We have had such a wonderful experience at My Little Conservatory. My son absolutely loves taking his music class here and looks forward to it every week. We love the group music classes here! Every month the kids learn a different instrument and they use really fun games and songs to teach about rhythm, reading music, and other skills. Their facilities are really clean, colorful, and welcoming. This review is long overdue as we have been attending classes since October 2021. I started taking my daughter when she was 18 months after her pediatrician suggested it would benefit her to attend a group class with children her age. She was born March 2020 so the isolation from the COVID shut down and also that she was not in a daycare because I worked from home, she needed interaction with other children. I was so glad I found MLC, she was so happy attending class, it was my favorite day of the week, it also was healing for me too just to watch her smile and dance and enjoy class so much. Not only the joy of being there but I saw she was a more well rounded child because of her class, she learned how to share which in my opinion at that age, that alone is worth attending. We stopped attending briefly because we had a lot going on around the end of 2022. I then had my son and I started taking him to MLC at 4 months old. I'm so sad I wasn't able to take my daughter since that young because of the COVID shut down but with my son I took him as soon as I was able to. I saw him do his first roll, sit up, stand and take his first steps in class. Mom's give yourself the gift of dedicating that time in class to just bond with your baby with absolutely no distractions. Now that he's 2, he applies the skills he has learned in class to everyday life, he takes turns, he shares with his older sister and other kids, he says please and thank you and is very inquisitive about everything. I feel without a doubt his participation in class since 4 months old has helped tremendously. Now that my daughter is 5 she has taken the intro to piano class and I plan to sign her up for more classes in the future. Both my children love going to MLC and I do too. We have been taking weekly lessons for going on three years with our oldest and we are about to start our youngest in level one. We've had a few different teachers as we've moved through the levels and we have loved them all. Our current class is with Mr. Jeremy and Ms. Willa and they make learning so fun for our daughter. We are so glad we found MLC! My son started taking the Foundations class at three months old and is still attending at almost 11 months. We will soon be moving up to the next level. We have both learned so much at MLC and have met some great people. Our regular instructor is Ms. Taylor who is amazing. She remembers all of students' names and the babies love her beautiful singing voice and engaging teaching style. We have also had wonderful experiences with owner, Ms. Amelia, who is super knowledgable about all things kindermusic, Ms. Marina, and Ms. Danielle. Overall the staff is professional and friendly. My daughter has shown a keen interest in music since 6-7 months old. We started her here a little after 1 year old but she was still very shy and scared of strangers and people in general, so we took a pause. We sent her back once she was about 20 months old and now she is SOOO happy and excited in class. They do lots of different activities like story time and bubbles and instruments. Also definitely a good way to start to socialize them. I appreciate their sick policy. It's also easy to text them with questions. We've been looking for a another class for my twin boys who are now 13 months old. My dad plays the clarinet so he was very excited about music class. We were referred to my little conservatory by a friend of ours that attends classes with her little one. We were on the waitlist for a couple of weeks and then two spots opened up. I had originally signed up for the lap baby class but after talking with Kim we decided that the next class up qas best for my boys. We had our first class Wednesday.... boy did my boys love it. Also my dad loved it. The classes are very small and very covid safe... masks, hand sanitizers and air filters. They also keep the windows open. Our teacher, Ms. Marina was super friendly, fun and knowledge best of all she didn't want to kick us out when my boys were obsessed with turning on and off the air purifiers! We can't wait to go back Wednesday! But there is more!!! My little conservatory sent us in the mail a handwritten letter with pictures of our first class, the letter welcomed us to their family and explained how excited they were to watch our boys grow up loving music. We made the decision to pull my daughter out of the class, just because the recent increase in numbers for covid. As things start to settle again, hopefully, we plan to rejoin. Update: 8 months later and we still love the Kindermusik classes at My Little Conservatory. Amelia has moved into her own studio, and it's a perfect location for the classes. The room is plenty big and decorated perfectly for little ones. Bonus: Parking is easy! Even though there are music classes closer to me in Sunnyvale, we've made the trip down to Willow Glen for the past 1.5 years because Amelia's classes are so perfect. read more
