We have a 1yr old pitbull, Rocko that is sweet, friendly and very energetic. He has never been to boarding so we were very nervous, but when we arrived the staff was phenomenal. They welcomed Rocko with caress making him feel comfortable as well as myself. They took their time to learn about his personality and routine. There was positive energy throughout the facility, which was spotless and smelled amazing. I appreciate the pictures and the report card that was given to me at pickup. When they were bringing Rocko to me he wanted to go back and play which said it all that he had a blast! When he got to the truck he was happy and tired which was a good thing, he slept all night. Our Lab, Luna, spent five days recently with Pampered Pets. She is 3 and this was the first time she had been boarded. Soon after moving to North Carolina, I had a wedding I needed to go to back on the West Coast. I had to scrounge, as it was, to find an animal hospital that could give my three dogs a clean bill of health prior to boarding them. Once I got in quickly with one, it was soon discovered that one of my Great Danes had hook worm. I was so deflated, as we were running against the wire and I had already booked a very lovely weekend for them at Pampered Pets. The onboarding/registration gal walked me through the whole process and assured me that even though Cleo was infected, they would still board her. There was of course just precautions they'd have to take -- and they wouldn't be able to play with all the other dogs. While I had to pay extra - which in the circumstances, I was so glad to do -- my babes still were kept comfortable and received extra love. The only con to this place is that they are a bit far from me, but I would absolutely drive the distance each and every time I need my babes to have overnight accommodations. Price was reasonable and the facilities are beautiful! They are happy to provide you a tour, and let's just say, if they had human quarters, I'd probably take a staycation there, myself. For context, I have two Great Danes that stayed with them, one of which was/is a puppy and was very scared and bite-y, and they were still so amazing and understanding. 10/10 read more

This is the only place we trust to board and groom our now senior dogs. We've used their services for years now and won't even consider taking them anywhere else. We've also used their day care services. The facilities are great but it's the staff that really makes this place so reliable. They're all caring, responsible and they actually listen to and follow thru on any special requests we've had for one of our old dogs. Pampered Pets Inn is our favorite place to board our two medium sized dogs. They both get so excited when we announce, "Doggy Daycare!", and are eager to enter the building. All the staff are extremely caring, helpful and kind. Our dogs have no hesitation getting belly rubs from any of them. Boarding options - including extra love and snacks - are much appreciated, especially for long stays. It is also nice to get the option of photo updates to check in to see how they are doing. One of our dogs has sensitive skin and they monitor him for sore paws. He is an older, slow dog who they make sure to group with others like him during play time. Our other high energy dog has her own play group too and we've seen photos of her having the best of times with new friends. Highly recommend Pampered Pets Inn! read more

I mean, this place is Disney World for my dog!! She tries to go back inside when we leave. Need I say more? They treat our French bulldog Zelda like she is their own. They all know her by name! It seems like everyone's main goal is to shower each dog with love and attention. We have used Pampered Pets Inn for 4 years now. They are absolutely amazing with our 3 dogs. Two of the dogs have gone through their training program as well (the 3rd was a much older rescue). While our youngest dog was quite shy, the training staff went above and beyond to help her come out of her shell and build her confidence. We love Pampered Pets Inn! Our little Samson is not use to being around other dogs, but he had the time of his life while we were away. Every time we checked out their Facebook page there was a picture of our little guy mingling with other dogs. We couldn't believe our eyes! He was actually enjoying being around other dogs! We greatly appreciated the pictures that were posted... seeing is believing. I can't say enough about the staff. They are always friendly and on top of things. They are very attentive and are always there to greet our little guy to make him feel extra special. Whenever I called or texted to check in on him, a friendly staff member always responded to me. I travel a lot now with a new job and Pampered pets is the best for accommodating me even in late notice. Guinness loves going there and is excited when we pull in. He always gets his energy out while there and sleeps most of the day after doggie daycare. I love the doggie report cards about the new friends he meets. I am super impressed with Pampered Pets Inn. The facility is always very clean (remarkable for a kennel), the staff is always friendly and professional (and they all clearly love dogs) and the grooming service, an attached business, always does a great job on my pups. The girls at the desk are delightful and hardworking and the groomers are the best in town. All of the costs are very fair and in some cases cheaper than a lot of other kennels in the area. The yards are well kept and there are always staff out there with the dogs for safety and added fun. All of the dogs are closely examined to make sure that they play well together and are in the right group. You can see them playing from the parking lot and it is really a joy to watch. The dogs are all clearly having a blast! The other day I found out that they do dog training now. I was waiting for my pups to come out and I watched the trainer working with a big, black lab. It was amazing to watch this guy work. The dog walked without pulling on the leash and continued to stay right alongside of the trainer when he dropped the leash too. The dog waited for permission to walk through doors and came when called and sat at the guy's feet. The trainer got the dog to beg, shake hands, spin in a circle, and not just sit and lay down but to hold those positions as well. But the most impressive thing to me was that the dog would go up on this elevated cot and wouldn't move. The trainer threw treats on the floor around it and the dog still would't budge. I asked the trainer what the bed was all about and he told me that the dog could not leave the bed without permission. He said it helps calm the dog and it can be used when the doorbell rings or whenever the dog is hyper or in the way. I asked him how long the dog had been training and he said two weeks! I talked with him for a while about his training and was surprised to see that he wasn't using shock collars. He said he never used them because he sees them as inhumane. I agreed. I never got my dogs trained before because I thought everyone used those awful things. Now I know better! If I get them trained I know just where I'm going. Thanks, Pampered Pets! read more

