roots that required complex root canal therapy. Dr. Jakob worked with determined, gentle precision. He has an incredible calming manner that helped me to relax. I felt like a team player working in tandem with him and his lovely assistant, Tanya. In fact, Dr. Jakob's entire hand-picked staff is the absolute epitome of empathy. As someone who is both claustrophobic and dental-phobic, I never imagined I could get through an ordeal like this. But I did, and I am so grateful. I'm recovering well by following his post-op instructions and, I am truly counting my blessings--Dr. Jakob is now one of them. Quadrupled up on OTC pain killers, repeatedly, very little effect; I was climbing the walls for 2 days. Receptionist says Pain is OK, I hung up on her. He refused to prescribe the appropriate pain killers to get me past the second day. I explained to him that is his job, to know the possible pain level, to get out ahead of it, prescribe appropriately and judiciously. I am not a child, I can conduct myself appropriately also. He is not warm, he is cold with a facade. Bathroom is a 10 minute walk, and he does not tell you that you must spend even more money to get the cap put on the root canal. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ Office looks great, staff is young and without any life experience, but nice. Chaim Jakob should not be in a position of causing that kind of pain. He does not possess the wisdom, compassion, judiciousness and savvy to inflict a root canal and cause 48 hours of hell. I have more work that needs doing but it will be anyone but him. DFK

So a client of mine mentioned to visit Dr. Cohen. In all honesty I always was skeptical of these whitening treatments but I decided to give it a shot. Spoiler alert ....Boy was I wrong. The treatment took around 2 hours and the technician helping me was so delicate and patient. I was very comfortable during the treatment and got to watch a movie. They took before and after photos and it was a night and day difference. That same week I received my first compliment ever on my white smile. It's wonderful when you find a great doctor. I already have a great dentist (see that review…read moreseparately), but I needed to have two root canals (because one wouldn't be nearly as much fun as having two) and Dr. Prusakowski was the endodontist who they recommended. He is a bit of a drive being up in Boca, but he was worth the trip. First, the office is clean and well done. It's very cheery and inviting and it doesn't make you feel like you're about to die. Like some dental offices I've been to in South Florida (that's a separate review too). The front office staff are very nice and that's important. I was brought to the back and Dr. Prusakowski came in. He is awesome. Very nice, very personable. It turns our we're both originally from Pennsylvania and his mother's family comes from my area. What a small world. He looked at my x-rays and we discussed the treatment, and then he got to work. To say this place is state of the art would be an understatement. I've had root canals and I managed a dental office, but this place is far beyond anything I've seen before. And I was incredibly impressed at both the speed and accuracy of the work he was doing (using a microscope, that was just blowing me away), and his rapport with Ingrid, his assistant. She is amazing as well. She is very much an extension of his own hands. And the root canals? Pretty much painless. Even the injections didn't hurt. I never felt a thing throughout the procedures, even though he had to extirpate three roots. If you have to have a root canal, at least know there is a dentist who is going to do it well, with a minimal amount of discomfort in a very nice office with very nice staff. Looking at Dr. Prusakowski's other reviews, I see I'm not the only one who finds him to be excellent.

I've been to other endodontists…read morebefore and none compare to Dr Schapiro in terms of skill, care, politeness, comfort and overall experience. The staff members are very pleasant and positive. Until now, I've never had a professional office of any type call me in advance to let me know doctor is a little behind schedule and I should arrive later. How considerate! I was referred to Dr. Schapiro for a possible root canal re-treatment but when he looked at my x-ray, he recommended an apicoectomy, which is basically a root canal through the gums. Seemed like a much better solution than pulling the tooth as my dentist had recommended. The procedure went well due to Dr. Schapiro's skill. His staff provided a neck pillow and a soft, warm blanket to keep me comfortable. Throughout the procedure, Dr. Schapiro asked if I was doing okay. And he repeatedly thanked his assistant for each task she performed. So polite! The atmosphere in this office is so welcoming and uplifting that my consternation about being there quickly faded away. Dr. Schapiro called me after the procedure and had me return a couple of times (at no extra cost) just to be sure I was healing well. I highly recommend Dr. Schapiro. I'd been going back and forth for about 2 years with a tooth that had a deep filling on it and I was told that I'd probably eventually need a root canal. After putting a temporary crown on it and watching and waiting to see if the pain goes away, it went away for about 2 weeks and then returned. At this point, I was pretty sure I needed a root canal. My uncle just retired as an endodontist and did a root canal for me before, so I knew I needed to find another one. I don't settle for just anybody when it comes to my teeth because one thing I take good care of and invest in are my teeth and my health. I believe you get what you pay for and I don't shop around for deals when it comes to these things. Also, I'd never let a general dentist do a root canal on me. They're not trained in it and shouldn't be doing it. And quite honestly, no offense to the goyim, but I prefer my dentists to be Jewish. I went online and found Dr. Lerner's excellent reviews, so I gave him a call. From the moment I spoke to his wife Barbara on the phone, I felt comfortable. I told her I'm terrified of dental work and she reassured me that I'm going to the best. I soon learned that she wasn't just saying that because he's her husband, but because he really is the best. She said that she had 5 root canals done by him and never felt a thing. Not to mention he invented many endodontic procedures that are used in every endodontist office today and has impressive education credentials. His reviews on Google speak for themselves. He has people that fly in from all over the world to see him for a root canal. He even worked on Frank Sinatra! It just so happened that my sister and I needed root canals at the same time, so we went together. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were in the right place and Barbara is so pleasant and really calms you down. The whole office was so laid back and friendly. I loved their on staff Bichon named Coquette. I'm a dog lover so this really helped calm me down even more. His assistant was able to get x-rays on me with ease on the first try, and it's usually very tough to get them on me. From the moment Dr. Lerner gave me the injection of Novacaine, I didn't feel a thing. He's by far the most gentle dentist I've been to. I could've gone to sleep I was so comfortable and Dr. Lerner was hilarious! He tells jokes as he works to keep you relaxed. But this is the most important thing for me, the numbness wore off 4 hours ago and I have absolutely NO pain. ZERO! I was worried about afterwards because after my first root canal, I had pain afterwards. I've had more pain after a filling than I have from today. He wasn't the cheapest endodontist around, but I wasn't looking for a deal because I believe that's when you get botched work, I paid $1,500 and it was worth every penny. I really hope I never need a root canal again because I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else when Dr. Lerner retires.

I needed A top denture, which required the majority of my upper teeth to be extracted During my consultation, Dr Teodoru himself, took the time to sit with me and explain in detail every step of the procedure, I don't ever recall having the doctor himself take the time out to do that, instead of another member of the staff. By the time I left my consultation, all of my fears and anxieties were gone and I knew this is going to be a positive experience. When I showed up for my actual appointment, I had very little anxiety, and my nerves were actually not completely shot. In 2 1/2 hrs, I walked out with a complete top denture after having all my upper teeth extracted. I still cannot believe that they did both extractions and Dentures all during the same appointment, and it took under three hours from beginning to end! I would absolutely recommend this dentist to anyone in need of extractions, cosmetic dentistry, implants, and so on. Oh, and did I forget to mention that they are incredibly reasonable!!!!!!
