They welcomed Rocko with caress making him feel comfortable as well as myself. They took their time to learn about his personality and routine. There was positive energy throughout the facility, which was spotless and smelled amazing. I appreciate the pictures and the report card that was given to me at pickup. When they were bringing Rocko to me he wanted to go back and play which said it all that he had a blast! When he got to the truck he was happy and tired which was a good thing, he slept all night. I can't say enough about this place but bring your fur baby you will be glad you did!

Ian was knowledgeable, supportive, and made the process both fun and effective. I especially love the group classes--they're a great refresher of everything we learned during our one-on-one lessons and help reinforce Billy's progress in a social setting. The whole team is fantastic--professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do. I couldn't have asked for a better training experience!

Our family's golden retriever had a horrible experience with board and train. They just use shock…read morecollars and horrify the poor dog into whatever obedience they show in the exit meeting. wouldn't provide any updates during the four week period without repeated texts and phone calls, and refused to allow us to visit during the boarding period and were dodgy about why. We paid thousands of dollars for nothing. Our dog came home knowing nothing but fear of the shock controller. AVOID THiS PLACE !!!!! HORRIBLE

Like everyone else we…read moregot a puppy and thought we could manage with the training ourselves with just a typical puppy class. You know the story.... Life got in the way and our efforts were just not making the cut.... it was time to turn to a Professional! Thinking about leaving our "baby" in the care of someone else for 4 whole weeks was a bit scary at first! As soon as Banks met Liz and seemed to just melt around her all of our fears were quickly gone! Liz has the presence where dogs just know to respect her :) 4 weeks later Banks was walking on a leash well enough for a toddler to walk him, had learned how to "Place" on his bed and went into his Kennel with ease. He no longer jumped all over us and had a sense of calm about him we had never seen before. I only wish I would have taken a Before video as the changes were that remarkable. Banks is a very smart dog but we were very amazed at the things he was able to master in his 4 weeks at Carolina Canine Training. I can't recommend this team enough and am so thankful we have a place to send our next puppy!! I wonder if they take kids too? ;) Oh, and we loved all of the updates we received via email, text and phone. I'm pretty sure the hardest part of dog training might be dealing with the parents!

First grooming experience…read more Never had a problem in the store; However, the grooming salon was a different experience. First, let me say, I have an 11 month old lab puppy--He is hyper and can be hard to deal with because he is always happy, playful but very strong. I chose a male groomer for this purpose and made PetSmart aware when making the appointment that he can be hard to control. Since I have bathed him at Pet Market, I know these people have restraints for strong dogs. While the groomer was okay when I talked with him at drop off, I did not have a good feeling when I left. The entire vibe was off in the room with everyone and I already knew I would not be back when I signed the paperwork. I went up the road to Chick-fil-A and waited with the phone beside me. The manager called an hour later and said they couldn't do a service, which was a relief to pick him up. The manager explained he was too hyper but was nice about it. I was also told me when I got there, my dog had lunged at a couple of other dogs, which is uncharacteristic of him since he is a lover not a fighter. He is still a dog nonetheless and I was not there. They did offer another appointment time when it was calmer for him when I picked him up. I declined. Overall, I just didn't get the impression many of these groomers cared for animals. The vibe was off for a reason and that's enough for me.
