I've been using this vet for a few years now for my ferals and stray cat spays and neuters. I'm forever grateful for this low cost clinic. No where else around here takes care of the homeless cats and I think this vet does a great job being the only one who offers these services. The fact you can walk in with pregnant mamas and feral male cats, that's a life saver! The office is always busy, so impatient people might have issues with the wait times; but people must consider the sheer volume of cats they spay and neuter. If you want top notch service with no wait time, there are other more expensive but less busy vets in town. Disregard our previous 5 star rating. Because these guys are not who we thought they were. We brought my wife's little service dog in to get her ready for international travel. We spent approx $300 and were at the last step before our flight...which needed to be within 10 days of the actual trip. They told us that it would be $85.00 for her final International travel certificate. Que to today...right after I purchased our plane tickets. I called to set her appointment and they just said "Sorry, there has been a price adjustment. Now it's going to be ANOTHER $500.00 So now we are stuck. My wife NEEDS her service dog. But $85 to $500? What kind of business model is this? read more

My dog passed away due to a infection where she wasn't properly cleaned cause she was in heat and I wasn't in formed till after surgery had to take her to another vet to try and save her life cost me 5 k never got a call from the doctor. I spent a good deal of time there yesterday (2.5 hours) and again today (3hours) I watched the staff the entire time as they acted toward their patients and the animals owners. Each and every time they showed compassion and love. It was amazing to watch! This was the 3rd time I used their services and I can guarantee I will never go anywhere else! Hi again! So here I am posting another review for My Kids Have Paws. And, as with my first review, I am giving this awesome organization a 5 star review. The reason being that, this past Monday, July 12th, I had my dog Buster up there for his neutering surgery. And, as they did with my other dog Riley, they did an outstanding job in taking care of Buster. Buster was very scared and apprehensive about even going into the building because he doesn't like new things. But the team of girls who took care of him exercised great patience and understanding when dealing with him. His fears were brought down, and the operation was a complete success. Afterward, they supplied me with an e-collar, and 4 days worth of pain medication. And they even gave him a nail trim! Ladies, great job. I can honestly say that I will be, from now on taking my dogs there for all their basic veterinary needs. Thank you guys so much! read more

Update..... If I could give less that one star I would. This place is ridiculous. Never have I ever had a complication with a spay or a neuter and now all 4 of my babies have had something wrong. DO NOT TAKE ANY OF YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE! Now Poppys incision almost looks like it is getting infected! I will post a picture in the comments of her little belly! I was very disappointed in the care my pets received at My Kids Have Paws. I took 4 cats in to have 2 neutered and 2 spayed. 3 of the 4 had a complication. And they did not willingly tell me about any of them. One of my males had a charge that none of the others did so I asked what it was and after the girl upfront went to the back to "talk to the doctor" she came back and told me it is where they had to give him a reversal agent because he would not wake up. So I got charge $15 because they over sedated him. It says in my discharge instructions that the males are not sutures or glued due to the incisions being so small I noticed less than 24 hrs that you could see a little pink coming through the incision. So I called and sent them a photo and was told it was "fat" and if I felt comfortable doing it I could grab his scrotum and pull it up and push on it and that fat could be pushed back in. And my 3rd one was one of my females and they called and told me she had fleas and they were going to treat her (none of my pets go outside ever and she was they only one with fleas) and they asked if they could give her subq fluids for $5 and an antibiotics for $15 because "her ligaments didn't look right" I don't work with animals so I didn't know any better so I was like sure do what ever she needs. When I picked them up they specifically asked for me to call the next day and let them know how she was doing. We'll the next morning I got to looking at her incision and what should of been less than 1/2 an inch was actually 2 inches of her 3 inch abdomen. So I called to let them know how she was and asked about why she had such a large incision. The girl at the front again said let me go talk to the doctor. The girl came back amd said so the doctor said "there were bleeding complications so they had to make the incision a little bigger" Now the subq fluids makes more sense because they had to replentish her fluid loss. So 1- they did not willingly tell me about any of the complications, 2- they lied about my female the first time I asked, and 3- they charged me for complications they caused. I am a very understanding person and completely understand that accidents happen. But if you screw up admit it. Don't not tell someone and don't lie about it. And if you are the doctor that operated on the pets talk to the owner instead of pawning it off on your receptionist. read more

