This place has everything you could ever desire if you are a gardener, flower lover, outdoor lover, and lover of the finer things. Wow! The unassuming, albeit purple exterior of this place turned out to hold a crazy inventory, on top of a delicious food truck. I was impressed by the variety of rooms/themes this place holds - perhaps my favorite was the bright (and warm!) cactus room which was refreshingly well-lit during these grey winter months. They also had a delightful glass mushroom display as well. I purchased a Christmas cactus and pot for a holiday gift, and the lady at the counter thoughtfully potted it for me and topped up the soil. I also tried the seasonal eggnog latte at the food truck parked outside, which was flavorful and really hit the spot. I would encourage anyone looking for any sort of garden item to visit this store - be prepared to spend some time here browsing! read more

I found this gem while I was driving to the store and decided to stop by. I am a new plant mom, and wanted to check out what this place was about. I was really impressed and amazed by what a great selection this place offered on so many home plants and outdoor plants. This place is huge with so many pots, decorations, and anything else you would need. Upon entering there are three main areas (clearance, plants, jungle, and main store). The clearance area has plant, pots and decorations. The plants outside varied by succulents, flowers, roses, etc. The jungle was amazing, with hanging plants, pots from local artist, flowers, and the rainbow wall which had so many different pots in various colors and sizes. The main area had everything you could find in the rest of the store with the addition of plant tables, knick knacks, and misc items like socks, soap, and puzzles. The highlight of my trip was meeting one of the employee's Nancy (hope I got the name right). She was so patient with me, answering my questions, giving me advice, and information about how to take the best care of my new plant babies. I really was amazed by her knowledge of the plants and patience to chat with me. Highly recommend! read more

What a great community this place has built. I cannot express strongly enough how much I adore coming here. From flower points, to the friendly staff and events, it's just a great place to figure out your yard projects, garden projects, and house plant needs. I was overwhelmed by their huge inventory of every plant you could imagine. Beautiful displays everywhere. Also hundreds of pots and containers and every accessory you can think of. Thi".s is, by far, the best nursery in Bellingham. There is even a food truck in their parking lot called "The purple Flamingo." They are also building a restaurant called "The Cactus Room" and a bar called "Big Foot Bar". Prices are very reasonable. Very helpful staff members everywhere. read more

If you are a plant enthusiast, behold! The land of all the plants!! Ok so I don't have even a slight green thumb but I went here to get a planter and some soil for a few Hens and Chicks I had. I did not know what I needed for them and a woman helped me figure out exactly what I wanted and showed me the right soil for the little guys. She also walked me through the whole place because it is HUGE and full of plants. So so many. And she said at that point they were between seasons and have even more at different times of the year! I was really thankful for her help and also thankful for the COVID prevention methods they have in place to keep people safe. This nursery is a major upgrade in the same space. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff around to ask questions. They have a ton of indoor and outdoor plants and even a gift section. There is a cat that roams the property, which is always a plus in my book. Prices are fair and selection is perfect. The purple flamingos just draw you in from the road and the beautiful array of plants makes you stay. It's relaxing to just take a walk through the shop. read more

I LOVE this place. I had my first visit this past Wednesday, and they had some very interesting plants that I hadn't seen elsewhere. All of the staff were really friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, too. I bought a "strawberry milkshake" hydrangea, and later I happened to look at something similar at home depot, and home depot's price was about $20 more than My Garden! I would much rather patronize an independent business than a chain, but I often think of them as being more expensive. I really think their prices were very good here, and they were actually better than one of the big box stores, with oh, so much better service! I asked questions about a rose I wanted and some ferns, and both times I was speaking with someone who was knowledgeable and had good information for me. The lady that helped me with my fern questions spent so much time telling me what to do, what to expect, asking me about where it would be planted, and also showing me alternatives that she thought might do better. I felt like a VIP! I really like the variety of items they have here and when I am in town again, I will be sure to stop there. And of course, all the purple flamingos are awesome... read more

Big thanks to My Garden Nursery on Bakerview. I called and asked to drop off some plants I bought from them that died so they could compost them. They said I wasn't the only person who couldn't keep them alive and that it may have been an issue with the plants. They felt that what I had purchased was not up to their standard and that they needed to make it right, and they went way above and beyond anything I would expect. Jerry has lots of knowledge and landscaping advice and their service during AND after the sale has proved to be impeccable. It wasn't my first purchase there and it won't be my last. I experienced the best customer service EVER at My Garden Nursery. I was searching for house plants and got referred to My Garden by a Target employee. Upon arriving I was greeted warmly by Antony and he showed me the best customer service that I have experience anywhere! He not only explained each plant option to me, but then let me shop on my own, allowing me space.
