Seeing Dr. Koperski was my last option, and I honestly wasn't sure anything could be done to help me. Dr. Koperski is a wonderful lister, positive, professional and knowledgeable! Working with her has been a journey of healing, detoxing, and yes, nourishing. I have received amazing results. I have my strength and stamina back. I never thought I would regain hiking, biking, backpacking...but I have. I'm back doing the things I did pre-onset, and I would say "symptom free". So grateful for Nourish, and Dr. Koperski! I hope you know the blessing you have been to me and my family!!! John D

I was referred to Nourish by a friend. I browsed their web site and read over the 'Providers and…read moreStaff' bios to try and decide which doctor I wanted to see based on my needs. Honestly, it was a bit of a shot in the dark. Prices of visits vary depending on who you see. I called to make an appointment, and was disappointed to find out it was about 3 months before I could get in. I was called and offered an earlier appointment when someone else cancelled, but I couldn't make it, so I stuck with my original appointment time. The front desk staff were always pleasant when I interacted with them. You have the option to visit in person or through an on-line virtual video visit. For my first visit, I decided to go in-person as I wanted to make a connection with the doctor and for her to really "see me". The office is very clean, modern and upscale, although not 'cold and clinical'. The decor colors are welcoming and serene. There is a waiting room and then you're called back to your doctor's office and you walk through a common area with a large table. There's a small restroom and a phlebotomist's room. I left after my first visit (which was about an hour) with my head spinning slightly as I felt like I had some 'homework' to do before my next visit. This included downloading an app, through which to order supplements and ordering said supplements. Organizing getting bloodwork (which, after some research turned out to be less expensive through a 3rd party lab, not through the Nourish phlebotomist), ordering a prescription through a compound pharmacy and purchasing and utilizing a continual glucose monitor through another retail outlet. While wearing the monitor, I had to enter any food consumed and any exercise activity into the glucose monitor app. Communication with your Nourish doctor is done through a 'patient portal'. Any messages I sent were usually answered within a couple of days. I also called the front desk a few times with questions. For my second visit, I chose the convenience of meeting virtually on-line to save the commute time. This visit was about 40 minutes, done through the portal. The doctor I chose was professional, knowledgeable and pleasant, but not particularly warm and bubbly. She didn't smile much. Not a lot of pleasantries like , 'How was your summer?' or 'How was the drive here?' or whatever, just strictly down to business. That's OK, but I like a little bit more of a friendlier/interactive bedside manner. Between two visits, some bloodwork (outside my provider network), several supplements, a compound pharmacy prescription and mail delivery, plus purchasing a glucose monitor, (also out of my provider network), I spent just over $1,100. After my second visit, it kind of occurred to me that the operation relies a little heavily on the recommendation of supplements which you order through a portal they suggest -- obviously they make a commission. (I was told by the front desk to 'Not order through Amazon'!) I didn't feel like the first set of supplements had done much, so I decided not to order the second set that was suggested. I felt I was given very minimal nutritional advice. I'm glad I gave Nourish and naturopathy a try and I was pleased that I was tested/monitored for things that my regular medical provider wouldn't bother testing for, however, ultimately I didn't feel like it solved much for me. There is free on-site parking.

It wasn't until I started working with Sam that I realized my idea of healthy, really didn't take into consideration some fundamental truths about nutrition. I quickly learned in my 1:1 sessions how I needed to pivot, and Sam helped me overcome some fears and unfounded food beliefs I had been carrying around. While I believe what Sam is doing should be provided to everyone and especially to school ages children, I am just lucky enough to have gone on Yelp, taken a chance with her, and had the absolute best 6 months of my life. Not only did Sam help me reinvent some of my eating habits, but she changed the trajectory of my health and I believe supported my fertility and conception of baby#2. I highly recommend Sam as a nutritionist, she really invests in you as a person and your healthy future. Thanks Sam!

She showed me how to view food differently. She showed me the how, the why, and everything in between from becoming a better eater but being a better person to myself! I have more clarity on how food affects my body, more knowledgeable about different foods, how to cook them to taste delicious, and it's ok to have a bad moment, there is no judgment. I recognize now how important sleep is and how stress builds on negative outcomes. I am mentally stronger when it comes to food that I actually read the ingredients on every label that enters my home. I am more mindful of my eating habits and eating slowly. Sam taught me to see food as medicine and that changed how I view food. Don't get me wrong, I'll have a cheat meal here and there, but I stay mindful with no judgement, and I can't thank Sam enough for instilling positive vibes and energy into my life! Sam helped me overcome, not only how to become a better eater for me, but for my family. I was also going through one of the hardest times in my life, and I could not have gotten through it without her. I HIGHLY recommend Sam!

Prior to meeting her, she asked me to keep a food log for three days which she used to prepare a very detailed diet analysis which we went over during our meeting; I was impressed with how in depth the analysis was and what I learned from it. In addition to that, we went over the supplements that I was taking... she understands and knows how to use nutrition fact labels and I ended up switching prenatal vitamins based on her review of what I was taking at the time to what she suggested as a better alternative. I was hoping that she would advise more on what I should eat and have some recommended meal plans but that was not included in her scope of services... perhaps I need to see a dietician for that? Nonetheless, I was pleased that she was able to confirm my diet was more than enough to provide my developing baby with the nutrients and such that he needed and felt good about having met with her.