Prices are pretty fair. Most of the staff are very friendly. Sometimes it is frustrating not being able to talk with Robin or another Vet and having a new staff handling your pet running back and forth to get your questions or concerns answered when it would have taken 5mins to answer but now has taken 30 for one question.... The other thing is the girl at the counter ( the small one) she is so unfriendly every time I come in. And she will purposely ignore me or send me to others and help the person behind me. Not sure why or what I have done for her to personally treat me like crap but it is super unprofessional and uncalled for! This last week you have lost a customer who ALWAYS brings our pets, has always referred others to you, rescues on my own money and pays for others in your office who couldn't afford your rates.... This girls rude behavior towards me again is the last time I will come to you. You have lost a good customer solely because of her! read more

Absolutely GREAT place! We took our service dog there yesterday. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The service was top-notch, we walked out happy, and our little dog walked out healthy. We were trying to prepare my wife's service dog for international travel and were completely lost as to what was required. What stood out to me was when the vet informed us that the most expensive part of the checklist was not technically required so she did not do it. This saved us a lot of money. Most other vets try to add everything they possibly can so they can charge you more. This vet did the exact opposite and only did what was best for us. We will be taking ALL of our pets here from now on and I highly recommend you do the same. read more

If you want to have your feral cats fixed to curve the population, don't take them here. They will basically call you a liar, saying the feral cats that you captured are not feral, so they can charge you a higher price for having them spayed or neutered and overnighting. They don't care about the feral community. They just want your money. They didn't even tell us they considered our cat a pet until we were there to pay the bill. I inherited this farm with 30 cats on it, and instead of euthanasia, I decided if I could find a reasonable place to get them fixed, I would, and these could just live out their lives here. Now, I will just have to reconsider my options. Why do country people not care about feral animals? This same operation in the Atlanta area, you can find many organizations that will spayed/neutered and give rabies shots for 40 bucks. Why don't country Vets care about the pet population? read more

Brought my dog in because she has a large tumor that needs to be removed. I bring her in for the 1st time and everything seemed good. They gave me a estimate but never instructions on what to do next. I call the next day to schedule another appointment for blood work and I asked about how long it would be to do the surgery. This mass is growing of course and they told me they are booked for over 3 months for surgery. It would be probably be inoperative by then. They never told me anything like that when I was there You would think that's important information to divulge. So now I have to hope I can get her in somewhere to do her surgery. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! I have a rottweiler and I had been taking him here since he was a puppy and they have been scared of him since then. They act like a bear went into the facility, clearing isles, telling others waiting in the lobby to grab their pets, unbelievable! Even with a muzzle on they cannot perform the job they complain about him getting anxiety and kept repeating "you see you should get him neutered" "he acts like that because he isn't neutered" and kept trying to force me to get him neutered. The front desk is very rude they were complaining about my dog in front of my face one saying, "if it was her dealing with this dog, she would give him anesthesia to be able to get his vaccines", and maybe that wouldn't even work". Not only horrible customer service but also having to wait 2 or more hours for an "appointment" that was made weeks in advance. They have 00000000000000 patients for your pups!!!!!!! read more

So I have a bully breed pocket dog and I went for a checkup today was a basic checkup and they told me to be there for 4:00 pm was there 2 minutes early I watched countless people just walking get seen before me and I'm like thinking hey you know it's probably cuz they had an appointment but what time did they have their appointment if mine's is at 4:00 p.m they didn't take me on on time maybe wait 20 to 30 minutes and then they don't like my breed at all so I'm putting a review on here to show other bully breed owners that my kids have paws is not bully breed friendly. read more

This place is terrible! I scheduled an appointment for a rescued animal on a day that was a national holiday. Arrived at the location for pet services and the doors were locked. Try to get them on the phone for any regard- Good Luck. Their voicemail that you WILL get, states: This voicemail system is set up to save our patients time. Huh. Laughable! When I finally got someone on the phone that actually works for the location, Maria is the personnel who I spoke with. And she is the absolute rudest, unprofessional-mannered person of anyone I have corresponded with. Maria, you are a direct example of why people would never do business with your employer. Horrible experience! And even cocky, smart-mouthed and cantankerous as I tried to patch up the huge customer service gap I asked politely for. read more

Good prices and nice employees but terrible communication with customers. I waited an hour and half for a vaccine shot... If they can't handle doing walk-ins in a more organized pace, then they shouldn't have them available. To beat it all, i even called them a a few days beforehand to schedule an appointment for a vaccine and they told me i couldn't schedule that and just to come in anytime.
