I don't even know where to begin. I have two children and have taken my kids there literally their entire lives until today. My oldest started there when she was 13 weeks old. She will be 8 in November. My youngest is 5 and started when he was 12 weeks old. Putting your child into daycare for the first time is an emotional experience. They made it easy. They understood and accommodated me and all my weird obsessions or concerns that new parents have. I always felt special and important to them, not a nuisance. Never. They were an extension of our family. It is common for people to make assumptions about kids in daycare, but this was never daycare - it was a home and a school. They taught our kids. Our kids learned compassion, inclusion, empathy for others and they learned how to read and do math before ever entering public schools. One day my husband and I were talking about whether we made the right decision to have our kids in daycare - did they feel neglected by their parents? would their self-esteem suffer? etc. That next morning we took the kids in to "school" and our daughter went running in so excited to see her friends. She was confident, said hi to everyone. She knew all the teachers and admin teams names and they knew hers. They asked her about things that were personal to her (not generic greetings). Kids older and younger knew and vice versa. She walked down the hallway beaming confidence and excitement. A little kid so happened to be starting school that same day for the first time. I watched her as she went over and introduced herself to the kid and showed her around. Told her not to worry that they would have fun and that her mommy would come back...b/c they always come back. My son is the same. He races down the hallway and can hardly wait to see his friends. All weekend long he talks about seeing his friends. My Small Wonders has been there for our kids during every phase of their development so far. From infant classes to toddler and pre-k, then before and after care and the summer field trip program. They consistently met the changing needs of kids (and they change a lot!) They have given us resources when we asked. They have provided positive encouragement to us. When our kids go through a tough phase, they are there supporting us. Never do they judge us or criticize us or try to step-in uninvited. They are simply friends helping us balance our lives. They always treated us like friends/family/real people - not jut a number. They have supported us in many areas showing us much kindness and graciousness when I least expect it. The teachers are amazing. I can't say enough about the teaching team. Scott and Tammy have a way of finding the most incredibly kind, gifted and caring people and then taking them and nurturing/leading them in a way that they continue to grow and flourish. Anyone who gets to experience the people there will understand. They care about their team and that means alot to me. I want to send my kids some place where the leadership team appreciates and grows the teaching team and administrative team. That kind of appreciation shows in fruits of their labor. I made my best friends at MSW and so did my kids. I have relationships that grew with people in similar situation and phases of life like mine. What MSW has given me and my family is more than I could ever put into a review. They gave us so many intangibles that we will all carry with us our entire lives. I'm eternally grateful for the love they showed my kids. I will never be able to express my gratitude enough. If I had it to do over again, I would in a heartbeat. My wife and I started looking for a daycare center when we were six months pregnant. We visited several daycares in Edmond. Being first time parents we didn't know what to look for in a daycare facility so we did some research before and had our list of questions ready. It turns out we didn't need our list because the staff at My Small Wonders was very thorough in the tour and addressed all of our concerns/questions. First impressions during our tour - the facility is new, very clean, well thought out, and the staff was both professional and caring. We had been to some other daycares where the staff didn't seem to care - that is not the case at My Small Wonders. You can tell that they want to be there and enjoy the interaction with both kids and adults. Once we made the decision to go with My Small Wonders there was a wait list we had to get on. At the time the anticipated availability was exactly when we would need daycare when my wife was planning on going back to work. Good timing. As it turns out they had availability about a month before my wife went back to work so we used that first month to slowly introduce the little one (and us) to daycare. We have been going to My Small Wonders now for a little over three months. In those three months, we have not had any problems. The teachers take the time to discuss what our little one did during the day granted at five months old that usually consists of eating, sleeping, and pooping. We receive a "report card" every day showing the feeding/napping/pooping times which is helpful planning the evening schedule. Almost every week we also receive artwork that he did during the week. I know my kid is smart but I don't think he is actually painting yet. All the same it is appreciated and all of his artwork makes it to the fridge and emailed to nana. A few other thoughts - the cameras are nice to check in on our kid during the day (you will check them every hour for the first few weeks but will slowly stop checking them as often). My Small Wonders has family fun nights and other functions every so often but we haven't been able to attend any of those yet. I like the fact we have two teachers in our room (some have one) because if one teacher is out there is still continuity with at least one teacher. That about covers the basics. We feel fortunate to have My Small Wonders take care of our son. read more

Where do I even begin??! The facility is the best in the state of Oklahoma-hands down!! Scott and Tammy are amazing examples of Christ. They care about each and every child, parent and teacher who comes through those doors. They go above and beyond what any business owner would do to ensure they are providing the best environment and experience for all. They lead with honor and integrity in all that they do!! MSW was like home for me and my family for 3 years and I will cherish every memory! The curriculum is fantastic! My 3 year old can spell her name, count to 20, write and recognize some of her letters and so much more! If an incident occurs, they take it very seriously and notify parents immediately. If you have an issue, you must communicate it (They can't address what they aren't aware of). The staff will love your child as if they were their own. The leadership team is also amazing! Lindsay, Laura and Kari work tirelessly to ensure the daily responsibilities of the center are done with excellence. They work very hard to build relationships with EACH parent and child! I would HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone who wants their child to thrive in a fun, safe, yet challenging environment!! read more

