My girls and I decided to drop in on a whim. We had a phenomenal time. If you're looking for the perfect spot for your next girls' day out, this is it. It's a quaint, quiet little shop that invites you to sit, linger, and enjoy the atmosphere. When I walked in, I was immediately excited to see they carried Dubai Strawberries (my absolute favorite!). While I didn't grab them this time, I'll definitely be back for them. I opted for the Pistachio Cream Croissant, which was calling my name the second I walked through the door. It took a little bit of time to arrive, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I suspect they might have even baked it to order! It was the perfect sweet treat without being overly sugary, which is a massive plus in my book. The pistachio flavor was spot on. It was incredibly rich, nuanced, and tasted completely authentic. I paired it with the Hibiscus Tea, which was, quite literally, something made of dreams. Again, it had that perfect balance. It has just enough sweetness to elevate the drink without overpowering it. You can really taste the true, floral notes of the hibiscus. Beyond the stellar food, the vibe is just right. We saw several other groups come in and settle into the space to enjoy their treats, making it a great place to catch up with friends. I'm already planning my next trip back, and mark my words. I will be getting that delicious-looking saffron cake next time! The high tea also requires a deposit of half of the total amount in advance. Overall it is definitely worth the experience, and the menu rotates regularly so it is something fun to come back and try again. The owners were also really kind and accommodating, which made the visit even better. My only suggestion would be to add more caffeine free tea options. I was told by one of the staff that all of the teas contain a small amount of caffeine, including the rose tea.

The shop is tucked away in a hidden retail center that could certainly use some redevelopment someday, but that's a story for another time. Cloudland Coffee is truly a standout business in the center and well worth seeking out. Over the past few months, I've stopped in regularly for a cup of coffee and to purchase freshly roasted beans. My favorite so far has been their Honduras Dark Roast, which offers a smooth, rich flavor profile and is roasted to perfection. I was also pleased to learn that Cloudland is a locally owned business--something I always enjoy supporting, especially when the product and service are exceptional. Sometimes big isn't always better...don't you dare...this is a family friendly website. The only other one I've been to is the one in Suwanee or Duluth...I can't remember. I go there whenever I go to my hairdresser. They don't have as much baked good as the other locations but there is a Hmart down a few walks down so maybe they have an agreement that they won't sell as much baked goods...I don't know I'm just making it up as I go. The boba tea is pretty bad. But to be fair no body but me comes here for boba tea. They do use whole milk and there is not option for other stuff like lactose free. Their basic coffee which is Americano is pretty good. It's mild, light and not too bitter. It's typical Asian coffee where it's more tea like than bitter. The baked good are good and always fresh. It's a korean bakery so if you don't like Korean style baked good...well the witch that lives in a candy house has a free gift in her oven for you.
