If you are looking for an in-person school field trip for students, do not choose Snapology…read more Snapology's concept is GREAT, but what was offered could have been of better quality and execution. Snapology is overpriced with subpar materials. For a minimum of 50 students, the school was charged $750, for any additional students the cost was $15 per add-on. Snapology was to arrive at the school for a noon setup with pre-k and kindergarten students participating in the building activity from 12:30-2 pm. Snapology sent two staff members who did not represent Snapology with joy and excitement. When the two young ladies arrived they came with two rolling carts with shoe box totes of legos. As I greeted them, I asked if there was anything I needed to do. They said I needed to place the students in groups of five so that they would be able to go to the 10 Lego stations. When we arrived at the GYM small stations were created on the floor (no tables were ever requested or suggested for this activity via Snapology). As the students came, I began to usher students into the GYM along with school staff members and parents with no direction from the Snapology team. We had NO clue what to DO! The two staff members never gave us an introduction, a greeting, or guidance to get STARTED! So teachers and parents started managing stations with students. About 10 min. into the activity, a rotation was supposed to take place (no timer to be heard, no communication between school staff and SNAPOLOGY. One Snapology member moving clockwise and another moving counterclockwise. Now children are CONFUSED! Now we have 50+ with no direction moving around excitedly. At this point, I decided to have students FREELY explore the stations! Before the activity was over, I noticed the staff members cleaning up. Wait a minute we still have 30 minutes! They put the earthquake machine away, 2 green Lego mats, and a Lego bin. I see one staff take a creation from a student's hands now I am annoyed. Now it's time to ask for clarity. I spoke to one of the staff members in the hallway and was less than excited with her response. This is an easy activity that can easily be executed at your school for a FRACTION OF THE COST! Buy Legos and connector place them inbins now you have SNAPOLOGY!

They also have ice cream and refillable water at all times. They even offer towels. The workers are always kind and helpful. The pool area is always clean and welcoming. Everyone who attends and goes to Merritt Clubs is always fun and nice. It's always a great vibe, especially in the summer. When the concession is closed, you can enjoy tremendous food options in the area. There is tons of parking and is easily accessible.

In our experience, children were not consistently supervised in a way that protected other paying members, and we felt that the camps were prioritized over the regular membership. When we raised safety concerns after an incident involving an unsupervised child, we felt that responsibility was shifted onto us rather than the situation being addressed. We also observed lifeguards allowing behavior that, in our opinion, created unnecessary safety risks for other swimmers. My interactions with management were equally disappointing. Diane, the manager, spoke to me in a manner I found unprofessional during our discussion, and I recorded that interaction because I was so uncomfortable. When I later decided to cancel my membership, I expected to simply complete the cancellation paperwork. Instead, I was questioned by Liz in front of other people about why I was leaving and where I planned to go next, which I felt was inappropriate and embarrassing. The final comment that confirmed my decision to leave was being told that these issues would improve once school started because the summer camps would be over. That reinforced my impression that the camp program was being prioritized over the experience and safety concerns of year-round members. Since leaving, I've found another gym where I feel welcomed, respected, and where member concerns are taken seriously. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision.

The kids who attended left excited and tired from their experience. There always seems to be ample employees working to cover the amount of kids present. They are helpful when it comes to answering questions and/or enforcing rules. They make sure their class scheduling is convenient for everyone and they are clear about their policies. If you miss a class, all you have to do is call and schedule a make up before the start time of the missed class. We had my daughter's birthday party there this past weekend and it was the best party she's ever had. The staff let us know that they were available to take of putting up our decorations and setting up for food and cake so that we could enjoy watching the kids on the gym. All of our party guests LOVED the gym activities, we had kids from the age of 2 years up to 13 years and they all had a great time. Our guests included 3 children on the autism spectrum with different particular needs and the staff were immediately responsive to things like one child not wanting everyone to shout her name when it was her turn to play a game and one child needing to be repeatedly reminded to be more gentle with the equipment. My child has unfortunately decided not to continue gymnastics classes, I am going to miss The Little Gym!!
