I LOVE Rushing!! It's a great spot for brunch and offers an amazing vibe/ambiance for a girls day or a day date. I was beyond excited when I found out that Rushing was opening a second location closer to me in Johns Creek. They offer interior seating only, and a decent amount of parking which is shared with the accompanying places in the shopping center. The food is always so great. Flavor is on point and portions are generous. Every drink I've had (alcoholic or not) has been great. The servers and team overall are always so friendly and seem more than happy to assist when they can to ultimately keep their customers satisfied. Rushing also offers rewards which is awesome for returning guests!! If you have tried this place, be sure to next time you are in the area. read more

Just not my favorite breakfast spot. I realize my review is biased because I am gluten free but this is not a spot I would go to again. The decor is cute, the staff is friendly, but the food is just ok. I ordered an omelet with fruit - totally fine but nothing exciting. I'd much prefer breakfast at a spot a little further north where I can get gluten free pancakes, cinnamon rolls, etc. If you're not gluten free then I'm sure you will enjoy your meal here more than I did. read more

This is a very nice and elegant brunch place. It feels high class just being inside. The decor is very clean and chic. Even the clientele inside looked like they were wealthy! I tried Truly's Stuffed French Toast and I thought overall it was tasty. The French toast was stuffed with cream cheese and thus was very rich. There were some berries and it was also copiously dusted with white sugar. This dish is $16 and there is no extra protein with it so I would recommend ordering some protein on the side for a more balanced breakfast. The dish was very carb heavy. We also tried a biscuit with sausage and we were surprised to see the biscuit sandwich was quite large. I think the biscuit could have been eaten as a sandwich by itself. Overall we thought the food was good but was a bit surprised at how expensive this brunch place was, especially for the Atlanta area. Food wasn't great, but stars are for the best service and ambiance I've experienced recently around the area! Menu was pretty extensive, but all of the food we ordered was just mediocre. We had french toast, egg benedict, and biscuit entrees -- french toast was the best out of those. Their drinks were great though! Cute mugs for coffee and fancy glasses for their alcoholic drinks. Their mimosa was mostly champagne, which is rare since most places are the opposite and give like 90% orange juice. Not complaining at all -- this is exactly what I like in mimosas. Servers were all nice and friendly. They were also very quick, which we appreciated having a toddler. I was worried that the biscuit items might not be filling enough, as they were almost half the price of the other entree items, but the portion size was more than enough. My friends loved the coffee. I had the intermediate hike biscuit with the sweet butter added, and the maple latte under the specials. Both were incredibly good! The biscuit was moist and soft, the sausage was flavorful and not overcooked, the egg was cooked perfectly (you can request how hard you want the yolk, I got mine runny), and the Irish cheddar was a perfect compliment to the other flavors. The latte I had was sweetened just right, I could still taste the high quality espresso and the maple, but it wasn't overly bitter or sickeningly sweet. The milk was frothed perfectly. The service was amazing! Shelby was my server, and Syd was the barista. The soft and upbeat music playing and the cozy atmosphere made me feel comfortable. I was able to do some work on my laptop without distractions, it's a great work/study place (better than Panera or Starbucks in my opinion). The only thing is that some of the food is pricey. You get what you pay for, but it might not be super budget friendly if you're looking to have a full meal. However, if you're looking for a nice coffee and a small bite to eat for around $20 (including tax and standard tip), this is a great place to stop by! read more

Today me and my family went to Rushing trading company in John's Creek, Georgia. I've been to the location in Sugar hill a couple of times before and I was excited to try the new location. starting off everybody was so nice and friendly! After we were seated and ordered, food and drinks came out in a timely manner and service was good. We even got some mini brown sugar biscuits to start off and they were so good. just the right amount of sweetness I personally got the El Ranchero toast for my meal, the combination of ingredients was perfect and it was not too filling. My sister got the French Kiss french toast. She describes it as flavorful, sweet and loved the strawberry and Nutella together. My mom got biscuits and gravy with a side of egg. She loved the presentation of the meal and described it as just the right amount of biscuit gravy and sausage and when she added the egg all she could say was "WOW". finally, my Dad got the lumberjack it came with ham, sausage and bacon, as well as cheesy grits and a biscuit. he exclaimed "These are the first cheesy grits. I've actually liked" (we're front the north, so grits aren't really our thing. He than proceeded to make sandwiches with the biscuit! It's a cute place,but we had to wait 20 minutes just for coffee, we were never brought any water, the waitstaff clearly didn't have any idea what they were doing and were running around frazzled. My husband and I ordered a simple breakfast sandwich and avocado toast and it took an hour and a half to get. It's not all bad news. The ambiance is wonderful. They maintained a lot of what Taqueria 141 had going for it, but brightened it up and made the space feel larger. Their service wares and decor are all very cute and give a concise vision for their brand; think REI meets Pinterest. Our server, and everyone else for that matter, was attentive and super sweet. Friendly hellos and goodbyes to all guests, despite being towards the end of a, presumably, busy Sunday. If I were to stop here, I'd give 4.5 stars. The good news is that food is FAR easier to improve than culture and attitudes, so perhaps there's hope? The food is simply underwhelming. Everything we ordered was just ok. They're a boutique sized restaurant where you'd expect higher standards for food, but instead the food seems to be an afterthought. For example, something as simple as grilled cheese and tomato soup, had multiple issues. Bread wasn't grilled at all, and I'd bet the choice to use Brie and Gouda was influenced by the sound, rather than the actual taste. Homemade soup was ok, but didn't pair with the sandwich. I could go in to more detail, but I've already put more thought in to this review than they did their menu execution. Again...not all bad but the food needs work. All the shiniest baubles and smiling faces in the world can't cover for super-blah food. read more
