The owner guides you along through the project. Each of us encouraged to make the painting our own. It was here I discovered painting. Have since signed up for 2 more projects....can't wait. There are Crafty Kiddo's Art camps and project days. She always has something for kids to do outside the shop for free. The kids enjoy being allowed to draw on the sidewalk with chalk. As the Grandparent of a Special Needs child this place is exactly what my Grand child needed. Her project slots fill up fast. I am also going to sign up for a few private classes to learn more about painting. I am a photographer, but this allows me to explore a new media. I had lost most of my camera abilities after a series of mini strokes. I am so grateful for this shoppe and how it has allowed me to find my inner artist I didn't know was there....away from a camera.

The quality of service and final product is out of this world compared to other sign shops in the area that I've worked with in the past. I hope that my experience can be chalked up to the person answering the phone having a really…read more(really) bad day. I called to have 3 vinyl signs made- mind you, this was after I had tried twice to go there and once to leave a message with no success. When I called this time, I was met with an aggressive expectation that I would know his side of the business and do all the work. I was able to tell him the sizes I needed for my signs, but he kept trying to put the onus on me to do extra work to create these signs. When I told him I needed more help understanding so we could make decisions, he got more aggressive and told me that he didn't need to make the sign for me. Clearly, he didn't. The good news is I was able to call a sign company in Lacey, they gave me an exact quote and it was about $200 less than he eventually stated. I wanted to support a small, local business- shame!
