From our very first meeting with Barry and Ellen, everything was easy, organized, and stress-free. They completely brought our vision to life -- the room was absolutely stunning, and the food was beyond delicious. They went above and beyond to accommodate us, from helping coordinate cash payments to letting us bring our own alcohol, and even allowing me to come in a few days early to set up décor. The ballroom is two floors with the second floor looking down into the first. When I attended the wedding the couple got married at the venue as well. Everything was handled flawlessly when turning it over to dining after the ceremony. Food was great too! The event tonight was very nice. There was plenty of room for the many registration tables. The ballroom held over 30 tables for businesses to share their well known dishes. There were also also high top tables throughout.

It is tight seating, I won't deny that but not so bad. Overall the venue is between a 3 star and 4 star. I do want to recommend an early arrival to get parking and avoid any lines. There is an elevator but you I recommend calling ahead to verify if you may need assistance.

Once I walked in, immediately the room of the event was decorated nicely. The ballroom was spacious, decent sized dance floor, and a bar. This particular event had a cash bar with complimentary soft drinks. I ordered a cosmopolitan drink that was made nicely. I peeped that the bar offered casamigos too (nope lol; I drove). The food was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the lobster bisque, salmon, and potatoes! Yummy! The staff were all nice and professional. Nearly every family member commented about how beautiful the venue was decorated in purple, white and silver. Also, we found the location without any challenges and there was plenty of parking. While many people consider this location for parties in the evening or weekends, it was actually perfect for mid-day and a repast. The owner worked beautifully with our caterers and even rolled up her sleeves to ensure our event was perfect! The man she had with her did ask how our night went but she did not. As far as I know , it's her venue so I hold her to a high regard. The person who we gave the party for was a stroke victim , who was still in recovery and we just wanted to celebrate her still being here with us for her 60th . Plus It had stormed so bad before our event that it set us back. We had a large amount of ppl coming to us from Philly, Delaware , NY and even Raleigh NC. So our event started at 5 but honestly ppl didn't get there until 6/630 cause it rained so bad. The owner was back at 10pm sharp and walking around huffing and puffing and making smart comments about what she wouldn't do and would do if this was her party. She made us feel very uncomfortable. Not welcoming at all. There was a moment while cleaning up that my sister in law was about to snap on her for being so rude . Honestly I would never recommend, refer or use this event space ever again. I was one of the ones shouting for ppl to go here . I own two very popular businesses in the same area , so I am in contact with so many ppl on a daily basis. I pride myself on love , customer service and professionalism. In the last 5 years Of being in business I would never make my customers feel so uncomfortable and unappreciated. We paid our money to be there . We went over and beyond to make this happen for the person we wanted to celebrate. And to have such a nasty demeanor was disgusting. The venue is nice , but there are other venues in the same area where we have had events at , with better aesthetics and was treated with so much more respect. She should humble herself a bit. I just really wanted to support this venue cause of how I felt before when I met her . Ppl show their true colors eventually.

What struck me most was that the room was hot. My dad asked several times to have the temp regulated and was told that the system is slow to cool the room. My aunt went with the in-house caterer and they did a nice job. Dinner included a spread of salads, roast beef, meatballs and sausage, ziti, veggies, etc. It was a standard menu but the food was good, definitely better than expected. We had a DJ for the party and I had to request that the lighting be adjusted so that we weren't all dancing in the bright light. This is a no frills kind of place that may require some extra DIY, but it's not a bad option for a birthday or shower.
