As you enter you are greeted by the Teachers and they are very friendly and their energy is a good balance from friendly to let's play and have fun. I've been to a couple My gyms where the teachers are a bit much for the kids and they cry but that wasn't the case here. I had met Miss Katie before at a previous location and she is great along with her helpers Miss Lauren and Izzy make a great team as well. The parking can be a bit tricky I came in thru the backside and well parking was a bit hard. Since it was my first time here I didn't know they had a designated parking in Lincoln the Main Street. Overall experience was great and can't wait for our next class.

I especially appreciate how patient the teachers are and that there is no push for perfection. The focus is truly on joy, movement, and having fun. At the end of class, the kids even get to do a little coloring, which is a lovely, calming way to wrap things up. Parents stay to watch during class, which makes it a really special experience. There is also a parking lot, which is a huge plus in Santa Monica. Overall, it's a wonderful, low-pressure introduction to dance for young children.

We had to move out of the area and I notified the camp as soon as possible, asking to cancel and requesting a refund. I was told they don't offer refunds unless someone from the waitlist takes the spot--which would be fair if they actually tried. Despite multiple email follow-ups over several weeks and being extremely patient, no real effort was made on their end. I personally know someone on the waitlist for our session who never received a call or update. If the policy is dependent on the spot being filled, then it's the camp's responsibility to at least try to fill it. Parents--if you're considering this camp, just know that if anything changes, you'll be stuck. No flexibility, no proactive communication, and no accountability in their own process. And if you're on the waitlist, don't just wait for a call--because they may never make one. Be ready to chase them down. Really disappointed in how this was handled.

The front desk emails the notification that class is cancelled just 30 min before if at all (most of us in LA are in the car already, or getting our toddlers/ kids dressed for class). When this happened the first time, the person at the front desk let my husband know that the next class would be free to make up for the inconvenience. When I arrived the subsequent time, he was about to charge me when I reminded him that we had a free class due to the late previous cancel. The parking is also a maze and one of the elevators is always broken. Not the best building. The teachers are enthusiastic and sweet. My daughter did enjoy the class. But I can't continue to take her there because of the customer service/cancellations unfortunately. ~After hearing back from Dance for Kids, raising my review a star. There is a super fun new activity to look forward to each day of camp, such as a petting zoo, water play, magic show, bubble party, and so much more! They also have different themed rooms for their favorite activities, such as sewing, a game room, library, and baking. My daughters both excitedly show me their bakery item of the day they helped make! The hours are the best around, open from 8 am to 6 pm, with the flexibility to drop off and pick up at your convenience. They also serve lunch and snacks, so it is a super stress-free summer! I also really appreciate the staff, it truly shows how much they enjoy their jobs and show they care for the kiddos. I wish I had this type of camp when I was growing up! At this age, they often wonder if they've met the "real" princess, and there were no doubts here--this was 100% the authentic Rumi. She did their hair and makeup, led them in fun dance games to warm up, and taught them a routine to "Golden." Followed by a cute fashion show with props. For a company that specializes in kids' entertainment, this was especially disappointing. As the host, it was frustrating to see such a mismatch between what was promised and what actually happened. I would not recommend booking them for any event. It's simply not worth the stress or disappointment. When we tried speaking with you privately, the concerns we raised were met with repeated blame on weather and our "expectations," rather than accountability for the clear lapses that occurred. We also appreciate you admitting that the Rockstar Costumes package was forgotten. However, this was only disclosed after we asked about it. You did not communicate this upfront or during the event. That lack of transparency was disappointing, especially given that it was part of what we paid for. Lastly, thank you for confirming that the song was changed because guests requested it. As the paying hosts, we had an agreement that "Golden" would be taught and performed, as preselected by our daughter. My wife spoke to the owner on the phone a few days before the event to confirm this. Any deviation from that should have been brought to us immediately, not decided without our knowledge. We can go back and forth, but ultimately, we upheld our end of the agreement and paid in full, even though several key parts of your service were not delivered. While you offered future credits, we cannot see a reason to use your services again after this experience. The moments lost cannot be replaced.

I was looking for a gym for my 5 year old primarily to have a gymnastics foundation - learn somersaults, cartwheels, handstands, back walkovers, gain the flexibility and strength for splits and other foundational gymnastics moves and body awareness. This is rhythmic gymnastics and if you're not entirely familiar with what it is (as I wasn't) you might be disappointed or confused. It is a form of gymnastics focused on presentation, style, and contortions with certain elements like clubs, batons, balls etc set to music. All routines are on the floor, there are no beams, vaults, foam pits etc. This seems to be a style quite popular in Russia, Ukraine, Mongolia and I assume other post Soviet Republics as the center is dominated by Russian speakers. Classes are mostly in English but there is a lot of Russian exchanges between instructors and students. They let us do a trial class for which I was very grateful and if you are considering joining, I suggest trialing. I think they do good work as far as I can tell, and you can tell they take this craft quite seriously. It just isn't what I'm looking for for my daughter. The class was more of a 1-hour yoga/Pilates/flexibility workout, quite different than other kid's gymnastics classes with tumbling and the use of other equipment. My daughter was having a hard time at the first class with nerves, she was crying and scared to participate but the instructor (Ben) was very kind. He was very patient, allowed me to sit inside although it's generally not permitted and paid special attention to her. I thought it was very nice and put my child at ease. There is a fencing school in the same building I thought was pretty cool.
