All the latest colors/patterns/designers are represented for your projects. There is also an active classroom that was full on our visit, as well as a back room with several long arm machines that you can rent to finish your projects, or you can leave it for finishing. The day of our visit a kit caught the eye of my MIL, but we could not find the panel or pattern by itself. When we inquired at the desk, the salesperson was so polite and friendly, she opened the kit for us and sold what we wanted separately (pictured!) as it was the last one in the store. We received excellent customer service even though they were swamped with customers. The only negative comment I have is their prices-very competitive on supplies, kits & patterns, but the highest in the area for fabric (average $13.50/yard). Beautiful selections are available for that special fabric you have been searching for, but not for all your fabric needs if you quilt a lot.

Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and especially knowledgeable; Laura is a sewing treasure! They are hands-on with free classes with your machine purchase, and follow-up with questions and help afterwards. They also have a fun, comprehensive class calendar as well. They didn't service my brand but the man was so nice...gave me pointers and I was able to get it working again. WHO DOES THAT? When I went in, thing were organized, clean, clearly marked and the staff was friendly, knowledgeable and mannerly. That means a whole lot to me. I found beautiful options and some things on sale. I made all my kids clothes when they were little. Just starting to sew again after 25 years. What a blessing to find this place. Staff there should teach lessons on customer service. I'm going back!

I dropped off and pre-paid for framing a month ago and have heard nothing-no store member has ever reached out. Went in in person to check on order and it was apparently just laying on a work table two weeks later with no work done and no notes. I have tried calling Boise Id Location several times and no-one ever answers the phone. After resorting to National website and chat option( which took over 15 minutes for somebody to respond) I was on chat sharing all vital info and included an email with photos of receipts etc . Order couldn't be located firstly, and secondly after being online with them for over an hour and half they just stopped responding on chat with no disconnect happening. I waited half an hour and sent repeated messages asking if someone was there and still nothing. responded to email and also nothing . NEVER will do business with Micahel's again and will NEVER recommend their services or products again.
