As the hand-me-down shop for My Sister's Closet and a charity donation store in and of itself, this place can be hit or miss in terms of quality and selection. They occasionally have designer bags, but they sell quickly and don't post them anywhere online. The last designer bag I saw here was a tan Prada crossbody tote that was quite worn for $300. Most of their Lululemon clothes are priced between $12-$30. They put new items out on the floor at random times throughout the day (no set schedule). There is no sales tax on items purchased, and they have a $10 minimum for credit card purchases. The service here is standard, not overly friendly or rude. read more

Great little thrift store with a great heart. Funds from sales go to local charities, so it's a great organization to support. Neat, organized, clean and the friendly staff is always there to assist. Plenty of parking, unless in the boutique most items are very reasonably priced. They do have special events like this weekend was fill a bag for $25 where you rummage through bins and fill a 13g garbage bag and pay 1 price. Lots of buns to go through, after half an hour we left empty handed as we weren't lucky to find anything in our sizes we liked. In the store inventory is not overwhelming you can get through the store rather quickly. Smaller sizes have more options then in the larger sizes. Sometimes I luck out on shoes more than clothes. Hit or miss but for the chance of scoring name brand for low price, worth the visit. read more

Since my other review that explained what i saw in here got removed for being 'inappropriate', I'll reiterate that this store is okay as long as you arrive before the resellers that clear everything out. It makes for a poor shopping experience and i won't be recommending anyone to shop here who actually wants to find good deals. I left disappointed. read more

What a joke of a business. While they have a decent inventory and fair pricing, staff and rules are ridiculous. Staff is extremely standoffish and not helpful in any way with no apologies. Train your staff better. First off, wanted to purchase a $20 curling iron but they didn't let me test it to see if it works. Stated they don't have any available outlets. Why not verify that a product works before putting out on shelf. Really?? SMH. If it was cheaper I would have taken the risk but wasn't going to take the chance and potentially throw away $20 due to their no return policy. So I attempted to purchase a $5 pair of slacks only to find it was cash only for purchases under $10. I just had $3 cash in my wallet and told them I'd go to my car to see if I had more. I came back with my $3 bills and $2 in quarters that I was able to scrounge up only to be told they won't take quarters. Are you kidding me!!! Where is the logic? I easily could have found more items to purchase and use my cc but why would I give them the satisfaction when I was treated so rudely? I will never come back to this establishment and neither should you. Management and staff need to do better for their cause. read more

I would highly recommend this thrift store. Came in here because I had some time to kill while waiting for an appointment at a nearby business. It is mostly clothing. From the clothing that I saw, it seemed that the clothing here was higher quality and in pretty good shape compared to other thrift stores in the area. I found some home items that were at a very reasonable price! I walked out with a bag full of home items that I was looking for at only $12. The people working here were nice. I love the My Sisters' stores - closet and attic and now i can add this one! I have gotten some VERY good deals here. The store is always clean and the staff are welcoming. This time i paid $12 for designer jeans and a top. The prices can't be beat and you can get good designer items. This isn't a consignment store so not every item is in tip top shape - but they always have plenty of life left!! My mom got a dress in fabulous condition as well as a pair of pink true religions. I remember when those came out in the stores at over $200 a pop! $7 here. Good selection of men's clothes too so make it a point to stop by and give these items another chance! I always come when i'm in the are - you can't pry me away. read more

I ONLY go to this thrift store, it is the only place left where there are great finds at a great price. The prices being set by category is brilliant and I only wish more stores would follow suit! I had a negative interaction with one of store employees at "My Sister's Charity" in Chandler location. It was 113 degrees outside and I couldn't leave my water bottle in the car. So, I brought it with me to store and since there was no shopping cart, I left it in a corner that was not on the way of anyone. It was really heavy and I couldn't shop while holding it. The staff member told me in a very rude way that I had to carry it while shopping, and then threatened me to ban me from the store just because I left it in a corner out of people's way. As a customer, it felt unnecessarily harsh and unfriendly to be treated that way, especially when I explained the reason for my request. It seems like a basic request to leave a water bottle in a store for a short time, and not a reason to be treated in such a mean and disrespectful way. My experience at this store was very negative from this interaction with her. I also hope that the staff member who treated me so rudely is given instructions on treating customers with kindness, courtesy, and respect. read more