Originally our daughter started daycare at a well-known and highly rated daycare facility in Edmond. We left after 6 months due to questionable practices and suspicious reporting of our daughters daily eating/potty habits. We were blessed to get the call from MSW when they had an opening. 3 1/2 years later and we still love MSW. Sure it's more pricey than some other facilities but you get what you pay for. The staff has always been friendly and caring with our daughter while still establishing proper behavior and manners. Our daughter lights up when she sees her past and current teachers outside the daycare setting. Kids are great at judging people's character and I have yet to meet an MSW employee my daughter doesn't like. As for the owners, Scott and Tammy, consider them your child's adopted grandparents. They are just awesome, loving people who have a passion for what they do. As for my child's development, my wife and I find ourselves amazed often by the new things she comes home talking about and the skills she has learned. I especially remember the day she came home counting to 10 in Spanish. Do yourself a favor, put your kids name on the list. read more

The owners are genuinely fantastic people with great heart and concern for the children under their care. They hire great people who extend themselves to my children, my wife and I. My recommendation to anyone considering placing their child into daycare that this a place you can trust. One child graduated as we enrolled our second. Our first child attended since 9 months old. After leaving MSW he was prepared and excelled in elementary school. Thanks in great part to MSW excellence. We are seeing this same pattern of excellence in our second child. We trust our teachers so greatly that we frequently use them as sitters. The school has three playgrounds and an inside playroom as well. It also has a safe room which has given us a great deal of comfort. If you are having a child or recently seeking a change of venue do give MSW an opportunity. I disagree with chicken in incubators comment, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. In MY opinion, the rooms are large enough to accommodate the activities and needs of the children without wasting a bunch of space. Additionally, sometimes kids throw things... I don't necessarily think that's indicative of a "wild classroom". My daughter started here when she was 7 weeks old, and I've been more than thrilled with her/our experience over the last year and half. The owners are VERY involved and are always striving to make sure each child gets the individualized attention they need while also creating a fun learning environment. The curriculum and structure here is beyond compare, but you can also see that all of the teachers and owners genuinely care about the children and their experience. If you are looking for a place for your child in Edmond, this is by far the top choice. read more

I cannot say enough about this development center. I have worked in childcare for many years and in several different facilities and this is the only place I will put my son. This place is like no other and is truly a home away from home for the children. The curriculum is age appropriate and fun, the teachers are always going above and beyond and the children are encouraged to be creative and use their imaginations. Everyone is in such a good mood all of the time because it is such a pleasant place to be. The teachers actually teach and have so much passion and the owners genuinely care about the impact they are making on the children. They are not in it for the money and it shows! My son has attended this child care center for four years. We LOVE it so much! Every teacher he has had has been so kind, caring and loving. He did have one teacher that he felt was too strict but he's a sensitive kid and they just didn't mesh. The owners were great about getting him switched to another teacher who was a better fit. I appreciate the fact that every day when I am there, I am greeted by the owners and the Director. They are very hands-on to ensure that the quality of everything from the food to the curriculum is top-notch. They are constantly making improvements to make sure the children are safe and happy (shade on the playground, a tornado safe room, etc). I would never take my son anywhere else and have recommended MSW to many friends. It is the BEST! read more

My 3 year-old daughter has gone to My Small Wonders since she was 6 months old. She absolutely loves going to school there - even misses it on the weekends! I've referred several friends and coworkers there, and they grow to love the place too. My daughter has had the same thoughtful, caring teacher for the past two years, as well as several other great team members. It gives me so much peace of mind to know she's safe, well cared for and having fun while I'm at work. But more importantly, the staff at MSW has really been a partner in our parenting - reinforcing the values and manners we expect at home. Amanda A. needs to find another hobby. Obviously, she likes to go around and harass people on social media and be a bully. That is unacceptable. My Small Wonders is the best child care facility that I know of in Oklahoma. It is privately owned so it has the top notch of everything including teachers! Maybe Amanda A. and VB. who have made poor accusations regarding this facility and the personnel feel they need to downgrade others in order make themselves feel better. Maybe they should just go to church instead of acting ugly. One of the greatest decisions you make as a parent is where you leave your child for full time daycare. I could not be happier with our choice of My Small Wonders. We started our daughter here when she was 6 weeks old and have been thrilled with the care she has received. The director and owners are a constant presence in their facility making sure everything is going smoothly and the kids are well taken care of. We have loved every teacher our daughter has and feel that they truly love her also. The organization, communication and cleanliness are evident from the time you walk in the door. Our daughter has attended My Small Wonders for 3.5 years and we've been very happy. The facility is spotless and beautiful (and newly expanded to include more classrooms, a large indoor playroom for bad weather days and a safe room for storm season) and the staff genuinely cares about our daughter and our family. Any issues we've had have been quickly addressed when we brought them to the attention of the management or her teacher. Our daughter seems to know everyone there and is absolutely loved and well cared for every day. Our son has thrived at this school. After trying a different Edmond school where I wasn't sure he was getting individualized attention, we switched as an infant to MSW and we have been so pleased with his progress for more than a year now. They have taught him so much. He's two and he knows his colors, shapes, letters, and also can count in English and Spanish. He also loves his teachers, and I think that I really special and unique about this program. I highly recommend this school and would put a future child here in a heartbeat!!! read more

We had our daughter there for 3 years and our son there for a year before we had to move out of town. We were so incredibly sad to have to leave MSW. The school was great. The teachers LOVED their kids. The owners and director were always very involved, accessible and LOVED the kids. The parents were friendly and made it easy to build relationships outside of school. Both my kids love this daycare. My five year old that goes to elementary school chooses to come back here on her school breaks instead of going to camp or somewhere else. Thanks to her wonderful caretakers she was potty trained by age 3 and was reading by age 4. And all of our friends who have kids the same age as mine in different schools or daycare are always amazed at the vocabulary and social skill my kids have, most of which they have acquired at my small wonders. read more
