I wasn't sure what to expect. My gym was just a place I passed on my way to work. It was so easy to grab a date and time online and a small deposit was given to hold our spot. I spoke with Aaron to go over details for our party and any questions I had after were quickly answered via text. Upon arriving the day of the party we received the warmest greeting by Kieran and Dorothy. The set up was beautiful and they were so attentive. The kids gravitated toward them they danced and sang and played games you can just tell they genuinely loved the kids. I could not have been happier from beginning to end. We were at this location for a birthday party. My son had a great time. Everything was very clean and I was impressed with the staff and how they got the kids involved (obstacle course, bubbles, floor is lava, etc). There was very little parking available in front of the building. We ended up parking about two blocks away at a meter. We were provided grippy socks but I'm not sure if you can bring your own or have to buy theirs as an fyi. read more

We have attended My Gym in South Loop for a number of classes now, and I really love it! My expectations are high, and this place meets it. It is clean, organized, the instructors are WONDERFUL, and it is a very happy place to take little ones. The space is not huge, but it amazes me how much they do with the space to keep things different and exciting for kids. My toddler has learned to be more social with others, made friends, come out of her shell and now introduces herself in class (a form of public speaking for their age), practices waiting her turn and sharing, and has worked on numerous physical abilities. This place is great not only to just do something different, but to develop their mental and physical capabilities. The instructors are very engaging, kind, gentle and work with kids wherever they're at. My toddler is obsessed and we look forward to going every time! read more

My little guy loves coming to My Gym now that he is mobile. There are so many new changes to the gym. The new ball pit is a must-see. Mrs Siara is always a joy to see. I can't wait to drop in for the Halloween party with my mini. We pay $149 a month and can go to as many classes as we want. Although we make it in on the weekends, it is fine. All children are required to wear grippy socks. Adults must wear socks at all times in the gym. read more

Visited Chicago for a week a half, was able to get a good deal for my kid to go at least 3 days do that week. We have been to other my gyms in different states and this one was fun and very similar to the others. Their standards don't change so my expectation was great. MyGym has been a staple in my kiddos' activities since they opened 3 years ago. It's a warm and welcoming place with kind staff who make everybody feel right at home. I loved playing along with my toddler, but I definitely appreciated graduating to the drop off classes. The schedule offers multiple convenient sign up times and my boys love going! Saira, the owner, is always super responsive and helps with anything that might need addressing. This was a wonderful addition to our neighborhood. read more

We love this spot. It's such a great addition to South Loop. They have a great special when you first sign up for a membership/trial. The staff is so nice and the whole facility feels really clean. We have taken two classes so far. I'm told the set up changes each week. I like that the class that my daughter was in is a little bit structured (circle time) and then a lot of free play with some prompts or guided activities from the staff. I haven't yet decided if we will pay for a monthly membership, but it is really tempting!! read more

Contrary to all of the other positive reviews for this venue, our experience was rather lackluster. Our family of four recently attended a birthday party that had approximately 20 kids and 25 adults. The venue can supposedly host up to 80 guests which baffles me because the front section for eating barely had enough seating for everybody in our party and people that stood to eat had to juggle items in their hands and avoid bumping into people. To further share what lead to this disappointing experience: 1) The party time is 1.5 hours but there was a delayed start by the venue hosts. 2) One of the venue hosts was anything but enthusiastic. She was constantly irritated with the children and she kept questioning one of the 4 year olds if she was being honest with her age and if she had already gone on the zipline for kids under 4. 3) There was a Soldier Field event for that evening and parking took some effort. Most of the parents stopped by the venue to pick up the small green parking permits before parking and bringing the children in. After most of us had parked and entered the venue, the venue host then told us we had to return to our cars and place a second large orange permit on the dashboard. The poor communication and inefficiency wasted more time. 4) There isn't a whole lot of creativity in the activities. One of the activities is simply blowing bubbles in the air with a fan. Another activity was the swing sets which were not well supervised. Some kids stayed on the swings for so long that a bunch of other kids did not get their turn. However, this is also partially the parents' fault because they should enforce taking turns and sharing. 5) Meal time was chaotic. I am uncertain if the start of meal time was properly announced but I am certain we weren't allotted an adequate amount of time to eat. The venue host was really loud in declaring we had a late start to meal time and that we only had two minutes left on the clock. Before that two minutes were up, she already started pulling the tablecloth off the table and on top of the tablecloth were plates of food, fruit cups, and juice cartons that kids were still consuming. I pretty much had to scramble and grab whatever I could for my friend's kids and my own so they could finish eating on the busy street outside of the venue. With all that said, it's unlikely that we would return unless it's for another birthday party and even then we would be reluctant. If I had to force myself to list out some pros, the venue is bright, colorful, and clean. But then again, there are plenty of other places with those factors in addition to spaciousness, fun activities, and friendly, well-mannered staff. read more

