Planned a party for my 4 yr old and everything was perfect. It was an easygoing process all throughout. Booking over the phone was easy and any questions I had they were answered quickly.The staff was amazing. The staff members the 2 gentlemen (Coach K and I forgot the other name )but that is my horrible memory of names. But they were able to keep all of my 25 guests happy with enthusiasm and energy. The amount of games that was played made it so fun for the kiddos. Only downside is that we wish the party went on for longer. read more

Kids freaking love this place! (At least mine does) he's been bugging me to sign him up for classes here and I finally did when the winter hit. He used to come to baby classes when he was little. He's 6 now and it's worth the money more so now. Bill is super fun and the music is cool! It's always clean in here! There's a bathroom and a place to chill out while your kid plays. $50 sign up fee $120 for once a week per month (45m class) $30 more for the practice and plays (extra classes) $50 date night drop off for 3 hour play and pizza and movie (my favs!) read more

We recently had my son's 5th birthday party at My Gym and it was a great experience. It was a ninja theme in terms of the activities and the kids loved it. We told our 10 yr old son he wouldn't be able to participate, he was ready to sit and read, but RJ and Annie made sure he could join in and he really enjoyed himself. RJ and Annie made sure all the kids were involved and most importantly were HAVING FUN!! When it was time to leave the kids didn't want to leave. Thanks RJ and Annie for making my son's 5th birthday a memorable one. read more

This place has gone down hill. It is often closed without any reason and without alerting monthly guests. I'm currently standing outside of a closed gym with 10 families. We all had no idea! Very frustrating It's the only option in the area and I guess they know that. read more

My Gym Harlem is the best thing we've done for our daughter. The new ownership (Nov2020) has made a huge impact and Meredith, our teacher is so great. Meredith knows every child labor name, provides individual attention (amazing given the room is filled with wild toddlers) and truly cares. We will be sad to leave her when we move this spring. Not a lot of great communication at this business. Meaning it's a rarity that I can call and speak to someone directly. I've had to email and leave specific message and then an email will come back or automated response. Very strange. Especially when we've went to NYkids club before and you've been able to talk to the manager in 5 seconds. So aside from that, my daughter seems to love the gym classes. My 3 yo daughter started a class at My Gym as soon as it opened. We gave it a try because I found a Plum Deals coupon for a month of classes, but she loved going so much we have continued. The teachers (Ms. Juliana and Ms. Danielle) are great. They have so much energy, and they're really good with the kids! The facilities are really nice too. There is always lots to do, it's very clean, and the stations get switched around from week to week. The classes are fast-paced and consistently fun! When my daughter starter the class, she was really nervous about doing most of the activities. Other kids would dive into the ball pit or jump on the trampoline with wild abandon, but she hung back. When the teachers showed them new skills, she was really reluctant to try to them. After a few classes, that all started to change though. Now she wants to be the first one to try something new! We've seen this spill over into life outside of the class too. She is a lot bolder and more adventurous on the playground and when we are out and about. And she loves practicing the things she learns at My Gym at home. We're big fans! read more

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! FIND A BETTER OPTION. They have classes on the schedule that don't really exist. As a result, we accrued 4 make-ups and I was told I couldn't use them unless I paid for another month. I thought I would just take my child to a lot of classes, (ones that normally do occur), and skip the naps. Now they aren't there even for the usual classes, (the ones which usually actually happen). I now have 8 makeup classes, was charged for the month, and the location is dark. We were all left standing outside - angry parents and sad children - talking about the make-ups accrued as a result of their bait-and-switch schedule and no-shows. Manager is never onsite or available. read more

We just had my child's birthday party here and it was absolutely perfect!! Staff are amazing and really take care of everything - prep for the party, running all the kids activities, serving pizza and cake efficiently. The kids had a blast. Can't say enough good things about the terrific staff. Our party hosts were enthusiastic, friendly, personable and awesome at what they do - even more impressive considering it was the last birthday party of the day. read more

Had a birthday party here for our 5 yo. The space is great -- spotlessly clean and much bigger than some similar venues downtown. The staff were fantastic. The office staff were super-friendly and easy to deal with before & after. The teachers were very helpful with set-up and cleanup, and more importantly amazing with the kids, engaging everyone (including the shy birthday boy) without ever being overbearing. Parents can hang out in an anteroom separated by a glass wall but still see the kids at all times, which was nice. Reasonable prices by Manhattan standards and we definitely felt like it was worth the money. Would highly recommend for parties, and based on the skill & charm of the staff, I imagine the classes are great too. read more

The facility is clean and seems ok for a few visits, but after three or so months it became stale and uninteresting for our toddler - so we switched to another children's facility. The gym also asked us to give them a credit card to keep on file - but when we inquired about the nature of repeated charges, the gym managers became defensive and hostile. In our opinion, it seemed dodgy. Maybe it was just our experience. read more

At first the classes were fun & entertaining but soon got boring with the same things. Had a huge problem with the owner, Brian Davis. To start, we wanted a trial & he charged us a full session. We went along with it for 4 months. One of the staff Peter was very rude towards me & nothing was done about it. We continued classes until we realized out credit card on file (when we signed up, they request cc on file), was being over charged. After a few exchange of emails, we got the credit back on the card. However Mr. Davis's approach about the excess credit card charges was very offensive, rude & highly inappropriate. Then there is the policy to drop the classes, notice must be given a month in advance. There is also the policy where they keep billing monthly as to keep clients in the class. As another review stated, the staff is not so friendly to the adults. It's obvious now that the owner himself is the same. Due to our experience, we will never recommend this gym to anyone. It's not all about money when it comes to our children. Awful experience! Brian Davis should be ashamed of the way he mishandled the situation! Not a good approach as a businessman. read more
