This is one of our favorite play places in Indy. There's something for everyone whether it's…read moreplaying with toys getting out there sensory needs playing in the play area or playing in the little café areas. And I love how parents can relax with one of the many options of chairs that are sitting all around the area. I love that the Play Place actually is very tall. I am a 57 woman and can't fit into a lot of places where I'm not crouching so this was fantastic. I could stand all the way up. They even hold classes here like Zumbini with Nykki classes, mommy tool kit classes and even more. They also have a nice little lunch area so you can bring your lunch and you can stay for even longer and they have a snack bar. You can get snacks from if you ran out of snacks or want something different. They also have an adult lounge upstairs, which is really cool because it overseas the play area too so many great things come from this Play Place and I love going here.

My 4 year old daughter attended a birthday party at Gymnastics Unlimited today. The facility was…read moretidy and in good repair but seriously understaffed. There were two birthday parties occurring simultaneously, our group of 4 and 5 year olds along side another group of what appeared to be much larger older kids (maybe 8 or 9 year olds?) each group had well over a dozen members. The staffing was painfully sparse and consisted of merely a front desk woman and two teens on the gym floor. Upon arrival, we were greeted and immediately asked to fill out a waiver. I did inform the employee that this was our first visit. After receiving lack-luster instruction of rules and guidelines, we removed both mine, and my daughter's shoes/ socks, then headed to the tumbling room floor. Once on the floor, one of the teen employees approached quickly informing me, "All parents, except birthday child's parents, are to go upstairs in the viewing area." I was very hesitant to leave my 4 year old daughter and decided to mostly obey the girl's request by moving to the sidelines near the door. Once off to the side, I noticed NONE of the other 6 "non-birthday child parents" were asked to leave!! Not wanting to make a scene, I continued to watch carefully from the floor entrance. Here is what I witnessed: The teen girl employee only actively monitored one trampoline that was immediately in front of the foam pit. She repeatedly instructed my daughter to wait in line but did not appear at all concerned about how many children were already actually in the foam pit! I was very concerned because I did not want any of the little kids crushed by the much larger, considerably heavier older kids. While It is not reasonable to expect two girls to monitor a whole gym with over two dozen children running and jumping; it is also unreasonable to expect a small child to understand protocol and expectations in an alien environment. Why not allow parents to monitor their kids in an unobtrusive manner? Is it so difficult to also be consistent with the application of rules? I felt singled out, discriminated against and unwelcome. I had high hopes for Gymnastics Unlimited as a local, future scheduled, energy burn-off activity for my daughter but after today's off-putting experience, we will not be returning and would not recommend the facility to anyone wanting a safe experience for their young child.

I'm reality, the "teachers" (who are all just high school students) demonstrated the skill once, and then my child was left lost as she was told to repeat the skill x10. She had a ton of fun, which is the most important, I understand she's a child, but I was just expecting more coaching from her "coach". The campus is very clean, nice parent section, it's located in a good part of town. Overall, if she would like to do it again, I may consider it. But I would not recommend this facility to another parent.

This is a wonderful new facility in Fishers. There are so many amenities that I probably won't…read moreremember them all, but they have multiple courts for basketball, pickleball, and volleyball; swimming pools and a sauna, including a ninja course over the pool and a waterslide; an indoor walking track; a Sahm's cafe; an enormous indoor playground; a massive cardio/weight room with a spinning studio, the eGym circuit machines, free weights and Nautilus machines, and a big area for stretching etc. Oh, and group exercise classes like pilates, Zumba, Les Mills body pump, yoga, classes for seniors, water aerobics ... I could go on and on. The membership price is extremely reasonable given all the amenities they offer. They offer facility tours that let you see the entire place, including the locker rooms, and, unlike many other gyms, they don't try to pressure you into signing up. You don't have to be a member to use the walking track--you just sign up for a community pass. I'm excited to have such a nice new option for exercise in the Fishers area. A dog park is coming in 2026, and I'm hoping they can get a lazy river type outdoor pool like the Carmel community center has eventually!

Not the best not the worst, vibe is very uppity...Studio talks a big game, but it's just a meh…read moresuburban dance studio that gives little kids something to do and doesnt focus on being actually good at dance, more just the social aspect of it. Affordable if you aren't looking for much and don't mind saying no all the time to the extras and push to be on the dance teams to meet "goals" and "potential" as they say a lot. Teachers are all over the place... very few Ok core faculty then it's random college students and people who dance on the side sold as "experts" from NY to LA...but almost everyone is local from Indy area....which I guess is technically between NY and LA lol.

I have a lot to say about this place. Some of my grandkids have gone here for years and I've always…read morebeen less than impressed with the skill level of dancers, but figured it's fun and good for their development. After this recent recital and speaking to some teachers and the owner backstage, I feel I have finally had enough and want to give my 2 cents. Especially in the context of finding out what is being paid to this studio for a sub par product. Daughter is essentially paying a second mortgage with all direct and indirect costs considered and still asked to volunteer time for the studio. The owner and a younger instructor told me at the recital that my granddaughter has a "future in dance" and can go "pro". Turn around and they are giving another eager parent the SAME spiel. They constantly talk with hopeful parents and impressionable children about being pro, getting to the next "level"/competition team, and their need for more and more classes to make these levels or not let their skills "deteriorate". These are all seemingly tactics to make more money because they want you to take dance year round and more of it to get to these levels and teams. You absolutely will make the team if you are old enough and you follow their prescription of more classes for long enough-I saw it first hand with one of mine. It's more pay-to-play than skill and the end product shows this. The competitions also feel very pay-to-play in recent years, compared to when my daughter did them, with all the participation awards given to nearly every dancer-but that is not wishes run, just vehemently encouraged by them. The steady stream of confusing awards keeps customers coming back and keep girls on their competition teams. The grand kids are there 5-6 days a week most weeks and are exhausted all for a sub par product. They are not involved in extra curricular activities at school or really anything else because they've been convinced by teachers it would detract from dance. The families are also asked to volunteer like it's a school field trip or charity event. Some parents even work at the studio part time for "discounts" per my daughter and they also have the older girls teaching the younger ones their recital dances and I see them assisting on stage. Im told by my girls they aren't compensated or rewarded in any way-it's just an expectation. It's a pyramid scheme that rewards you for loyalty (also see: trophy where they engrave your name after 5,10, etc years of dance). I am supportive of their dance and have always supported my daughters and their children, but I also have a unique perspective of having simultaneous experience with a few studios in the area and Indy. Trust me, there are better studios with less staff turnover that produce more skilled dancers without the significant cost and time demanded by Wishes. P.S. My wife said something I thought was a great metaphor-it feels like those model scouts in the mall back in the 90s where they convinced a kid they had a modeling career waiting, but only if you took their internal modeling classes and paid for headshots through them.

We have been attending classes at Palette for 2 years now. We love the new location. Both kids…read more(ages 4 and 10) have enjoyed all of the various classes they have signed up for. She has adapted her business practices to meet COVID19 guidelines and we continue to attend. The most important thing is the kids continue to have a social and artistic outlet during this time. Rebecca does a great job with all ages of children.

My kids (ages 3-13) have done classes/camps and parties at her studio, and every time, everything is perfect! Perfectly age appropriate, tuned to their interests, and engaging! Rebecca is simply magic! If you need something to engage your budding artist, or you want to help a child develop a love of art, this is the place to go! Her parties are seamless and stress-free and totally unique! I cannot say enough good things about Rebecca and Palette! 20/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!