I'm originally from the Chicagoland area and, while visiting in June 2024, we stumbled upon My Gym walking around the South Loop where our short term rental property was located. What a great place! Our 2yr old daughter loved the place. The free week trial was perfect since we were only there for 10 days and we took our daughter 3 times while there. The staff there were extremely friendly and attentive the kids. It has a lot of things for kids to play with and get their energy out. I highly recommend this play to anyone looking for activities for their kiddos. I wish we had this place in Joshua Tree, CA. read more

We just had my daughter's 5th birthday here and it was fantasic. Everyone had so much fun my daughter said it was the best birthday ever. The two employees that worked the party were so engaging and they remembered the kids names. They had the kids doing so many activities and even the adults were happy to see their kids participate and try new things they usually are afraid of doing. It was the best experience. I started attending My Gym when my daughter was about 14 months old, and I wish we had started sooner! I can't say enough positive things about this place. Saira, the owner, is a gem. She didn't just set up a My Gym--she created a community. She and her staff get to know and care about the children and caregivers. She adjusts the schedule regularly to meet the needs of attendees. Saira also has an incredible dedication to quality. She previously worked as a physical therapist, and her expertise is reflected in how well-trained her staff is. She is also very attentive to cleanliness, which is especially important given that there are often quite young babies in attendance. It was amazing to see the ways that my daughter grew in both her confidence and physical abilities during our time there. My Gym South Loop officially opened on June 13th so it is a brand new, beautiful and colorful facility. I took my 9 month old to three classes so far and we love it! The owner, Saira, is very nice and I appreciate how she makes a point to learn all the kids' names. My baby was able to experience circle time and play with 6+ babies for the first time. There are swings, balls, slides, and even a trampoline. I must mention that the teacher Bri is awesome as well and great with kids. I definitely recommend this new location! read more

Our 14 month old has taken two classes at My Gym and it's been a good experience so far! The instructors are very sweet and try to help encourage the kids to move in different ways. For example, it hadn't occurred to me to roll like a ball with our baby but we do it at My gym and she seems to like it. The classes are a little different each time but baby has found a few toys/objects that she seems to really enjoy so we have tried play with them during free play. It's also nice to be out of the house and interacting with other families. Because of covid, we really have not taken baby to too many places so I'm happy for the socializing. read more

We recently hosted our daughters 4th birthday at this location and it was amazing! Everything went smoothly, a party planner was included in our package and that in itself helped us tremendously. The staff was friendly and very involved with the kids. They had activities set up for the kids to get them to interact instead of just letting them roam free (which they still had the chance to do). Overall, it was a great experience, HIGHLY recommend hosting a party at this location or even just going to their classes. My kids can't stop asking about returning again, which we will very soon. I am incredibly grateful for the Saira and the South Loop My Gym location. I was in need of a fun interactive space for my son's 3rd birthday party. I'm a big planner, but this year i had several major events the same weekend and need a lot of help. Saira and her team were phenomenal. I selected the premier package about 3 weeks before the birthday party. It was everything I needed plus some. Saira was so easy with the planning and let me operate at my own pace. The website RSVP set up allowed for families to complete the waiver jn advance. The details were clear and we took advantage of all of the amenities. They also let me bring in food, goody bags and balloons. I was most impressed with the Facilitated play time. The timeline was perfect and the kids LOVED it. The adults were happy to let their kids play and enjoyed adult food. This was SO easy and exactly what I needed from the organized song play list (I made my selections and MG came up with everything else) to the bubbles that were a major hit. I was so impressed with how well things turned out AND THE PRICE! I can go on and on about how awesome this experience was for my family. Huge thanks to Owner Saira and her team Collin and Danielle who made my son's 3rd birthday phenomenal for him and 20 of his little buddies.
