He was assigned by American home shield, I have got nothing but excuses and blaming others on why he can not do the job correctly. He lies and never responds or returned when he said he would. He first came out prior to thanksgiving and still has not completed the job. I finally got AHS to assign me a new repair man. I would not use him for any reason ever again I would rather replace everything than use the insurance I pay for repairs. read more

My husband is very mechanically inclined so he tried fixing my daughter's heating unit. He called this man and asked what it sounded like to him. He told him several things to try, but if they didn't work, he'd be happy to stop by in the afternoon. It didn't fix it so he stopped by and was able to quickly diagnose and fix it. Very knowledgeable and very friendly. I dont think anyone could have beaten his price. Will definitely keep his number. read more

If I could give this company zero stars I would. We went without air for three full weeks because of their failure to see that the unit was beyond repair and needed to be completely replaced. After showing up unannounced several times (including once at 10:15pm) and milking American Home Shield for every penny they could on repairs and freon, they said they had to order a whole new condenser. Took another week for them to actually come out and replace the broken one. Continued to dodge our calls when we asked for updates and hung up on my husband twice. After I complained that the AC had been out for weeks I was told that it's normal for their customers to go without for longer than we had and I should be thankful it wasn't that long. Oh, did I mention I'm 7 months pregnant? Don't call this company unless you want to be treated like an unwanted dog. read more

Will call you back. Three weeks later still no call. AHS keeps assigning him. Yeah thats a whole other review. I block caller ID and guess what. He answers. Makes a ton of excuses. Tells me be there next day. Again a no show. From research and asking around guess thats what he is known for. How he dares look people in the face is shameful. Im embarrassed for him. The military owned and operated My Mr.fixit company was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They also had considerably lower prices then the other companies in the area. My system is working great now thanks to these guys. I also signed into thier maintenance program for a low annual cost and they comes out twice a year to service my system. I strongly recommend them and won't consider any other company. read more

"It is the Customer service I Take issue with. Our home is for sale and unit broke before having to leave town. They were assigned to us by our home warranty company. Our realtor was there for the initial visit and paid them the fee for service call. Technician returned to finish the job. There were additional cost not covered by warranty. So when I asked about what was owed so I could get payment to them. I was threatened if I didn't pay them they would put a lien on my home. Well, I was just informed of the cost. I did not appreciate being threatened by this company. Not good customer service. I contacted my bank and sent them payment.Letting me know what was due without the added threat would have been sufficient. Will never use them again!" read more

My central air was not cooling and it's extremely hot out. Called late afternoon and was able to come out the next day. The gentleman was very nice and explained to my wife that some wiring had come loose and was able to fix very quick. Great honest service and extremely happy. You can't go wrong! read more

Jim was a subcontractor hired by a GC that was remodeling a property I had in Lawton. I had to let the GC go, for several reasons, and he had refused to pay Jim for the work he had done. Because Jim's loyalty was towards the GC, he then decided that I was to be responsible for the payment, despite having a SIGNED CONTRACT stating that the GC was responsible for paying all subcontractors. Apparently Jim thought I was the only viable option to get payment from, so he filed an illegal lien on my property. Since I do not live in Lawton, and I am not a "local", I didn't have the time to fight the lien with the county. Without any sort of remorse or consideration to the position I was left in due to the GC, Jim felt that because I had the money to pay, that I should pay, despite the laws of the State of Oklahoma and my signed contract with the GC. On top of that, I had to go back and fix work that Jim had done. When Jim was on the job site, he did more socializing than working. Not only is he unprofessional, he is greedy and lazy as well. If you want to avoid extra costs and legal headaches, I recommend using someone who takes pride in their character, quality of work, and costumer service. read more

I agree with the poster Kristen D. I used them last month but I won't use them again. Me and another person I know both had service scheduled through Mr. Fix It. They are very unprofessional! They don't keep their appointments, thereby having you wait around all day missing work. They didn't even have the professional courtesy to call and say they were too busy and had to reschedule.They just didn't show up. Then when they do show up, they're not prepared or try to overcharge you by telling you your unit needs more Freon, when it may not or try to charge for more freon than the unit actually needs. For both of us, they had to come back another time because they didn't have equipment they needed and even said the temperature inside my house was too hot to complete the job that day. Too hot inside my house! Well, yeah, that's why I need AC service. And, yes, they do avoid your calls. Here is their number 580-919-9200, I bet if you call right now no one will answer your call and their mailbox will be full! Ah yeah, full of people calling and leaving messages to see when they can expect you to fix their AC. They get a lot of their business through American Home Shield, and American Home Shield is a good company but some of the service people they contract are terrible and unprofessional, like this company. I took them off my AHS list and told them I don't want them anymore and why. AHS won't know the low quality service of this company if you don't tell them so if you're schedule through AHS let them know the problems you're having with them. If their company comes up when you schedule service through AHS, cancel the service and reschedule so another company name will come up or call AHS and tell them why you don't want them to service your AC, they will note your account to not use this company. They don't answer their phone, don't return calls, don't keep their appointments and then just show up without even a 30 minute out phone call to say their on their way. They just ignore you because they know you're scheduled through AHS but you do have a choice in what company you want to use through AHS if you tell them you have had problems with them before and if enough people complain about their service. No excuse to not be professional. Even if you're busy, you can take the end of the day or early morning to be professional and return phone calls and let people know when you're coming to their home. We all work too and can't just sit around day after day waiting to see if you will show up! Very unprofessional. I'm posting this on Lawton Grapevine also. They need to treat customers better. read more
