I walked in without an appointment and was timely taken. The nail technician suggested some really cute new gel nail colors that they had just gotten in. The owner is very unfriendly and extremely unprofessional. She clearly thinks she is something quite special and that customers should be happy to be seated in her very tired salon. I sat through a pedicure and manicure and listened to the entire staff complain about their customers. I was barely acknowledged when I walked in and my technician said little more than two words to me the entire time. The only time I received attention was when a tip was expected. The entire experience was very uncomfortable and I couldn't wait to leave. Needless to say, I will not go back. read more

This salon appeared on yelp as having threading services. I called to confirm and was told three times, yes we do threading and was given a price as well. I made an appointment and came in. I told The woman at the front that I was there for my threading appointment and not until I sat down on the chair in the back was I told they do not do threading. This was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. read more

Just ok. Technician repeatedly stopped to talk to other technicians (not speaking English) so I had no idea what was so important that you have to keep stopping to chat. She did not pumice my left foot, only the right, probably so distracted. Polish job was fair. Will go back to T and L. read more

I've now been to My Polished Salon a few times and absolutely love it. First off, the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing and is so much nicer than any other nail salon I've been to. Second, the place has an emphasis on cleanliness. Their tools are all sanitized and I am always confident in their ability to give me as clean of a mani/pedi as it is good. Third, they have an amazing selection of nail polish with the best brands and utilities especially for gel polish. Finally, the people who work at My Polished Salon are friendly, professional, warm, and great at their job. The only place I will go for gel manicures and pedicures now! My gel mani's have lasted longer than any other salon in the area as the staff takes their time on each nail to ensure the highest quality :) I've only received one pedicure from My Polished but I was not ashamed to show my toes on vacation - it was an excellent paint job! I have been frequenting this salon, first as a visitor, then as a resident of Kennett. I always ask for Kim, who is a miracle worker, when it comes to nail problems. Her pedicures never chip and last until my nails grow too long. No chemical smells here and it's spotless, pleasant and obviously great working atmosphere for the techs. I think there's a senior discount day on Tuesday and they offer a $20 off ticket after a certain number of visits. read more

The staff is very attentive right when you walk through the door. One of the best and fastest manicures I have ever had. My manicurist, Molika, took time to make sure every nail was perfect and mixed 2 colors to give me the perfect gel manicure that went with my skin tone.
