We come to Clarksburg every few months to visit my mom and we passed this storefront last time we were here. Stopped by today (Sat) at around noon. They didn't have many flavors left so we tried one of each !! I was skeptical. We are huge cupcake eaters at home where we have multiple gourmet cupcake stores. Wow !!! Every flavor was delicious. The cake was moist and the icing wasn't too sweet. I see on their website that they do custom cakes. We will definitely stop by the next time we are in town for a visit. Give them a try. My Little Cupcake made my son the perfect 4th birthday cake! I have never ever gotten compliments on a kids bday party cake (probably because I often go grocery store sheet cake), until now! My Little Cupcake made the most adorable racecar cake, with real hot wheels on top. It was such a hit. The kids raved, and the parents all asked where I got it! It was absolutely delicious as well as adorable. The owners were delightful to work with and the price point was excellent. I love this place so much that I made my parents (who live near Bridgeport) ferry the cake to the birthday party (we live in the Washington DC area). While I have not had the pleasure of walking into this store I have enjoyed their treats many times. My husband works very close to this establishment and likes to bring home goodies when he can. The first life changing cupcake was the key lime pie one OMG live a little and try it! I also really like the pepperoni rolls ( no cheese) the kids think they are the bees knees and they are! I am in love with them! I usually take but from both when my husband brings them home for the kids lunches. I also enjoy their chocolate chip cookies my hubby brought some home the other day and I told him I just wanted a half, needless to say I ended up eating a whole cookie and was looking for one more. What a cute, hidden place! It's a gem of a place in downtown Clarksburg that you would miss if you weren't looking for it. I actually found out about this business when I went to a local farmers market on a previous trip in to visit my mother. After one sample of a cupcake, I've been on the hunt to try them again. Admittedly, the location leaves a little to be desired, but I'm sure it's better finically than a different place. Regardless of the locale, the cupcakes are light and delicious. They do both a vanilla and salted chocolate well. I always like to support up and coming, local businesses. Please do yourself a favor and go try the cupcakes. read more

While in town for work, I stopped here after reading all the great reviews on yelp. Being a huge cupcake fanatic, I try to find a local bakery or cupcake shop everywhere that my job takes me in the Northeast region. I was able to find street parking right in front of My Little Cupcake and headed right in. The guy working the counter was super friendly and answered all my questions. I ended up with a vanilla cupcake and a salted caramel cupcake. The icing was a little too sweet for my taste but the actual cake was excellent. I really like their pepperoni rolls ($2) which are only available at lunch time and you should call ahead to reserve some as they sell out quickly. Their cupcakes ($2) are also pretty good and have an assortment of flavors that vary by day. If you buy 6 cupcakes you get one for free and a dozen will get you two for free. They also do custom cakes and cookies and occasionally cinnamon rolls. They sell out pretty reguraly so by 2:30 their stock maybe very low. They have a ton of space so I don't understand why their display case is so small. The owners also have no staff so if they take a vacation the shop will close. read more

I have been wanting to try this little spot for quite some time, and today was finally my day! My mother and I got 6 assorted cupcakes and 2 cinnamon rolls. The cupcakes were perfect. So fresh and moist, and most importantly the right ratio of cake and frosting. I appreciate a well-crafted cupcake, and this place got it right. The Reese cup had such an amazing peanut butter frosting. So delicious. I will definitely be back. I can't wait to try their pepperoni rolls next!!!! I first discovered this bakery from the food truck they bring to the local farmers market. They have now opened this little shop and it is not quite all put together yet. I love that it is a family oriented spot- owned by a husband and wife team, has a family friendly atmosphere, and has a big play area for kids while you're getting your cupcake on. I have tried the strawberry shortcake, the cinnamon rolls, and the cupcakes. Let me tell you right now, the shortcake is to die for. It is sweet, but not cloyingly so, it is the biscuit based kind that is not so common to find, and when you add the strawberries and whipped cream on top... Man, that stuff is delicious. However, strawberries aren't in season and they aren't currently offering it. The cinnamon rolls are really great too, especially if you get them early while they are still warm and gooey. I'm pretty picky about cream cheese frosting and theirs is a 10/10. The cupcakes themselves leave a little to be desired in some areas, which is a bummer because that is what this business is all about. During our most recent trip to the shop, I got a cookie dough cupcake and my fiance got a hot chocolate cupcake. The cookie dough cupcake was just a vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. Nothing recognizably cookie dough except the cookie and chocolate chip garnish on top. I was expecting cookie dough filling or something, but there was none. The hot chocolate cupcake was pretty good, but was really just a chocolate cupcake with marshmallows on top (even though that was what I was expecting). The cupcakes are very good though. Definitely some of the best. Way way better than store bought, and way better than the Morgantown located Cupcakerie. These cupcakes are flavourful and moist and the frosting is not overly sweet. I will be coming back here often, I just hope they can make some adjustments to their specialty flavours and have shortcake all year round! read more

On the day of shower, I arrived to pick up my order and the bakery was closed for a private party. I had to call the owner to come to the shop and get my order.