I LOVE them! I drive up from NoDa because I'm so happy with their service. My doodle gets so excited to go there and they take such good care of her. Their service is excellent - easy to schedule, they'll check your vets records for you and make sure you're staying updated, you can call in for updates, and they send us pictures of our dog when she's staying there. We even get a daily report card! Also, even without a bath, she never smells bad / is dirty when we pick her up like at other places. Their facility is beautiful with huge suites and the outdoor play areas (with a pool!) are really nice. They're not the cheapest place in town, but I feel 100% comfortable when my dog is in their care and so to me, it's worth every penny! We take one sometimes both dogs here for daycare weekly. I don't even know where to begin but this Place is awesome! The staff is courteous, attentive and show genuine love for your pet. They run a tight ship that is very efficient as well. The amenities for dogs to play and have snacks are great! My dog is a little skittish around noise and newness, but she drags me inside the building every time we arrive and goes looking for the folks there she knows will come take her to play. I find her sitting on the lap of someone up front when I come to pick her up, being one of the last pick ups of the day, looking like Queen Sheba on the throne. We used to take our dogs here, but not anymore. We would pick them up after a day of playing and the employees couldn't tell us if they had had a good day, a rough day, or if they even played with other dogs at all. After ten or twelve visits, my dogs were terrified to go inside. They would shake and cry, and we would have to drag them in. Beyond impressed with their love for dogs and how well they take care of my fur baby while I'm at work. My dog attends their doggy daycare 2x a week, she is a rescue with extreme separation anxiety and instead of being alone at home I thought some interaction will help. The staff completely catered to her and my needs, placing in a big suite during the day and taking her out with the toy group of dogs at first to gain confidence. Whenever I call the staff during to day to check on her they are extremely happy and helpful to give me an update. The facilities are clean, organized and are selected with who they allow in to their daycare. While we were doing our meet and greet a dog was denied, which is comfortable to know they are concerned for the overall safety and well being of all the animals and not just concerned about money. We take our fur baby to PP all the time for either daycare or overnight boarding. Winston loves visiting and loves the people and other dogs that he is around. He is always happy and tired from all of the play time that he gets while at PP. Winston is a very social dog and gets tons of interaction here. We highly recommend Pampered Pets to everyone. These are two happy and loving dogs but when we pick them up they were afraid to come to me and I'm the owner. Let me start out by saying I adore my dog and she is spoiled ROTTEN to prove it. I hate to leave her but sometimes I have to go somewhere without her. I have become very comfortable dropping her off with Terry and her FANTASTIC staff. My girl is treated like a princess and her neuroses (no BIG dogs, no set meal times) are met with compassion and understanding. She has been attended 'Doggy Day Care' several times now and I see a great improvement in the way she reacts to other dogs because of the socialization and positive experiences she has received at this wonderful facility. I am so confident in the marvelous care she is given that I am actually going to board her overnight while I go out of town. My girl will be staying in a 'luxury' suite while I am gone! New ownership this year. Dogs are not in the yard starting about 2:50 - at least on the few days that I stopped by early to watch. Last group in the house at that time and no new rounds coming out. Price increase of 100%. when asked why got 'we are improving the quality of care'. Great, that's fine - How? No answer. It's okay to take a price increase - although not 100%, but you have to explain it if it is ridiculously high. No doggie day care on Sundays now due to new hours so get what you need to get done on Saturday between 9 & 5. Used to love it and my dog went on average 3 days a week. Looking elsewhere read more

My two dogs stayed there last month and noticed there was a 100% increase on my bill and was not notified when I got a call to confirm. Recently called to bring my dogs there for the weekend and was placed on hold and was told they had a waiting list. We have been taking our black lab, Banks, to Pampered Pets for the past 6 months. He absolutely loves it! We tell him he's going to "doggy daycare" and he cries (with excitement) in the car all the way there! And after we pick him up, he cries all the way home! Banks really enjoys doggy daycare and always comes home exhausted! It's been a great way to get him socialized from a young age. We recently had Banks trained by Kris at Pampered Pets (re: After reading Nick C's comment I realized he was referring to Banks!). Banks is 10 months old, 70lbs and has all of the enegy that goes along with a 10 month old lab puppy. We wanted to make sure he was correctly taught his commands (and listend to them, too!) After his 3 week training, it's incredible to see how much progress Banks has made. Kris went over and beyond the normal commands (place, sit, down..) and taught him to "spin" and "beg"! Banks no longer pulls us when we go on walks, and knows to hold his commands until we tell him he is "free". The training package with him being boarded for 3 weeks was definitely the way to go. Banks was able to participate in doggy daycare and also work with Kris a few times a day. I can't end this review without mentioning how great the staff is. Everyone is always willing and able to address any and all of my concerns or questions I may have. I feel as if they love Banks as much as we do! I had many concerns about Banks being away from us for 3 weeks during training - especially when we were hit with 2 snow/ice storms. It's a great feeling knowing that your pet will be well taken care of no matter what the circumstances are. Long story short, Pampered Pets is amazing, and I would definitely recommend boarding, doggy daycare and training! read more

We, and our 3 dogs, are all very pleased with the care at Pampered Pets Inn. The staff are great, and the dogs are happy to go there. They have been very good giving the dogs baths, nail trims, and medications. We appreciate them letting us know of any concerns, questions about the medications, and how each dog did at the end of the stay. They are very patient and gentle with our older dog, and the 2 middle aged ones are getting plenty of playtime and exercise to tire them out at the end of the day. 5 stars! read more