I love My Sisters Closet and now they have a Thrift Store! Even better, all profits are donated to non-profits in our community! I posted a picture of the list of where proceeds go. I was on my way to Goodwill in search of some home items when i had recalled reading about My Sisters Charities Thrift Store in the local paper. I had been meaning to check it out. The place was clean and organized. It's a small place so it wasn't overwhelming or daunting to shop. I had to check the clothing items (not what i was there for but the shoes and dresses were calling me) found many name brand items. By the time i checked out i had 4 dresses, pair of shorts, earrings, and a pretty green ceramic vase all for less than $40. This place has won my business. Just discovered this wonderful store this afternoon. First of all, they support numerous charities for women leaving abusive relationships, nature and animal causes, and on and on the list goes. Prices are so cheap and for good stuff! All dresses were $4 today and I walked away with 4 super cute ones including Trina Turk and Tommy Bahama. Lots of Lulu athletic stuff, darling shorts, pants, blouses, you name it! It's my new go-to even though I live 40 minutes away. Happy! read more

I want to preface this by saying me and my family have loved coming here since it opened, we love everything it stands for and still do. Sadly, a few weeks ago me, my sister, her daughter (three years old), and my mother came in to quickly see if they had something my sister had been looking for. About ten minutes in my niece was trying on shoes with my mom- who was constantly supervising her, (and putting everything they tried on back where it came from) and were approached by an employee who very rudely told my niece to put the shoes back. After, I asked my mother what happened because I had seen the interaction, the employee overheard and approached us AGAIN saying "if you have a problem or something you can go" we respected their rules yet she STILL felt the need to be extremely rude. She then started arguing with my sister. Both my sister and mother defended my niece (who was really scared by the way and immediately put the shoes back) saying they understand their rule is a rule but the way they were approached was not okay. They again were told "there's the door" even when the manager got involved. We ultimately left. My mother and sister went in for the first time since, they were asked to leave for supposedly "attacking" the volunteer, NOTHING physical happened and every conversation that occurred was instigated by that volunteer. I'm not a review type of person but it's truly disheartening, especially because I can admit when me or my family do something wrong but not only were they defending my niece the volunteer was the one to continually approach US, to say that they ATTACKED her is insulting and makes me so sad that this charity isn't important enough to the volunteers to have an ounce of understanding. I get how difficult kids can be, I work in the service industry, but the blatant rudeness I witnessed from not only the initial volunteer but the one at the cash register as well is just ridiculous. I didn't want to write this, but I feel like everything we've said so far has been completely disregarded and if my family can't support that charity anymore, at least the reason is known. I also want to make it apparent that I am not generalizing all of the workers or the establishment itself, this rating is specifically meant for these experiences and those involved, I wish this hadn't happened. read more

I had never actually tried thrift shopping until today. Needed to get a white outfit for an anniversary party happening that night so I decided to dash in there after going to ME next door. In the window, there was a sign up for 50% off everything. I was like ooh... well now I REALLY want to see what they have. First impression: BUSY! There was A LOT of people shopping! I took my time to get acquainted with the layout and then dug in... they had some REALLY GOOD stuff! I decided to get ready since winter is coming (I'm from HI, I have zero cold weather friendly clothes, and if I can get a wardrobe of them for close to nothing, HEY!) I started pulling stuff off the racks with all this excitement... then my arm could barely hold up my picks... THEY DON'T HAVE CARTS! That's a bummer especially when you have almost 30 outfits you want to try on and on and no more upper extremity use because the load is weighing your arms down. Finally juggle my way to the fitting room, and the line was ridiculous and not moving. Ugh... there were mostly sweaters anyway, so I went to a less busy part of the store, hung them all up and tried the sweaters and jackets on one at a time. I got over 20 items for a whopping total of $43.50. I am going to be in style for the winter! SO EXCITED! I'm happy I discovered this spot! read more

