    Audrey in her new digs!!!

I love My Garden Nursery so much! I went in to see about a medium for my new Venus Flytrap, Audrey. They did not have any on hand but Lucy in the Jungle graciously offered to make me some. I always have a great experience here, and today was above and beyond. Thank you from me and Audrey. xoxoxo-Tammy

I found this gem while I was driving to the store and decided to stop by. I am a new plant mom, and wanted to check out what this place was about. I was really impressed and amazed by what a great selection this place offered on so many home plants and outdoor plants. This place is huge with so many pots, decorations, and anything else you would need. Upon entering there are three main areas (clearance, plants, jungle, and main store). The clearance area has plant, pots and decorations. The plants outside varied by succulents, flowers, roses, etc. The jungle was amazing, with hanging plants, pots from local artist, flowers, and the rainbow wall which had so many different pots in various colors and sizes. The main area had everything you could find in the rest of the store with the addition of plant tables, knick knacks, and misc items like socks, soap, and puzzles. The highlight of my trip was meeting one of the employee's Nancy (hope I got the name right). She was so patient with me, answering my questions, giving me advice, and information about how to take the best care of my new plant babies. I really was amazed by her knowledge of the plants and patience to chat with me. Highly recommend!

I was overwhelmed by their huge inventory of every plant you could imagine. Beautiful displays everywhere. Also hundreds of pots and containers and every accessory you can think of. Thi".s is, by far, the best nursery in Bellingham. There is even a food truck in their parking lot called "The purple Flamingo." They are also building a restaurant called "The Cactus Room" and a bar called "Big Foot Bar". Prices are very reasonable. Very helpful staff members everywhere.

This nursery is a major upgrade in the same space. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff around to ask questions. They have a ton of indoor and outdoor plants and even a gift section. There is a cat that roams the property, which is always a plus in my book. Prices are fair and selection is perfect. The purple flamingos just draw you in from the road and the beautiful array of plants makes you stay. It's relaxing to just take a walk through the shop.

I love that. I love that they're raising baby chicks inside. *The exceptionally kind owners. They're always so calm, so kind, so friendly, so helpful, smiling all the time even though I know dealing with the public has to drive them batty at times. *The nursery feels like going to a friend's house. It's cozy and welcoming without the super sanitized commercial feeling of a lot of nurseries. *They're small but they have a nice variety. *They have some unusual things, too. I needed a lilac, not a tall big double bloom huge lilac like most people want. I needed a dwarf lilac and they had one. Perfect! *The location is great. Really easy to combine shopping, lunch, dinner, drinks at Fairhaven with gardening. *I love that they've been able go hang on in the nursery business for 27 years. If I was an owning-a-nursery kind of person, what their doing is how I hope I'd do it. Love, smiles, and hens in the mix.

I headed there soon after they opened, and was both shocked and pleasantly surprised to see they had, quite literally, taken over the ENTIRETY of the former K-dog store in Sunset Square. In other words: THIS PLACE IS HUGE. I would describe At Home as a combination of Ikea, Costco and Big Lots with a little bit of Pier One thrown in for some character. It feels like they have everything you could possibly need to turn your house or apartment into a cute space. From outdoor furniture to indoor accessories to wall art this is basically a one stop shop that would have been a dream place back in the old days when I used to decorate model homes. But what At Home offers in selection (and decent prices) it lacks in character and inspiration. In other words, you pretty much need to bring your own creativity. Yeah, they have a few mini room displays tossed around the store for inspiration, but one of the things I love about other stores (think Ikea or, locally, The Greenhouse) is that they display entire rooms, or at least vignettes, that spark ideas and - presumably - result in consumers buying more products than they initially planned. I love the inspiration I get when I see not only a couch displayed, but an entire room. At Home definitely lacks this, even though they have MORE than enough space to accomplish it. The MOST frustrating part about the store was the absolutely abysmal setup of the checkout area. There are no lanes, just a small grouping of cash registers and one master line - which would be okay (it works in some places) if there was a way for cashiers to indicate they're free to serve you. But there's not. And the angle of the line is such that you can't SEE the cashiers. So they each have to basically jump out into the aisle to announce they're free. It's REALLY weird, and super bad planning. I felt bad for them! Also, the smell inside this place was overwhelming - worse in some aisles than others. I'm going to give them a pass on it, as they're new and I assume that "fresh plastic/paint/?" smell will disperse after a time. But if you're sensitive to smells, I'd give it a little time to air out before going.
