I came to Great Lakes for my husbands boot camp graduation and I was completely at a loss for figuring out how to get around. I'm under 21 so renting a car was not an option for me but he made getting around so simple! He's ALWAYS on time and has the best communication skills (seriously he navigated me through the airport flawlessly). He's incredibly fair with his rates and if you're not sold yet, he goes so far above and beyond. I missed my flight back to California because of some ridiculous baggage issue, leaving me stressed out worried about lodging and he called around and found me a hotel for the night!! I couldn't believe it. He took into consideration where I'd want to be for the day and guided me to my best possible option. IWell, being under 21 they wouldn't allow me to book the room so he actually let me book the hotel in his name. I damn near wanted to cry on the spot because this was the most amazing customer service I had ever received from ANYONE. I'm so grateful that Sarge sent him my way when I called. During my 22 years in the military,I have not met anyone with a taxi/transportation company who is also a treasure trove of information. You don't need a smart phone, GPS, nor map. Sarge is it! Immediately upon meeting Sarge you feel he is " friend of the family" and you are "in good hands". Even though I have driven through the Chicago area 20 years ago and forgotten much of the drive, Sarge updated me where to go, what to see, how to miss congested areas, and best places to stay. I have never been to Great Lakes. But on the drive from Midway airport, Sarge made us feel like we were in a homecoming. On Thursday evenings he sponsors a "meet and greet" time in which all visitors who attend have the opportunity to meet others whose sailor may have spent the last two months at boot camp. He also has library of information on his website. I highly recommend his services to anyone visiting Great Lakes. FANTASTIC... If I could give them 10 stars... I would. There is no better service on earth. We were attending my daughter's Navy graduation and Jack Nease was our driver, our informant, his advice was spot on, every time we called him he was there whether it be 5:45am or 9:30pm. He took us everywhere: on base, Anastasia's Restaurant (like 3 times), graduation, airport, other hotels to pick up other guests, wherever... whenever. He even ASKED everyone in the car "do you have your ID"... he even took a guest back to hotel to get her ID that she forgot. He's amazing.. this is top of the line service. He practically became family before we left and we were only there 3 days. I gave my sailor his cell number so I know she will be in great hands when she's off base. I have to say our whole trip to see my son's PIR October 2017 was a wonderful experience. Making reservations with Sarge was super simple. We came up from Florida and this being my first and only child in the Navy I was unsure of how the weekend would go. Will knew exactly what we needed to do from getting the tickets first thing to signing my son out for liberty. He was friendly, funny, on time or early, and super accommodating. We felt very well taken care of for our whole trip. My son will be calling Will when ever he needs to leave the base.
