Their chocolate turtles are absolutely delicious! The caramel is so fresh, their chocolate is the best, and you get a perfect bite every time when you bite down on a pecan. Gorgeous Chocolatier! Fair trade, organic chocolate handcrafted directly from the beans in house! All windows show staff making the chocolate during your visit. Staff were so kind + patient as we took our time looking around. They even have wine! We left with some various chocolate creations for our kids + a box of truffles + caramels. Stopped here while in Suwanee recently. Chocolates and gelato, what fun! The gorgeous chocolates are made on site. They're $2.00 each, or you can create your own gift box. Quality of ingredients really shines. The flavors are intense and yet somehow delicate at the same time. Orange and raspberry were my favorites. And so pretty. Tiny works of art. A lot of the interior space is chocolate making equipment behind a glass wall. Not much happening when I was there - it was late in the day - but hopefully it will be running next time I visit. Info is on the walls about the farms where the cacao is sourced. In the back is a gelato counter with about about 8-10 varieties. You can sample first. I doubled down on chocolate for the day and got chocolate gelato too. Truly outstanding. One of the best ice creams I've ever had. And I've had A LOT. There's a nice area with tables for eating on site (no outdoor seating). Bottled drinks available. I didn't see coffee or tea. Staff were very friendly and helpful with what to pick. If you have not been to Bitzels you are missing out. Located right across from main event it's tucked in a nice corner unassuming from the outside. Once you go in is when you realize this is a chocolate factory and the chocolates taste great! Price is on the higher end but the quality is definetly very good. Plenty of different options to choose from. Service was good as they were helpful and willing to explain all the options available as well as the history of where they source their chocolates and how it's made. read more

Amazing place to visit. It is a family owned business where the family moved their store from Germany to here. On weekdays from 1-3 you can see their chocolate factory in action. The gelato is the best I've ever had and is served at the proper temperature and consistency. This is a Gelato and ambiance only review. Love theambiance. I especially love that they tell you where their cocoa beans are sourced. Love that manufacturing is behind a glass wall so you can see what is happening. As for the Gelato. It was legit. Very, very good. Sampled a few between the wife and I. We visited on a weekend day. It's almost like a museum... filled with history and science on the process of their making Bitzel's Chocolates. It was slower than I had expected, but they are a pretty new place. I wouldn't have known they even existed if it hadn't been for local news coverage. Husband and I had visited the Ethel M factory and showroom out near Las Vegas a few years back and it was a lot busier with the tourist crowds coming through it... but it's very exciting to have a chocolate factory here locally in the metro Atlanta area now. This place was really clean. Didn't take any photos of the dining area, but it was quite ample with comfortable seats to enjoy your chocolate snacks. We tried a variety of flavors... some pretty unique that I hadn't ever tried in a chocolate before... like the passion fruit! That was nice to try something different, although it wasn't my fav... the raspberry dark ganache chocolates were the best!!! So... Unless I missed it... I don't remember that we got any drinks at all??? Just ate the chocolates!!! ... and don't think they had elaborate drinks of chocolate... hot coffee's, hot chocolate's... cold shakes! ...that would be a really nice thing to add later. It's been a few weeks since we've visited now... but we both highly recommend, it was delicious! read more

Made our first visit to this awesome chocolate factory and were delighted. This is an amazing plant and the treats are first class. We did not get to see the making of any candy but the information was very informative. Just looking into the immaculate kitchen was amazing. We did enjoy a couple of treats and will return.