Ok, I'm a cheap bastard. I've become my parents. There was a time when I didn't own 100 pairs of shoes, pre-My Sisters' Charity days. $5 will get ya a decent pair of running shoes, or hikers, or every other weekend with 50% off, $2.50. I wanted a suit coat for the company holiday party. Maybe watched too many commercials of that guy with a two day old beard, suite jacket & jeans, maybe a dog, a nice car, always laughing, surrounded by half naked women........you too can have all that for $10, except the beard, dog, happiness, 1/2 naked women.....that's extra. The place is not tidy, but their stuff is practically free. You'll always find a little gem tucked away in some dusty corner. read more

I've been here a handful of times, twice on their half off Saturdays and I ALWAYS go home happy. Their items are conveniently priced by type of item: All dressed $8, all shirts $5, etc. and are separated by size. They also have mens clothing and some home items from their Attic store. On 50% off Saturdays, dresses go to $4, shirts $2.50... and so on. It gets crazy in there! The store is tiny and FULL of stuff to begin with, add a bunch of deal hungry shoppers early on a Saturday morning and this place can get hectic and crowded fast. I would recommend getting there early for the best selection, however if you arrive before they open, you can expect to wait in line just to get in. That's how BA this place is! My biggest tip- do not shop here if you need to try everything on! Their "fitting room" is a storage closet with a couple of screens and curtains, and there is nowhere to hang your clothes. Plus you'll stand in line forever because the tiny room accommodates like, 3 1/2 normal sized people at a time. Just buy the $2 shirt and if it doesn't fit when you get home, for Christ's sake just donate it again! Proceeds benefit Charity. Did I mention that it gets hectic and crowded? Expect to be (literally) pushed around. Bonus if you have a helmet and elbow pads, you might need them. Don't go hungry. Bring your manners and your patience and stay positive: think about the deals! I always score brand name items at insane discounts: BCBG, J Crew, ASOS, Banana Republic, TOPSHOP, Antonio Melani for $4!? You cannot find a better deal than that anywhere! The staff is amazing. I would go ape sh*t working there, but they are all so sweet and helpful, and I think some are even volunteers! Bless their hearts. Seriously say a little prayer for them right now, because they are the real MVP's. Cashier's are really quick, and they better be because there are only two of them for the whole store. The last time I was there, a lady went down the line of everyone waiting at the register and started removing all of the hangers from our purchases to save everyone time at checkout. Last tip: bring cash! If you have cash and a smaller purchase (5 or less items) you can skip the main (LONG) line altogether and pay in cash to the side of the line. If you don't mind working a little for a good deal this is the place for you! If you have no patience, don't care for good deals, skipped breakfast, are hungover, PMS-ing, or in any other generally bad mood - maybe this is not the place for you... read more

This thrift store, owned by the My Sister's consignment shops was a great disappointment. I visited a few days ago hoping to find a great thrift store..... well no such luck. A few observations: ~ Most of the items appear to be cast offs from their My Sister's Closet locations ~ Nothing, I repeat nothing is hung by size or even color. When I asked a staff member if the rack size markers were just not up yet (they did just open) she said no, things are just hung up by category - shirts, skirts, etc. So you get to sift through everything from a junior size 2 to a women's size 24 looking for your size?.... why yes you do. Unreal. Never saw such an unorganized mess. ~ Speaking of staff, no one there says hello when you enter or even acknowledges you while there. Another customer remarked about how indifferent they were to me. I couldn't agree more. I read that the owners formed a charity to help animals and other causes dear to them and I applaud that - that is one reason I chose to go there. But after my first (and probably last) visit I must say I left with the impression that this location is merely a dumping ground for items that wouldn't make the cut in their consignment shops, and they get a tax credit to boot. read more

We found a couple of nice things. Definitely better than average. On the smaller side but the merchandise was nice and and the store was clean and smelled good.
