I think I've spent 4months or so total time admitted to the place. Maybe more. 99% of the time I get spectacular service and treatment from amazing doctors. Have only had 1 absolute terrible experience with the ultra sound department. That catastrophe alone is why I took a star away. Several cafes, gift shops, cafeterias, and little bodega-type shops are around the entire hospital. Free valet parking. Amazing people. Beautiful artwork and one beyond-awesome garden area full of blown glass art. Going to the hospital to see that area is worth a trip, even if you don't 'need' to be in the hospital. I live in South Sioux City, NE; two hours away. And I have incredibly easy access to health care in my town and Sioux City, IA. But, I come down to Omaha for my major health needs. That's how good this place is. I'm thankful for the doctors here that literally have saved my life. More than once.

They should also tell you when you make the appointment to wear workout clothes if you're there for a physical. Had to walk on a treadmill, do lunges and squats all in a skirt cuz no one warned me.

The health care professionals really listened to me, treated me with respect, conducted both flu and Covid test (both negative) and gave me a diagnosis with a "surprising" addition. The addition is both ears have inner ear infections! Now I know why I have headaches and dizziness. The staff is attentive and spoke with clear plan language that I could understand. They told me what I needed to do and meds to take for the next week. It has been one day since going to Urgent Care, and I feel that I am on the road to recovery.
