This is Chelsea from Chelsea Loves Salon. As of 6/24/2020 Pasco County requires everyone who enters a business to be wearing a face mask. If you do not have one to bring to your hair appointment we will provide one for you. Please call the salon with questions. Thank you for understanding." This is a clear lie and we will never go to this business again. My mom is over 65 and clearly they do not respect any customer's health nor comfort.

I explained something pastel like but on appointment day i agreed to doing super light blonde with black streaks underneath but not chunky in my hair much like christina augileras hair and used that as refrence. When arriving i told her i have not bleached used dye or even any type of heat on my hair. Also that it has not been cut in a year as i have just gone the natural grow out route for the last 4 years and counting. She said she would need a whole day with a clear schedule to work on my hair due to thickness and length prior when we were chatting to schedule the appointment. I showed up thursday 10:30am to what happend to be a nightmare. She was very preoccupied with her kid as he went to work with her and many phone calls to family, friends, etc just a bit distracting as well as she SCHEDULED another client who needed foils and did her hair mid messing mine up. All the blonde she died turned grey as she did not think of the bleed when washing it out at all. She told me she had no idea that would happen and kept giving defensive reflective responses. I sat for 8 hours quiet and through the process as she praised me for being a dream client (in my head i was having a breakdown and was hoping she would save her ass) She pulled through with saving the blonde by using a special product to undo majority or the darkness. After all that she rinsed and straight up blow dried my hair not even asking me how i style it even tho i made many comments i just want my hair to look good with my curls as i have natural beach wavy hair and spiral curl combo. She blew it straight and hide all the mistakes. After leaving the salon and a family gathering i had to go to RIGHT AFTER i broke down to my fiance and spent the whole night crying my eyes out heartbroken. There was so much that went wrong even the length cut to just off my shoulders when i asked for long layers boob length. I sent a text that night and tried to sleep.. I woke up in the morning and patiently awaited a reply from her and she was first defensive and then said she could change it. I then went to wash my hair to see what i can even allow her to do as she already majorly messed up. Upon doing so I put my hair half up and noticed many thick foil marks and how yellow the blonde was. there was foil marks all over my hair at my scalp over 8-10 of them. When sending her photos she was livid and saying she already agreed to fix it and i was just looking for more things to point out but this was beyond i just noticed all the hidden mess in my hair that she clearly saw blow drying my hair layer by layer. She SWORE she neve saw it and if she did she would have fixed it that the foils slipped. But it was so apparent. I felt cheated and she started blaming me telling me im a liar and ive dyed and bleached my hair and highlighted it many times before coming in. I went ahead to find a colur correction specialist and got my hair fixed and that took another 7 hours and the whole place was so impressed the girl was able to save my hair from a complete botched job. I also was charged 212$ and i tipped 40$ as i just didnt think it was going to be that that bad and already was late to a family friend gathering/dinner. I asked for a refund and she gave me 60$ back and later blocked me on facebook and proceeded to make up a false status about the whole situation to ensure saving her ass further if i did go through with posting about it online. After looking at why she was fired from her last salon she "ensured wasnt her fault and had no idea why" i saw the review stating she did the same thing to another girl with long thick hair. Im not sure why she did me so dirty and has good reviews. I really was hoping to walk out with my dream hair and was willing to spend near 600-800$ to achieve it. But instead i lost 300$, 3 days of work, a whole 4 years of growing out my long healthy but dry hair and spent 14 hours at hair salons for 2 days straight. I wasnt going to post but after seeing her lash out on her own facebook in slander I feel its only necessary and to further prevent another experience like this happening as i missed the bad review from her old salon.
